7:11 You can actually (mostly) disable ESP by putting it into maintenance mode via the pedal dance. I used to do it often when goofing around in snow covered parking lots. However I'm not entirely sure how/if it'll effect other systems like battery management.
@echnik 7:00 "ESP" (what Toyota called "vehicle-dynamics integrated management" VDIM) is a predictive system. More advanced than just regular ESP. That's why it goes crazy here, it thinks the car is going to skid. At 8:00 VDIM reacted not only when the car skidded but also if it was likely to skid. 8:18 it again thought vehicle was going to skid.
