I'm so in love with this book, it's very celtic like to me and I keep envisioning the border and small details picked up with gold ink, like richly illustrated vintage books. I think it would look amazing in rich earthy colours but tbh I'm completely intimidated by the art work. It's so so beautiful I'm afraid of mucking it up!
I agree that it does have celtic looking elements. I like the way that you have imagined coloring it too! It would look very rich and maybe a little old world. The great thing about having the pdf is that you can practice your vision and see how it plays out before trying it out in the book. Happy coloring x

You know I suffered from fear of messing up a "special" book as well. Of course, I am now over that almost. I have spilt coffee on World of Flowers and had a little "art" accident on it and then I took a knife to it lol. I figured that really I was just learning and maybe I shouldn't take it so seriously. After all, the bulk of the book is still fine and if I truly want another one I'll find a way to get it. Plus, I've actually learnt so much from making messes in my book that I can take these experiences to other books and continue to improve. After all, it's meant to be relaxing rather than stressful worrying about making mistakes. Hope this helps you with your worries and we can both mentally shake each other :) Happy coloring x

Only once in my life have I felt regret tearing open an envelope. 😢 I cried a mental tear in regret and promised to keep it's shredded remains with the rest of my coloring goodies where it remains till this day. 😑 But that didn't stop me from ripping open the luxurious wrapping paper!! 😆 Hahaha! The book is here! (Rip) Yes! (Shred) I've waited Years!! (So only a few months. But in colorist time it's like Forever!!) Mine!!! So it will be nice to see a sane and calm person open the package. 4:09 The care and packaging of this book is just amazing! 4:36 I know! I love small coloring books! When it fits the style of the art of course. 4:44 The handbag!!! Moonlight Vale is on the premium book shelf! Waiting for her display stand so she can go on the place of Honor next to my Tiffany Style Dragonfly lamp! It's in front of two corner windows so Moonlight Vale can be bathed in Moonlight!!! Ok so the windows face the wrong way for that to ever happen but a girl can dream. 7:17 I found out so late that when I tried to preorder the book it wouldn't let me just the PDF! And you know I don't like PDF's. But this book was so beautiful I just couldn't give up so I emailed Kickstarter and they helped me pre-order a physical copy. But I was so grateful just to get one I didn't think of ordering two. 7:33 True but since I foolishly only got one copy I'm never going to color in it so it all works out. I'm just going to occasionally flip through it and sigh that happy sigh 😊. 9:44 It's Perforated?? No way! Really? It is!! 😮😄 I didn't even notice! Oh your so right! The excellence of this book! Wow! I hate perforation because I don't want my pages to come out unless I want them to! But this book feels sturdy. It was done perfectly. 10:51 You saw them right? Of course you did! Bunnies!!!! 😄 Oh you think there will be another book? That will be awesome! And I'll order more than one copy since I won't be so late to it. I loved this! I had my copy but I hadn't seen what the prints where like. And its fun to unbox it with a Friend. 😃 I loved this! Okay I'll stop gushing. Thanks so much!
ha ha I hated cutting froggy's throat but I couldn't save him :( . All that prettiness getting ripped apart, makes me sad. It's okay though I'll be more careful with the other two lol. I like how you have set up a little shrine for the book. I will probably practice in the pdf first before I commit to paper because you know I'm on training wheels and frighten easily with books :) . Glad KS could help you get the physical book! I do believe though it will be on AZ (not sure the format though). The book is really well made, makes me wish it was hardcover so it could live on my luxury shelf. I think the text at the end was a hint for another book (or maybe wishful thinking). She has a lot of work in her portfolio so I think it's doable. Ha ha I knew about the bunnies ....every book is always better if it has bunnies! Happy coloring x
Got mine yesterday and like you thought the whole package was just superb. The book itself is absolutely beautiful, but like you I have to admit to being surprised at how much smaller it actually was compared to say the Johanna Batsford books. Having said that I still love it! I could only afford one copy as the postage to the UK was so astronomical so will probably print off the pdf file and colour that rather than attempt to colour the book itself, I would hate to spoil it :-)

What do you think of the paper ? Has it a little bit of tooth , l will have to buy this book , but l think l will be afraid to colour in it , l think l would get lost as where to start , thankyou for showing it .
I received my order from Annie after donating and following her Kickstarter campaign. I've noticed that others have received 4-5 of the beautiful pictures as part of the beautifully packaged book. I only received 2 🤔. Wondering if all the packages are the same and mine got missed

I'm a bit confused by it too tbh as I would have thought buying 3 would bump me up a bit but I seem to have got the same as others. The book even though small is outstanding. I wish it was spiral bound. I have been coloring in books that are spiral bound and I find them so much easier to color in.
There's a lot of detail on the small page! You can always remove the binding and take it to your local print shop for spiral binding. I guess I'm in the minority as I really don't like spiral binding ..mainly because of the binding which damages my other books when on the shelf :( I have to store them horizontally away from the others so they don't damage the covers of the neighbors :( Happy coloring x
I received the prints as part of the Kickstarter pledge that I made. There were different levels of reward that you could choose which had different things - bookmarks, prints, pdf etc. Now that the Kickstarter campaign has ended the books, prints are in the retail space where the artist sets the price and doesn't need to bundle up the products - if that makes sense. It's a stunning production but I am glad I didn't buy into the kickstarter in the end. There's way too much blackwork and shading for my liking. I prefer to have the option to add my own detail in colour. It definitely makes a lovely line-art book to look at.

The price to Australia is pretty high as well. Fortunately there is a pdf version that you can buy and print at home or at your copy shop. This cuts out the shipping cost and saves a bit of money. Happy coloring x

i think they may have sent you the prints free, i see them for sale on the site at 20 dollars each, i will see what happens when i get books ..
