Tried this last night using my own rub and an adobo sauce that my wife made, and it's quite possibly the best BBQ I have smoked in nearly 15 years of smoking BBQ. I was shocked at how fast it cooks, too. Once you wrap the pork shoulders, the rest of the cook happens FAST.

We don't have "pulled pork" in the Carolinas! It's bbq! We may argue about which sauce is best but still bbq not pulled pork. Pulled pork has a sweet sauce not tangy awesomeness that is Carolina style bbq aka real authentic bbq 😁
