My luck with this event has been amazing! I've gotten shiny Guzzlord and Nihilego from the research, a shiny Kartana from raids and a hundo kartana with the background
Lmao I was in that twitch stream where that person said that when Frankie was battling, I was like “ummm who gives a shit if he is? They’re both goats”
This makes me feel super lucky to get 2 background cards and 2 shiny nihilego in 4 raids and both shiny nihilego are great attackers 96% and 94% were nice
I got 96% shiny Celesteela! I got 3 Shiny Necrozmas, shiny Buzzole, and shiny Guzzlord! I did also get a few background cards with Kartana and Necrozma!
I was able to get a shiny Buzzwole from the Timed Research. That's two less Ultra Beasts to worry about since I got the Guzzlord from a raid during the Halloween event last year.
So far I’ve managed to get at least one background card with each Ultra Beast but so far no shinies with it, fingers crossed I can get a shiny with the background card! I did get really lucky with the special research and got a shiny 98 Xurkitree and during Guzzlord raid hour I got my second one ever legendary hundo!
I got a shiny nihilego during its raid hour from a friend who’s in a different time zone so he invited me and I got it. Terrible IVs. No background card. Then I did kartana raid hour. No shiny for me, but my cousin got me a shiny kartana so I’m giving him one of my shiny rayquaza for it. Can’t wait for GO Fest (NEED SHINY XURKITREE)

Day 1 i got some raids got a 96 pheromosa and a guzzlord with the bg. Completed my ultra beast living dex and did a trade for poipole and got shiny pikachu with the moon crown. The whole jt and frank thing was funny
I heavily did the nihilego raids but didn’t get a shiny but my brother got hundo so he traded me his shiny because we were lucky for a Groupon and his shiny nihilego had a background so yay!
Do you think the odds for getting a background card interfered with shiny rates? ProPlanty has been raiding all week for the background cards and didn't get any shinies.
Bro me and my friends have gone out for all the raid hours so far and between the like 58 of them we have done all together none of us got either a background card and we only got 2 shinys

Didn't get a single shiny ultra in NYC or the raids this week so far...but then I get 2 out of the research encounters. (Guzzlord and Kartana) 😅
