The reason the road is as bad as it is is because people drive it way to fast. When towing my boat in, and the road is rough like that, it's an hour in and out. 5-6 MPH. The lake isn't going anywhere, slow down and help preserve the road. If everyone would use 4 High on a 4WD when towing uphill, instead of spinning the rear tires, the washboard would not be as bad.
