Excellent video Ben! A few corrections if I may. The initiative card is not passed to the opposing player when a side chooses to discard cards when he passes his turn. A player need not possess the Initiative card to be able to discard at all as it does not enter into this choice by the player. Also, the discard pile is played face up so anyone can see the top card. In fact, any player may view all the cards in either discard pile at any time. Also, the marker on the casualty tack is the Surrender marker, not the Sudden Death marker. The Sudden Death marker, as you later correctly state, is located and used on the Time Track portion of the display. Again very well done video that will help many new players learn this awesome game!
Absolutely fantastic! Thank you Ben for basically teaching me how to play the game. I have a hard time rule reading and learning that way, with your tutorials here it’s a breeze. So we’ll put together and easy to understand. Much obliged sir!
Another great video, Ben. I can’t be.ieve I am only now discovering your awesome tutorials. I’m sending this one out to everyone before I teach them the game. Things will go so much faster!
Great tutorial, as always. Do you really pass the initiative card to the opponent when choosing to pass instead or giving orders? Can’t find such a rule in the latest rulebook.
Correction: at 22:45, I don't believe you advance the time marker *another* space if the drawn number is higher than the Time Marker. That would mean you advanced the Time marker twice.
They're out of print. GMT has a P500 Initiative that reprints games with enough orders (500) for a print run. Pacific looks like it's a little over half way there. New Guinea has a ways to go. Damn... had to put this video on 1.5 speed.. otherwise I could not watch it. The guy just speaks too damn slow. But good video though. It really taught me to play :)
I am always amused howe different we human beings experience understanding and learning differently. Looks like the tempo is just perfect for the vast majority of viewers.
This is a really good video - thorough and well written. But... for the love of God... why do you randomly put hard emphasis on random words every sentence?! Its crazy hard for me to pay attention to what you are saying because of the way you are saying it.
I wonder what you are talking about. Emphasis is such a basic skill/technique in speeches He is using it with perfection. He doesn't emphasize anything randomly. His emphasis technique is one (!) of the reasons the vast (nearly everybody?) majority of viewers enjoy these films.
With this level of production and the quality of your rules explanations, it is amazing that your channel doesn't get more views.
Excellent video Ben!

Why is the pacific box and expansion impossible to get ?

Because they were bought quickly by players enjoying Combat Command Europe. Quality sells fast.
Insta thumb for Excalibur themed opening. Props.
