- Took me quite a few attempts. Practiced rolling for a while first and then settled on parrying for my actual attempts.
The second clip was of a much more engaging fight.. unfortunately, disaster struck as I rolled into a light pillar. Sad.. forever?

Sick run but i gotta know how the hell you people get i frames on your backstep. It doesn't have i frames yet i see people backstepping to i frame certain moves and i cant find any info on how that works online.

Yep, as the comment above suggests, use the Fine Crucible Feather Talisman or the Talisman of all Crucibles, both found in the DLC. Provides i-frames on backsteps
Is landing the party easier for the AoW than normal?
I found parrying him stops him from doing his long attack chains so you get more time doing damage and staying out of harm's way.
golden parry aow is better than buckler aow due to its bigger parry hitbox size, if that's what you asked. but both work well.
