Super Mario RPG vs Earthbound

Who will win a head to head fight?! Make your predictions before you watch.
I used the formulas from the games to calculate the damages done. Speed determines the turn order. I know Earthbound has variable speed for turn orders and damage for psi attacks, but I just used the base speed and damage averages. Mario RPG maxes out at level 30, but I extrapolated their stats to see what they would be at level 99 in order to have an equal fight.
I had Earthbound win because they are a lot faster than Mario RPG and can use PSI Rockin & Starstorm to mostly win the game in the first round, they can even equip the Rabbit’s Foot to make them even faster . The Shield is also very powerful and hard for Mario RPG to deal with. Also the rolling HP meter is very helpful. This isn’t a very lopsided fight though, if Earthbound makes a few mistakes or suboptimal choices then Mario RPG can definitely win. But overall I think that Earthbound would win more often than not.
I know I didn’t play this match up perfectly, like I only used Shield Σ instead of Shield Ω, and didn’t have Mario do 100 jumps. I did this to make the match longer and to show more of the characters abilities and to also make it more watchable. I had Toadstool try to run because she can’t be killed in a single round if she does perfect blocks on physical attacks. Then she can heal herself and you just repeat this until someone runs out of PSI/FP or makes a mistake. You can have Paula and Poo drain her FP until she is out to ensure the win for Earthbound.

The fact that Earthbound Characters just dont die inmediatly carries so hard in these fights. Yeah, they are strong af, but without stalling, they just can keep kicking

No revives? Would be WAY closer of a match than how showed here. If their hp went down at same rate, could’ve easily been other way. In EB, enemies don’t decrease hp that way. Either way, very entertaining!

This was bs. Peach trying to run? Definitely done on purpose. Mario could’ve killed Paula, and you could’ve used pick me ups to revive your allies. Plus, I forget the name of the item, but it heals everyone to max hp. This fight was a joke.

Also, Mario rpg group could’ve just not attacked and waited for dmg to sink in and kill earthbound team. This was such a rigged fight.
