The Hot Fudge Show was directed by Robert Elnicky. This talented man created every puppet used on set and voiced a lot of them, he had no idea how to do it before hand, he just sat there and did it. How do i know all this? Well, I'm Robert's proud grandson, Henry Paul!
I just now realized that hot fudge was that many years ago in 1974. I was seven years old, this is completely unbelievable as far as time is concerned.
So clocks and calendars are a no-go in your daily life? I guess as an EMT I gauge time a bit differently than others. My day usually starts when someone else's ends. And I doubt they cared about time and space when it happened. Lots of gargling and screams, not a whole bunch of reflection at the point of expiration. Get your ticker checked and a PAD scan, at your age you're probably closer to death's door than you'd like to know. Nobody gets out alive, but checking out early has to suck. Just hope to go fast if you gotta go, the ones that hang on and go in and out after weeks in an ICU or CCU really freak me out. All that effort and the resources for nothing, it dents the soul after a while.
@@genefogarty5395 my neighbor was 82. I met him at 78. He was lean and fit then the plandemic hit. 2 years of that wonderful scam and when I saw him again he was fat with bad edema. Not long after that he blew his brains out. His wife now alone and in debt moved to a home. Was a nice guy the few times we talked. Dunno what my point was...
Wow. This takes me back! Our local independent channel WFAT out of Johnstown used to air these in the early to mid 80's. I remember it used to come on right after He Man and the Masters of the Universe.
WOW!!! WHAT AN AWESOME SHARE!! This was on the Saturday morning lineup, along with The Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Show!! CBS. CHANNEL 4, IN S Florida.
HOT FUDGE!!!!!! thank you for this - i haven’t seen or heard about this show in years! the guy that sings during the show has a very distinctive voice and i’d hear him singing in commercials years after the show ended.
Any time Arte Johnson works I love it, a truly unsung comedy genius. Enjoyed an industry film for one the huge kitchen appliance corps he did with Judy Carne during the Laugh-In days. I'm not from Chicago so never heard of this show but it's nicely put together. Say Hey!
The animated message screens are absolutely amazing for the era. I used to remember how that was done, but the technique escapes me. I'm thinking something along the lines of: the light is going through polarizing lenses, or lights from different directions are triggered in sequence. The bottom line is that there is no actual motion on the signage, and the effect is entirely 'in camera.'
I've never heard of The Hot Fudge Show and I should have since I grew up in the Chicago area and we had those tv stations that it was on. I also was a kid during that time period. Anyway, just wanted to say that Chocolate Chip was a very cute name for that little girl's horse! Looks a lot like a horse I rode at summer camp named Apple. ❤
Wow I would have been 9 when this came on but I don't remember it at all. I was in NYC -- was it on in the early mornings? We weren't allowed to watch TV in the AM
Does anyone remember a (Christian?) kids' show called Hot Fudge Sunday? It started out with a cartoon of a hot fudge sundae being assembled, and ended with a cartoon of the sundae being disassembled

I'm not Henry's mom, but I'm his aunt and Henry speaks the truth❤
Stay away from me. Stay away from my channel, you make me uncomfortable

This was a staple on WXYZ Channel 7 in Detroit on weekend mornings for years. Even in reruns into the 1980's and 1990's. Brings back great memories.
Hot fudge, right on
I just now realized that hot fudge was that many years ago in 1974. I was seven years old, this is completely unbelievable as far as time is concerned.
😅
No I think that makes sense

Larry Santos, who was the musical director and sang the Hot Fudge theme, took over as host after Arte Johnson left
I liked Larry a lot. He reminded me of Jim Henson.
@@timepoet77 He also wrote the Four Seasons song "Candy Girl"
I used to watch this sitting in my mom and step-dad's beer joint on Saturday morning when i was 9 and 10 years old. Lol😂thanks for posting ❤
Daaaamnn!! Totally forgot this, but you gave me instant and total recall!!😂

This aired on early morning WXYZ weekend TV in Detroit well into the 1990s, long after it stopped selling in syndication.
Sort of like "Gigglesnort Hotel" on WLS.
Yep. Indeed.

This aired in central Florida, but I don’t know what channel it was on. I think the Buggaloos played after or before.
No wayyyy!! My dad used to turn this on for us at like 7 am in 1984 to keep us quiet til 8 or so.
Seymore was my favorite character.

I realize that WSBK in Boston aired this show, but Why do I keep thinking WCVB might’ve aired it at some time.
I'm from Boston. I thought it was on WCVB.
I from Cambridge, I remember this being on Channel 56, during the early ‘80s
In season 2, musician Larry Santos replaced Artie Johnson as host.
I would love if you could find some Fred Flintstone and Friends episodes.
Someone else on UA-cam reposted your original upload in parts, and they say this is the pilot.
Cool show!!
oh shit, i definitely remember this. i was 6 in 1974 and would have watched it on whatever channel out of boston
We're gonna hot fudge you? Uhhhhh....Okay.. LOL

I'd rather be hot fudged than slimed. Looking at you, Nickelodeon.
Yeah, I spent several days in the hospital to have my anus repaired. I got hot fudged.

Was this show cleared in Cleveland, Youngstown or Toledo markets?
I recall that WEWS cleared "Hot Fudge" in the Cleveland area.
Lost media soon to be 50 years old next year.
Mona kinda looks like Ana Faris on 'Mom.' 😆
Does anyone know if KABC in Los Angeles aired this?
Very 1970s
