It sort of reframed the "Can you see me? Then be quiet" for me. Rather than him warning us about some other entity, he's warning us not to spill secrets we've uncovered.
@Mr Clean I think I know which one image you mean, the one with 3 drawings of home? If so I think those were just concept art for Home’s design. There are also a few other concept art for the other characters. Home probably didn’t even exist at the time they made that art and also I’m pretty sure those are eyelashes. Even the first one you can see they did too lashes instead of bottom.
I agree. What if it's "Welcome Home" as an order rather than an invitation? Welcome Home into your life, into your heart. What if Home created the characters to worship it and due to their lack of faith or waning love Home slowly got rid of all of them. Wally is the only one left, desperate to prove his love for Home in a bid to stay alive. Maybe Wally is asking us for help to free him from Home.
Honestly, I don't think the audio of Wally singing Beautiful Dreamer sounded all that joyful. It sounded more... apathetic, than anything. It also sounded like he was missing Barnaby, as he was apparently the one who taught him the song. Also, if you look at this from the perspective of Home possibly being the villain, then we actually can't be sure that Wally is the one responding to those messages. It might be Home posing as Wally, trying to lure us in (don't ask me how a house is using a computer).
That’s an interesting idea that Home could be posing as Wally. However, there might be some evidence to suggest otherwise. Looking at the bottom of the guestbook where all the signatures are, Wally and Home have the same handwriting in the same color which suggests that Wally signed for Home as Home physically cannot. It would seem difficult for Home to be framing Wally. But that definitely is an interesting idea!
@@RemGames I feel like if Home were some trapped person, it would be way more frantic and hostile toward Wally. Instead, it just looks around everywhere it seems.
I agree about the song. He sounds so sad singing it, and after asking Home if he likes it and Home bangs around, he just says "that's good...I think..." so while he’s glad Home approves, he himself isn't happy, hence "I think."
To try and resolve some confusion, this theory doesn't state that Wally isn't a victim. He very well could be. However, it doesn't feel like he is JUST a victim. Again, while this could always be wrong as this is just a theory, it still feels like there are many string being pulled by Wally himself, either being influenced to do so or on his own accord. Also, I’ve heard on the last video in the comment I pinned that Clown doesn’t want to get involved in any theories around his project as it may jeopardize their ideas as a whole. So please, maintain his wishes and do not send my or anyone else’s theories to them. If he wants to indulge in any theories or any content at all about Welcome Home, it should be their choice to do so whenever they feel ready. Thank you again for reading this, and I hope you enjoyed the video! (Also, sorry for some of the graphical exporting errors in this video and the last one. This computer has been freaking out a bit as I’m currently not using my main one so it’s less powerful and acts weird sometimes)
I saw a message in the guestbook on page 6 25th comment that said "where am I?? What is this place... If someone is reading this please help me, I have no clue what is happening here all there are there, people, I think that's what they are, they look almost like strange puppets from a child's book... But if there's anyone out there reading this... Help me.. please" I think it's Wally Edit: no it wasn't Wally I just clicked on the picture of X's and ?'s on it and Wally said "why are you fibbing you are not here I don't see you please don't lie to me" it's just someone acting as Wally.
My theory is that Wally started out as just a fictional character in a kids show but then something happened, something gave him a spark of life that turned him into a living being that is self aware and can communicate with people in the real world through the website. Wally became some sort of supernatural being, and since he's alive, he'll need some form of food to eat in order to aviod starving to death. Apparently he eats things through prolonged eye contact... But if he's constantly making eye contact with you the viewer, does that mean he's been feeding off of you, the person behind the screen? If so, this could explain why the people creating this website are going through physical pain, they would be in constant contact with Wally. It would be easy for Wally to feed off of them. I think Wally feeds off of the souls of people who pay large amounts of attention to him. But all this raises the question, is this whole being an alive and self aware supernatural being thing actually unique to Wally, or were all the characters from the show given this supernatural spark of life Wally gained? Were they all alive and self aware too? They are all refered to in the past tense as if they died, so I think they were all alive like Wally is, but they all got eliminated, leaving Wally as the last man standing. All the characters had this supernatural spark of life, but something or someone snuffed out that spark in all the other characters, resulting in them returning to just being fictional characters again. And Wally being the only character left truely alive. This single supernatural being within that website, instead of one of many beings within the website. There's that short GIF of all the character's eyes... so does this emphasis on their eyes mean all the characters had the ability to devour things through eye constact? If all the characters feed off of attention from viewers to keep themelf alive... then it sure would be convenient for Wally if all the other characters "disapeared"... No other characters means no one else to pay attention to. All eyes would be on Wally and he would never have to compete with any other character for food. Or maybe the other characters weren't killed off purposfully, maybe they all died of starvation and lost their supernatural spark of life because they couldn' t feed off of enough souls to survive. Wally's the main character, he got most of the attention from viewers, so perhaps he got to feed off of peoples souls the most while everone else starved and perished. Maybe Wally isn't evil, maybe he's just trying to stay alive.
Did anyone notice all the eyes hidden in the artwork bordering the left and right of the website?!? And then the eye hidden on the rock Wally is sitting on the welcome page?!?
Clown said that the old artwork of characters on the tumblr page isn't related to the arg and current story of the events, so artwork of evil Wally isn't canon to the actual story of the arg. These are only concept art. Just pointing it out to you.
@shanapowell1176that's ON the website though, clown saying past artworks aren't canon to the website story is on their TUMBLR which is outside their story, it's where they highlight their rules/where they showcase tons of non-canon stuff (they literally have tons of past posts about them casually creating and designing wh) so yes, we do have to acknowledge when clown is saying things aren't canon. Clown themselves have said isn't an arg, this is just an art project for them, which means if its not on the website it's not related.
I do have one question. How is Wally controlling the site. I know somehow the show was taken down abruptly in 1974 I do think maybe somehow the Wally puppet became sentient and destroyed the studio and is who is sending the notes to the whrp. I feel like the studio is destroyed somewhere and he’s just there. The entire place is destroyed. No puppets no humans. Just Wally. Stuck there in his little house (the studio) he’s trying to get us to come and make him feel better. We need to find this studio.
Good Question! We believe that Wally is controlling the site through his messages. If the WHRP are not purposefully hiding their text and creating strange orientation errors, than something else has to be doing it. All of these secrets involve Wally in one way or another, with one of them being Wally talking to us directly, and two of them heavily implying it. So if the WHRP are not creating these website errors, and most of them lead to Wally with him talking to the viewer directly, then somehow Wally (or someone associated with him) is influencing this website to create these secrets
that's what i have been trying to do, Find the Studio, but idk where it is, if Only Wally gave us a Sign of where it is, anybody Agree with me? (btw Wally, if your reading this, i hope your having a Lovely day, -Moonlight)
there's art of Home with long lines of black tears down its eyes. theres also a creeping shadow that seeps out from under Homes doorstep that could be written off as a normal shadow, until you notice none of the other houses look that way.
It feels like there's a duality with Wally, one side of him trying to warn us away, and the other lure us in, like maybe he's being controlled by HOME. Since Home is crying in some art, it could be Home that is lonely. If they're trying to do a Walten/Freddie's, maybe Wally was a real person trapped inside the puppet and wrestles for control of his body with Home? That doesn't mean he doesn't have his own motives though.
Also, in the news page there us an art of Wally reading a newspaper. There is a picture of what seems to be barbaby on the newspaper, as if a missing person poster. And in the corner of the sofa there is a piece of cloth that looks a lot like Barnaby's fur! Did Wally do something to Barnaby?
Yes, that is exactly what i noticed aswell. Plus the fact that in the links page the only gif/thing you can click on is Barnaby’s gif which makes him different from the others I guess? And also the fact that there seems to be a painting of some sort of Barnaby’s paw on the rock that Wally sits on.
@Kaylee Jazz oh damn, maybe. I do think he actually was good friends with Barnaby tho because of when he sang a lullaby to Home that he learnt from Barnaby which I think was set after Barnaby was killed. But one thing I’m confused about is the guestbook, in the guestbook Wally didn’t understand certain words people said so he asked some of the other puppets what they meant like Frank and Barnaby, either set before Barnaby may have been killed or he’s still alive in a way?
@@tammywhitson4164 Here's something interesting I found, as a web developer, snooping through the code of the website. I noticed that, when the website puts a cookie onto your computer, two of the things saved in the cookie are "is_headless," which is a true or false boolean, and "is_headless_reason?", which is a string of text. Also, the house's eyes in the neighbourhood is actually two separate images. The front of the house and then the eyes are a separate GIF called "SeeYou.gif." If you remove both Home's top and its eyes, you find a spiralling black void underneath.
Just a guess, but my theory is that "home" is just an amalgamation of puppets that Wally has kidnapped and dismembered... which would explain why all of Wally's friends are spoken of in the past tense and why home is sentient. I also think home is incomplete to some extent or not what Wally wanted it to be (whatever that is) which is why he needs you/us to complete it.
Maybe Wally killed all his friends to gain sentience maybe to see if he was really in a show or not but with Wally trying to rebuild his friends it seems like he feels guilt about how his friends died and wants to use us the viewer to bring them back. Idk at times it seems like he is a villain and other times where it seems like he’s a victim trapped in home. Maybe he has split personality or an alter ego. He can’t seem to remember his friends but is so invested to bring them back, he just seems kinda different from his puppet self
For me, I think wally has been 'alive' before the show became a lost media. Ever since it happened, he had been very lonely because of this until the WHRP unexpectedly found it. "I felt it. I heard it. Open. Open. Open" - This could be in the point of view of wally somehow hearing the WHRP unwrapping them and gaining some hope to finally be actual alive again. I also feel like in the original show, wally mostly interacts with the audiences just like the other childhood shows I mostly know(I forgot all of their titles but I can still remember them). That's probably the reason is why he is the only one that can almost interact with the viewers. I still don't know if wally is the main character or an evil antagonist. (This is just my own theory. Theory is a made-up info to finding out the truth of something.)
Okay so this is a bit crazy but hear me out. I think that Wally and the others are sentient (Don't ask me how because idk yet) and someone working on the show found out so out of fear they took it upon themselves to shut down and erase Welcome Home from existence. They trapped the puppets on the set where they filmed for the show which is the *Neighborhood*. As you know sets are often broken up into parts so I believe that the part Wally got stuck in was a set with Home. Locking Wally away only made him as dangerous as they feared so Wally (like you said before is lonely) being as lonely as he his is trying to get people to come to the Neighborhood so it can be like the old days again. He starts by giving the WHRP the envelopes. He may not entirely know what he's doing to them is wrong because being locked away for that long can set a few screws loose. He tries to get people to come to the Neighborhood by using the WHRP's website and the phone. (Sorry that's all I got but I would love to hear feedback and your own thoughts!)
(I'm just casually listing all the spooky guestbook findings that I can for those who are nosey like me lol) ● Not all that dramatic or revealing, but in the guestbook on the first page, there is also a message from Ramsey that says "Hi :)" in which Wally draws a smiley face back on the message, and the file reads "Hello. Why are you smiling this way. I'll keep you company neighbor" Editing this as I go lmao: ● There is also another message, still on the first page, by someone named Watchey that says "Hey Wally I hope your cool and not super evil, that'd be a real bummer" In which Wally responds with a crying smiley face with it's file responding "You don't like me neighbor" ● Another message on the second page from Jacky that says "Hello!" Over and over again, in which Wally draws "HELLO" over top of it, and the file response reads "I can hear you neighbor" ● On the 6th page, there is a message from Nosipho that talks about memory, in which Wally scribbles it out in red, and the file reaponse reads "No memory" ● A little further ways down on the 6th page, there is a message from Elliott that is talking about it being a fun, whimsical website and saying they will fetch treats for the neighbors, to which Wally draws an X in a box over it, and the file response reads "I can't reach them. I'm sorry" ● One other that I found back on the earlier pages was a message asking Wally why he makes eye contact, Wally responds by drawing a big, multicolor spiral over top of it and the file reaponse reads "So you will know I am looking at you neighbor. I am talking to you" I just find these fun to go through
Things I'd like to point out 1. The second thing you see after entering the website is Wally looking at you but people never talk about Home looking at Wally. If we acknowledge how important eye contact seems in this arg, this could mean Home is controlling Wally to control us. Or that Home is angry at him, like Afton's victims, plotting revenge. 2. What are Home's motivation? Home is the other potential bad guy but what would be his goal? Torturing the thing that killed him if he was someone working on the show before the rampage of a crazy puppet? Perhaps Wally's puppeteer? That'd be cool having them both struggling for control. 3. Wally's favorite place to paint is outside, away from Home. Don't know what that means just the only thing I noticed noteworthy in the script. We could also assume the picture from point 1 is this script. 4. Wally telling you to stay quiet could be to prevent people from feeling the pain this knowledge apparently gives. Also although we know his voice can be heard by us (the song) he chooses to type like he does on the website. Somebody who he doesn't want to hear him is there...Home is there. He's inside home and it's dark. 5. Home's eyes move in a strange way. A code? A desperate attempt to escape? Idk Ps. I totally favor Wally I don't trust home one bit
Part of me hopes neither of them are truly innocent, but doing things out of desperation. However, I do think Wally has a good chance of getting redemption merely because of the narrative, but also a more complex one and not just "oh he just needed a hug". There can't be forgiveness without bloodshed. Also, the creator said the project is about what a home is for people under different circumstances, and even if they both have done awful things I do feel it would make more sense if Home was the more resistant one. Maybe Home not being able to talk with words is an allegory for poor communication in a family.
Omg, I’m finally not the only person who noticed how Home seems to always be staring at us! In that one photo, the “There he is!” Concept photo, I decided to further examine the image, and I’m pretty sure Home is staring at Wally rather than us in that image.
@@RemGames Please, if you get to it, explain the sudden change from horror to politics in Mister Manticore's Monument Mythos... Please... politics are boring...
@@venomfan2020 Politics unlocks a primal rage for the idiocy of humanity for me. When I heard "President Hillary Clinton" mentioned, I stopped caring about the series immediately. When you talk about people still living, especially politicians, it rarely sounds naturally and sticks out too much.
(I didn’t discover this myself ) but the phrase “Wally Wally blood and dolly” the meaning will appear as : disco era slang for ‘being so crazy for someone that you don't see their faults and shortcomings’ I think that why many ppl think home control wally
My theory is the site is ran by Wally, looking for his lost friends & memories. A desperate cry into the void, that's why it hurts, why it needs to get out. All he has is his literal home, all alone going through old scripts, pictures & merchandise, barely able to makeout the dates. It's a theory
Now I’m getting reminded a lot about DDLC. Loneliness.. monika and wally. Always talking to the viewer/player. Monika and Wally. All of their friends are gone, it’s just you and them. Monika. And. Wally. You see where I’m going for here ?
There's a kid in my student teaching placement who is OBSESSED with this ARG It's honestly adorable so I guess this will be making me a better educator, just this once
Because home is bleeding and Wally looks to by suffering I think they have a negative version of the symbiotic relationship where yes they can’t survive without the other but they hurt eachother like a friend-enemy relationship
14:49 The number being 999 is kinda scary since that number means "Completion and new Beinings." or "Something is coming to an end while something new begins."
7:26 if you hover on that link you can see wally's eyes form in the static, it's very hard to see but it's definitely there. Not the whole time, they appear for moment then fade out.
Why do I have this strange feeling that there's going to be a plot twist? Like, I know that it's way too early in the story of welcome home, but what if it's neither Wally or Home that's pulling the strings here? Like could be possible that both Wally and Home are the victims here? Like Someone's taking advantage of Wallie's loneliness and the longing to bring his friends back or just going back to the way things were, but with a cost... idk, I just have a feeling that there's someone else who's pulling the strings. But hey that's just my little theory, I could be wrong and thinking way to deep into this.
Honestly same. Wally seems to be a type of Pawn or something. If he does stuff evil he is probably doing it in favor of others being ok rather then because it's purely for him. If Home is evil he's probably doing it in favor of a bigger entity. I have a feeling Home is used to spy on the neighborhood or something. He can see everything but can't talk but maybe he can tell someone else the details. He could talk to Wally tho you might say? But there's a trick. In the singing file Wally seems very unsure of what Home even says back like if he is trying to make out the meaning and there's some language barrier between the two. There might be someone bigger that maybe Home is working for and is using Wally as a pawn. We can't even be sure if Wally is the one replying to the massages. If Home is good he might be doing it for him while Wally is stuck inside him. Maybe Home locked Wally in because he really just wants to protect Wally from a bigger source. Or not.. idk but I can't wait to get more info!
The way it looks to me, Wally may have been the only self aware puppet on the show. Home, the house, might count as well, but there's too little information to decide what exactly it is. Anyway, it seems like the show may have been cancelled when Wally was discovered to be self aware, and in the process he ends up all alone, in the dark, with what little is left of the physical props from the show, for decades. In desperation to cure his loneliness, which has driven him mad long ago, he finally has found a way to try and bring back the show, and through it, to find some new friends. Whether they want to be 'found' or not.
Based on what we’ve seen so far, I think that Wally is trapped inside of Home. As mentioned in the last video, based on the signatures left at the end of the guestbook, we know that each color is associated with one of the characters (like red for Wally, pink for Susie) We know that Wally and Susie played a game of tik-tak-toe at some point, but then we see an empty tik-tak-toe board with only Wally as the player. In another instance of the characters once being together, one of the comments in the guestbooks mentions something along the lines of Eddie being handsome - Wally answers by saying that he has told Eddie and that he was flattered. However, we know that the characters are no longer together since Wally tells us in one comment that he is unable to reach his friends. My theory is that everyone else left to where ever it is that they originated from (which we know that all but Wally come from some place outside of Home) yet Wally is unable to leave Home (since it mentions in the error page that we’ve wandered too far from Home - as in the character, not the home page). In the so below image, I don’t think that Wally is worshipping Home, rather Wally is pleading with Home. Notice that Wally is in the darkness, as if he’s trapped inside. In one of the secret pages we can access, we also see Wally’s eyes replace Home’s eyes with the text “Open” at the bottom. I think this refers to the idea that Wally is stuck inside (notice how this page is also black as well). In another secret page, where the text is slowly spelled out, only Wally’s eyes are visible and he is once again shrouded in darkness. I don’t know why Wally is unable to leave Home, or if Home is keeping him in, but I think the our Wally Darling is being held captive for some reason - I hope that with future updates, we’ll be able to see why he has been imprisoned.
If you delete the house using inspect element. You can find a pit with some little swirly thing in the middle. I noticed this when I found that weird black puddle and figured out that Home was just the overlay when I reloaded the page. I think it could mean that whatever is making Home alive is in that pit, like his roots. What if he turns out to be a plant in the end?
I feel like Wally is lonely and obsessive, that might be why he is doing this. He calls us part of the neighborhood because we are alive sentient. It seems home is also in on these schemes, home might be a prisoner, or monster that is stuck here suffering an endless hell.
So I just started watching the vid, and I want to point something out on the rock that Wally sits on. If you look at the bottom corner, you will see an eyeball that seems drawn on, most likely by Wally himself. Because Wally's little "gimmick" with eyes, I thought this was a very interesting little detail. I know the artist of the image will be happy to know someone caught on! :D Nice vid btw!!!!!! Keep up the amazing work! Edit: I just finished watching, and, oh wow that cleared things up at least slightly! Also fun fact: Wally was the creator's alter ego! Maybe.....IT'S THE CREATOR'S SOUL POSSESSING WALLY!?!?!?!?!?!?!? WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?!?!?
I've been cruising UA-cam for people talking about this ARG to hear other's thoughts & come up with my own theory. This is what I have so far on what I've labeled 'Demonic Cult Theory' I think Wally is a demon or even Lucifer himself & a cult leader/mouthpiece for whatever is laying underneath this technicolor children's series. His character sheet features shiny, Christian cross cufflinks. This hints at religion & possibly demons. Wally is the only character whom speaks to us players, taking control & speaking for Welcome Home. Barnaby is Wally's hellhound/a homunculus creation. All of the neighbors' bios talk about how they moved to this town from other places & away from their families, yes? A cult draws in vulnerable people by building a community & 'home' as well as separate them from their family. This is a method of manipulation & mind control. (Yes, this is a real-life thing & it sucks.) These Muppet characters were recruited to join the town as followers. So this could have been a cult community, disgusted as a Muppets type of show. Regarding the 'lost' episodes, I think all of the footage was either hidden away or destroyed to protect humanity from the demonic influence of Wally Darling.
I’m glad to see a welcome home theory video since I recently got into it but if you haven’t noticed some messages in the guest book are scribbled out which could mean something
weird idea: in the assumption home is the true puppeteer, what if wally made a pact with home that home can channel through wally and so our darling wally doesn’t get consumed? i don’t know, just an idea
I love how you get more and more excited as the theory goes on, I don't know, it's nice to see people so passionate over sharing thoughts and starting discussions like this. One of the reasons why I love the theorists community :]
There is a saying. The eye is the mirror to one's soul. wally can be a demonic creature that lures children souls into Home to twist and bend them to playmates and play with them until they 'break'.
I'm so glad someone else picked up on the Barnaby and Wally drawing of the "made a dog" thing! Also, I'm gonna pick up the phone because I'm sure that the precious neighborhood over there would be way better than the actual life we have as long as I can bring two or so people with me
I did research about the song he sang which is "Beautiful Dreamer" I searched up that meaning of the song it said that the song meant. is about a lover serenading a “beautiful dreamer” who is unaware of worldly fun. In addition, the dreamer may also be actually dead. To have an insight, most of Foster’s works and pieces talk about dead young women which includes his sister Charlotte. An American singer-songwriter Helen Lightner points out, “This sentimental ballad is folk-like in character with its repetitious but lovely melody and its basic harmonic accompaniment… The quiet and calm of this mood is portrayed by the monotony of the arpeggiated accompaniment, by the repetitiveness of the melodic pattern, and by the strophic form itself.” Idk if this was actually needed or mattered in the ARG but I think this points out something... sorry if I had bad grammar lol
but hear me out: what if someone is lurking us into thinking that Wally is the bad guy? (Idk who that someone could be yet) Maybe, when the show ended, all the stuff of the show and the puppets got destroyed except for Wally so he spended all of this time alone. But when whrp tried to find some more about this show maybe Wally is trying to communicate with them but he doesn't know that in doing so he is hurting them but not because he wants to, he spent so many years alone ( basically from 1974 to early 2023) that he forgot what it feels to be friends with someone, he forgot what caring for the other feels like and so much loneliness made him go crazy. About the destroyed puppets, like I said, Wally didn't destroy them, the old creators did (it's no surprise that the show suddently ended and disappeard frome everywhere, they wanted to get rid of everything that had anything to do with the show) or someone else did (for fun maybe) so now Wally is also trying to put them together and not destroying them or else he wants to put us in those 'empty bodies' of his friends trying to bring them back to life or smth like this (if you played fnaf you probably get what I mean)
SO... Great video. I still think it's Home. Especially because of the "duet" audio. While many may think Wally doesn't seem concerned with Home's reaction to the song, I think Wally's "that's good... I think" conveys a tone of concealed anxiety. Even with his awkward laugh before that. It feels like when you get asked to sing in front of someone and you feel like you've been put on the spot... He doesn't want to, but he doesn't want to step out of line, he doesn't want to cause any tension between himself and this living building he is currently residing within... Who KNOWS what Home can do to him while he's within its walls...? Also, when it comes to the image of Wally kneeling before Home's window/eye... To me, personally, it doesn't much look like someone worshiping as much as it does of someone - perhaps - pleading; Wally trying to reach out and make everything return to normal, to how it used to be...
14:49 Id like to point out the 999 in the bottom left corner. 999 is the angel number for “Release” meaning he needs to release and let go of his friends or of us. Or we need to let go of our lives before Home.
One of my coworkers sent me a link to the website. No warning, no explanation. I noped out very confused. Saw your video the next day or day after that, then went OOOHHHHHHH as I promptly remembered this coworker and I bonded over Mandela Catalog. XD Friggin' everything makes sense now, and I'm just over here going duh du jours. XD (Also, I drew Wally today. XD It was fun, but his hair was hard. XD)
One thing you gotta remember is home can lock Wally in without Wally being able to get out. Home also controls everything that is apart of him. This being because home is alive. My theory is that Wally might actually be seeking help or someone to speak to that’s not home, most likely because home has trapped Wally in and now he’s getting driven to insanity from no communication, therefore Wally is 100 not well and wants out of whatever is keeping him. . . . But hey, that’s just a theory. A GAME THEORY (I don’t think its even a game but oh well Matt pats gonna come for my soul.)
16:19 If you translate Home’s creaks into Morse code, it reads as I DO So Home does indeed answer Wally’s question. Perhaps Wally’s answer helps tell a different story…
Ive seen lots of videos about welcome home and alotta them questions "Is wally a villain or victim"? Here's what I think:Wally is...Both.He's both a victim and a villain.I don't know how but he's harming people but also is getting harmed.
I just came off the website, I inspected all the drawings that wall made from the guest book. They ALL have a hidden message in them..all of them. You can even highlight or delete the censored ones, even the ones that Wally scribbled all over.
I think Wally attempted a dark ritual but didn't finish it causing a portal to heck to open below house and draw his friends in leaving him and house because the demon wants them to finish summoning them, but instead he is trying to gather human sacrifices to barter for his friends back.
I think Home is some sort of demonic entity or weird eldritch god that’s able to exist within different forms of media. Maybe he’s controlling not only Wally and the other neighbors, but also the WHRP, forcing them to restore “Welcome Home” for a newer audience. I also think that all of the residents, including Wally, were originally ordinary people that existed in real life. When I read through the different character bios on the neighborhood page, just something about each of their stories felt too… real to be some silly and simple backstory for a character in a kid’s TV show? Idk, they just felt kinda off to me lol
This is extremely fascinating! Even tho it may seem like either Home or Wally is controlling this show, their dynamic is something we can't ignore. Home is Wally's house. Anything that would be kept secret from us must be inside Home or beneath him. Below the house we can find that image of Wally sitting on his knees and reaching out towards Home. This is interesting as this is one of the only times we see Wally facing away from the camera. Perhaps Home is more than we all think. Maybe Home is the literal heart if the town. Think about it. Home has a heart shape on the bottom of his structure, (which we can see on the main welcome page), it is located at the center of the town, AND he is Wally's house. The puppet master. I have a feeling that Home is gonna be very important, whether Home is a victim of Wally or a helper, it's important somehow.
As a kitchen cabinet, I can confirm. We are 100% sound proof For humans anyway, feel free to test that by locking your sibilings in a kitchen cabinet 😃
Reading the other comments I came up with a theory: So knowing that Wally eats with only his eyes I feel like this kind of goes with the rest of the characters, who perhaps may also only eat with their eyes. For when they are shown on TVs or websites they can see the viewers and feel them. For that reason, I feel like Wally and the rest of the puppets are sentient in which they are able to have emotions and know what it is like to be alive. Therefore, having these cravings of hunger and wanting to eat like a normal person, it caused many of the characters to compete to stay alive by wanting more viewers to watch only them. I also think Wally knew this idea and decided to get rid of the competition by killing off the rest of the puppets by a gruesome way and turning them into furniture like Barnaby. This way he could keep his “friends” with him forever, but still stay alive. That’s why I also think home is alive because all the puppets are placed inside home as if it was created like a being or some freak Frankenstein. I also feel Wally didn’t want to kill off the puppets, but because of his curse of having emotions like a human he desires the attention from others and lures others to devour. Wally also seems to have regretted removing some of his friends because he keeps stating in a few parts of the website that he is lonely, but then in other parts he states more creepy messages of wanting to feel and see others to come home. In a way it feels like he feels empty and wants to complete something more. This could also mean that to let “home” stay alive he must continue getting more viewers and eat them, so he doesn’t lose the one connection left of his friends. Or maybe it’s more like the puppets that are dead still feel the emotions like before, but are trapped as home; therefore, they still can watch and communicate with Wally, but ultimately they are stuck. In a few images of home we see it is crying with black lines from his eyes. Which gives me the sense that it doesn’t like the state it’s in. Also in the script where it states that Wally is happier outside of home when painting, it shows that Wally regrets the making of home and being there makes him uncomfortable, but he continues on because it’s his last connection to his sad massacre of his friends. It’s like a dilemma on right and wrong from living. Idk
Genuine question in one comments asks Wally to show them a clown and in the response he said something along the lines of "I do not know what a clown is. I asked Frank he said Barnaby." This suggests that some characters are still around right? What do you think?
I think I still would love to know more about Home and Wally’s relationship. Maybe Wally being in the forefront is done on purpose to keep Home out of any kind of blame. And as someone else pointed out, Home is the only house that is animated and is alive.
so your theory that everyone is missing could be true... i have a feeling that sally is missing due to Wally's answer in the guestbook, he was wondering if they were the same person, but said to another one with the same name as another charater that he was going to tell on them... so maybe?
10:07 Yeah, I think Wally is lonely, Something happened, Something bad, That either Removed or Killed all of Wally's Friend's, And Home is the one "Pulling the String's" Wally is Self Aware, And he is likely Trapped, In his voice, He sound's like he is Tired and Sad, I like Wally, So honestly... @@Kedero9 Dw about it. From what I've seen, a lot of people in fandoms typically are neurodivergent (I could be wrong, I haven't been in many) and, as far as I'm aware, the official Welcome Home hasn't had very much character development so it's up to the fandom to decide how they act. Clearly there may be some overlap and there's probably some more psychology to it too but idk
I really feel like this all has to do with hypnotism, there are swirls indicating the hypnotism. There are demands like "you will..." And major eye contact also indicating hypnotism.
While I do have my own thoughts of course I love this theory Remgames! is amazing how much you’ve uncovered and the community despite the arg being very new. I’m excited for more theories and what will happen next! It was amazing! 🎉
Wally is trying to “Other Mother” us. Instead of the door, he’s using our tv. The other characters are the button-eyed kids who fell victim to him already and are now used in the same way the Other neighbors and friends are used. The show is our perfect world he’s made just for us. Home is our Other Wybie and the black cat; it’s trying to communicate with us and help but is also at the mercy of Wally. The Other Mother wanted to sew buttons over the eyes, windows of the soul, to possess our soles. Wally is doing the same, without the buttons
To add onto the theory... as Nightmind pointed out; in the restored concept art/piece of Home, two versions of Home look as if they're crying. And being forced into a form where you can't speak or move would be a a pretty good reason to cry. Further supporting the idea that Home might actually be a victim instead of the true villain...
I forgot how to get there, but there is an image of the rotary phone toy with tape over some numbers. I think it may have been one of the combos of the hidden letters placed link the web address.
I personally think that Wally's friends and neighbours died, and Wally is trying his best to bring them back, hence the "I made a dog" post and the one where he is carrying Eddy. I think the reason he smiles and stares all the time is because he was so upset and traumatized, he's lost all emotions and all he can do is stare. I also think Home might be the one with the real control, and Wally is constantly reaching out for help, or Wally really is in control and is going all FNAF and luring us to the neighbourhood to put us inside his friend's puppet bodies. To bring them "back" to life.
I feel like Wally being the baddie is too obvious, and I just don't get the evil vibe from him. I do from Home though. I do agree Wally can be creepy at times but that doesn't automatically mean he's bad
The thing you mentioned about the audio, how Wally "joyfully" sang the song, and he "brushed off" how he couldn't understand Home You do realize that that's how Wally normally speaks. He doesn't speak with emotions in his voice, so the "joy" isn't there, and he's not brushing anything off, he doesn't speak like that
I actually think the house is a kind of demon controlling Wally. In my opinion, Wally doesn't happy while singing. For me, he seems nervous. Also, probably house created Barnaby using Wally. Wally is too cute to be evil :(( just kidding he might not be controlled by house and actually help it from free will, but I think that house forces him.
Because of this video, I had a small theory, All of Wally's 'Neighbours' are an amalgamation merged into the house, basically all of Wally's friends are one being, HOME, maybe some images found of Wally carrying some of his friends is him somehow forcing their spirits into HOME, or perhaps HOME is a group of Wally's friends he got rid of for being 'not very neighbourly like' and images of Wally carrying corpses of Barnaby for example are images of Wally constructing his New group of friends.
It sort of reframed the "Can you see me? Then be quiet" for me. Rather than him warning us about some other entity, he's warning us not to spill secrets we've uncovered.
yeah, I just saw Insidious, and it made me think of The Further and staying quiet there

I gotta say, I don’t think Wally is the villain. I think it’s Home.
Why?
I agree. Maybe he’s desperate for help. 😥
@Mr Clean I think I know which one image you mean, the one with 3 drawings of home? If so I think those were just concept art for Home’s design. There are also a few other concept art for the other characters.
Home probably didn’t even exist at the time they made that art and also I’m
pretty sure those are eyelashes. Even the first one you can see they did too lashes instead of bottom.
It's home my friend. Home slapped me at the back of the head and then I fell down a flight of stairs
@@RemGames maybe home can poses Wally in some way.

Edit: no it wasn't Wally I just clicked on the picture of X's and ?'s on it and Wally said "why are you fibbing you are not here I don't see you please don't lie to me" it's just someone acting as Wally.
Wally may actually be in control at times. I think Home punishes Wally at some point for leaking too much
This feels like game theory
Or superhorrorbro
Maybe Wally isn't evil, maybe he's just trying to stay alive.
thats a good theory!

He literally said it in the video though.
That’s a good point.
Thanks
Good Question! We believe that Wally is controlling the site through his messages. If the WHRP are not purposefully hiding their text and creating strange orientation errors, than something else has to be doing it. All of these secrets involve Wally in one way or another, with one of them being Wally talking to us directly, and two of them heavily implying it. So if the WHRP are not creating these website errors, and most of them lead to Wally with him talking to the viewer directly, then somehow Wally (or someone associated with him) is influencing this website to create these secrets
@@RemGames You are correct about me controlling the site and I’m not hiding anything…
that's what i have been trying to do, Find the Studio, but idk where it is, if Only Wally gave us a Sign of where it is, anybody Agree with me?
The whole “Wally” “WaLLy” thing is a huge point to your theory. They seem to be conversing with each other.
@sisterrose I agree
@@Jessica18010 There is that one pic on clowns welcome home page of Barnaby with his head gone, so maybe

I like when RemGames said “It’s RemGaming time” and RemGamed all over the place
That was my favorite part too!
This has actually convinced me of Wally being more sinister
Maybe Wally killed all his friends to gain sentience maybe to see if he was really in a show or not but with Wally trying to rebuild his friends it seems like he feels guilt about how his friends died and wants to use us the viewer to bring them back.
Idk at times it seems like he is a villain and other times where it seems like he’s a victim trapped in home. Maybe he has split personality or an alter ego. He can’t seem to remember his friends but is so invested to bring them back, he just seems kinda different from his puppet self
Maybe he sacrificed them to home
@@Canev821that could explain the blood🤷♀️

● On the 6th page, there is a message from Nosipho that talks about memory, in which Wally scribbles it out in red, and the file reaponse reads "No memory"
● A little further ways down on the 6th page, there is a message from Elliott that is talking about it being a fun, whimsical website and saying they will fetch treats for the neighbors, to which Wally draws an X in a box over it, and the file response reads "I can't reach them. I'm sorry"
● One other that I found back on the earlier pages was a message asking Wally why he makes eye contact, Wally responds by drawing a big, multicolor spiral over top of it and the file reaponse reads "So you will know I am looking at you neighbor. I am talking to you"
I just find these fun to go through
Things I'd like to point out
Idk
Ps.

2nd part was posted right when i finished watching the 1st, the timing!
Damn! That’s some good timing!
Based on what we’ve seen so far, I think that Wally is trapped inside of Home.
As mentioned in the last video, based on the signatures left at the end of the guestbook, we know that each color is associated with one of the characters (like red for Wally, pink for Susie)
We know that Wally and Susie played a game of tik-tak-toe at some point, but then we see an empty tik-tak-toe board with only Wally as the player.
It seems home is also in on these schemes, home might be a prisoner, or monster that is stuck here suffering an endless hell.
ive pretty much watched all the welcome home theorys i can find, and you just so happen to post! you're a life saver man!
This is a really interesting theory! I wonder where the story will go next?
"So if you hear the phone ringing, don't answer"
*Ad about phone plays*
NO WAY! THAT’S AMAZING!!
I've been cruising UA-cam for people talking about this ARG to hear other's thoughts & come up with my own theory. This is what I have so far on what I've labeled 'Demonic Cult Theory'
I think Wally is a demon or even Lucifer himself & a cult leader/mouthpiece for whatever is laying underneath this technicolor children's series.
If Wally is the villain, then maybe home is a victim. Perhaps even bought to life by what was left of other members of the show.
I'm so glad someone else picked up on the Barnaby and Wally drawing of the "made a dog" thing!
Also, I'm gonna pick up the phone because I'm sure that the precious neighborhood over there would be way better than the actual life we have as long as I can bring two or so people with me
What an absolutely fascinating project Clown has here. ARGs are already cool, but one with this much great art and character design? Bravo.
Thank you for gracing us with such beautiful cinematography, truly Devine.
An American singer-songwriter Helen Lightner points out,
“This sentimental ballad is folk-like in character with its repetitious but lovely melody and its basic harmonic accompaniment… The quiet and calm of this mood is portrayed by the monotony of the arpeggiated accompaniment, by the repetitiveness of the melodic pattern, and by the strophic form itself.”
Idk if this was actually needed or mattered in the ARG but I think this points out something...
sorry if I had bad grammar lol
but hear me out: what if someone is lurking us into thinking that Wally is the bad guy?
My thoughts to i do think you could be right
But he's so silly I forgive him
(,,for now)
11:23 NOT WALLY BEING LIKE "you wanna be more than friends then hit me up bbg" LMFAO
AYO CHILL OUTTT 😭
Wally is in love with the viewer lol but you still gotta relax 💀
i am so glad your doing videos on this ARG, i feel like it hasnt had much attention, but seriously, thanks.
Thank YOU for watching them!
A GAME THEORY (I don’t think its even a game but oh well Matt pats gonna come for my soul.)
has anyone else noticed that wally is like the only one without a nose? makes him look uncanny
16:19 If you translate Home’s creaks into Morse code, it reads as I DO
So Home does indeed answer Wally’s question.
I think Home is the ultimate bad guy, and that Wally is a prisoner
Great theory, as always!! Loving the series you are covering and all of the effort you put behind you work! Thank you! :D
Me when I can't catch the channels I'm subbed to but I'm early to a channel I just found 💀
FINALLY A VIDEO WITH NEW INFORMATION AND GREAT THEORIES!!!!!!!!!!! my jaw dropped several times while i was watching this. you really killed it :))))
I loved your Welcome Home theories 💖💖💖
We are 100% sound proof
For humans anyway, feel free to test that by locking your sibilings in a kitchen cabinet 😃
Reading the other comments I came up with a theory:
So knowing that Wally eats with only his eyes I feel like this kind of goes with the rest of the characters, who perhaps may also only eat with their eyes.
Idk
Yoo, i'm surprisingly early! Been watching most of the video's since DHMIS theories, this so far is my favorite!
Thank you so much!
Plot twist it’s Wally himself trying to restore his own show
Genuine question in one comments asks Wally to show them a clown and in the response he said something along the lines of "I do not know what a clown is. I asked Frank he said Barnaby." This suggests that some characters are still around right? What do you think?
I think I still would love to know more about Home and Wally’s relationship. Maybe Wally being in the forefront is done on purpose to keep Home out of any kind of blame. And as someone else pointed out, Home is the only house that is animated and is alive.
so your theory that everyone is missing could be true... i have a feeling that sally is missing due to Wally's answer in the guestbook, he was wondering if they were the same person, but said to another one with the same name as another charater that he was going to tell on them... so maybe?
10:07
Yeah, I think Wally is lonely,
Something happened, Something bad,
That either Removed or Killed all
of Wally's Friend's, And Home is
the one "Pulling the String's" Wally
is Self Aware, And he is
likely Trapped, In his voice,
He sound's like he is Tired and Sad,
I like Wally, So honestly...
Poor Wally, We are his best Friend,
Because his other Friend's are gone,
And he want's to get away from Home,
That's my Theory, And I can kinda
Relate to Wally, Again... Poor Wally...
I feel bad for him...
Remember to respect Welcome Home's creator, everyone! Just a friendly reminder that they're stressed rn and boundaries are important :)
Can mom-autistic people and adhd people or whoever be in the community?
@@Kedero9
Of course they can! I'm actually autistic too :D
@@studybread2.0 Oh ok…cus mostly the charters are autistic and because I didn’t know wether or not the community was targeting or attracting a certain audience…I’m sorry if I came off as rude or weird, cringe I have adhd or at-least I used to sorry…thank you sm I was afraid to ask..
@@Kedero9
Dw about it.
The DHMIS terms honesty really cleared it up for me
While I do have my own thoughts of course I love this theory Remgames! is amazing how much you’ve uncovered and the community despite the arg being very new.
I've been waiting! Nice theory😃
(By the way first 1# but we're not going to talk about that)
I feel like home is not just forced to listen but forced to STAY. The fact that home bleeds blood makes it even more questionable
I was waiting for this vid
I gotta say that while I wasn't convinced by your previous theory, the evidence for Wally being sinister is definitely more solid in this one.
I feel like Wally being the baddie is too obvious, and I just don't get the evil vibe from him. I do from Home though. I do agree Wally can be creepy at times but that doesn't automatically mean he's bad
You most certainly have the MatPat cadence on point.

@@drakegears I checked the channel just like that and saw a new video posted after 46 seconds-
IT IS ILLEGAL, PUT YOUR HANDS UP THIS IS THE EARLY POLICE!!!
@@jhv9886 NAH YOU AINT GETTIN ME NOW! NOT AFTER EVERYTHING IVE BEEN THROUGH!
Yk what else is illegal? Spelling the word wrong.
The thing you mentioned about the audio, how Wally "joyfully" sang the song, and he "brushed off" how he couldn't understand Home
You do realize that that's how Wally normally speaks.
We could always think about it as wally and home is working together trying to make their friends once more with one another
Because of this video, I had a small theory, All of Wally's 'Neighbours' are an amalgamation merged into the house, basically all of Wally's friends are one being, HOME, maybe some images found of Wally carrying some of his friends is him somehow forcing their spirits into HOME, or perhaps HOME is a group of Wally's friends he got rid of for being 'not very neighbourly like' and images of Wally carrying corpses of Barnaby for example are images of Wally constructing his New group of friends.
