Its so weird that the auto subs for players end up controlling a whole different aspect of gameplay. The hidden settings in this game and madden too make me question what they are really doing over there at EA
Ya it’s no secret that their code has turned into a monster as they have just been inheriting the code base for like a decade now. Their games are fundamentally broken and never won’t be unless they’re forced to redesign it by a competitor
THANK YOU! My 95 ovr defense can suddenly play football again! CPU Qb Accuracy was also a nice switch. Good QBs are still 70+ completion %.
Glad I’m not the only one, 90 overall defense giving up 40 to 80 overall programs. Immediately knew sliders needed to be adjusted
10:29..I am getting an INSANE amount of Interceptions on All American. Hopefully these sliders will help with that. Could I adjust this for All American too or no??

well last game combined was 11 sacks and 7 ints, yes seems like alot but sometimes it happens.... couple of the sacks where from safety blitzes, now i will say the INTs are alil high tho, my team threw 3 and they threw 4, but last game i only had 1 and the other team had 2 so it varies, Not i will add this last game there was also alot of passing, so that may have added to the ints, both qbs were 61 percent,
I may lower INT 5 points, but idk, none of that tho bugged me as much as how sometimes the teams seem unstoppable in the 4th, i get it comebacks happen, but wow im oregon and we are playing colorado post sanders players and hunter, cause im in season 2,
but we were up 29-17 with 3 mins left and lost 37-29 they had 3 tds in 3 minutes, granted one was a pick 6 but still come on, ha,

Idk what happened but these sliders were playing great. All of a sudden, they’re broken again for passing.
I just played NIU who has a 76 QB in my dynasty. They went turbo all game air raid. It’s broken.
I won 66-48. Their QB threw for 708 yards on 60 attempts with 75% completions 6 TDs 1 INT. (I user INT the one pick).
Dudes were wide open all game long. I also had 9 sacks which is the most I’ve ever had in a game by nearly double.

I only won bc of the user pick along with a PR and KR for TDs

8:17 this is one of the most annoying things in the game. I’ve noticed anytime you have the CPU at 4th and 10 or over it would run into the kicker and extend their drive. Resulting in them scoring points after you stopped them initially.

Have you tried/tested pass defense reaction time and pass coverage both at 100 for both player and CPU? I run full sim so I just watch my games and purely play the game from a coaches perspective. Just curious if you have any tips for this?

Holy shit my 94 overall defense is finally not getting bent over backwards by ball fucking state
I turned down interceptions for both to 25 and bumped cpu run blocking to 60. Plays even better. No way LB’s should be able to break off coverage and pick a pass off that was going to guy behind them. The interceptions were insane and CPU got zero yards rushing.
Update: Played 2 games with these settings on AA with the adjustment to Int's to 25 and CPU run blocking up to 60. Also put OL sub out at 50. Game 1 was #1 vs #2 Me (Miami) at Clemson. (I'm in year 3 and both team 90 overall) It played beautifully. 10-6 at the half with 1 turnover a piece. End of third 17-17. End of Game I won after holding them to 4th and 1, got ball back with 1:47 left and had to drive up the field to kick game winner 27-24. A total of 5 sacks between teams, 2 turnovers. Clem had 64 yards rushing and 316 passing on 71% (CPU had been rushing for about 10 yards a game until change). I had 247 passing on 70% and 164 rushing on 5.4 a carry. I run a lot of option out of 2 back gun with 2 backs with 87 and 90 overall. Next game I played a weaker NC ST (84 overall) and much the same as far as turnovers and sacks, 2 total turnovers and 6 sacks. They had 278 total yards with 88 on the ground. I had 435 yards with 198 on the ground. Final score 31-10.
I’m just a dynasty guy but the new sliders definitely make the gameplay so much better and enjoyable. Thxs sim dude😊

When these sliders first came out, they were the best I've ever played with. After the patch and changes, it seems it's become too easy. Might be because I've adjusted to playing the game. Sliders felt like trying to complete a Veteran/Legendary section of a game in one try, you had to be perfect or you were taking the L. It also seems like the CPU used to "cheat" (actually enjoyed it) but doesn't anymore?
Patches do that. I'm working on an update. Streamed it last night. When was the last time you did a profile delete?
@@SimGamingNetwork Haven't deleted profile recently. I think the problem stems from pursuit angles being too good after the patch, pass coverage also seems to be too good, the CPU isn't as much of a threat anymore.
I’ve been using your sliders for a while, excited to try these out. I will say I’ve seen plenty of kickers miss both in my vandy and emu rebuild on Heisman. Northern Illinois missed a 34 yarder last night lol
I put CPU and player fg and punt accuracy on 38. It makes it way more tough to make a crucial kick or punt and the CPU will miss like they do in real life , here n there, you never know.

Will tell you how they work for me - only played one game so far, very little in the way of pass rush, they barely missed any passes. Was held scoreless in the first and third quarters, but won 27-14. I was Florida, playing at home against Texas A&M. This was on Varsity, so after 5 games I will probably bump it up to the next level.
Have found a lot of success running and the short passing game. They eventually start blitzing which opens up the medium to long passing game.
Pass accuracy is an issue, unfortunately... All QBs are crazy accurate..
@@SimGamingNetwork it's time for a update slider video and its sad cause you did such a great job but once again they do a update ...patch whatever you want to call it and it changes the game. It went from challenging thrilling game play to now it's too easy
I would recommend one thing. Change run block to 0 because it’s extremely easy running out of the shotgun package. I still ran for 100+ yards but I felt it wasn’t as easy.

No. Don't change the run blocking. The are other options. But don't change the gameplay sliders
What can you do to make your run blocking worse. I’ve ran for aroind 200 yards every game with an average o-line

Been playing on all american and the run game has just been too strong for User and CPU. It’s not because of poor tackling, but because no one can shed blocks. Anything I can change?

How long do your games usually take? I’m using northwestern and I’m going to huddle in game so 30-45min games?
I used these last night for AA and they were so great. Really changed the feeling of the game. Seems like this morning though, after the update, CPU running inside zone 1st and 2nd down for every team no matter the score. Also feels like offense and punt return is set to easy mode now.
Do a reset. Delete your profile. Close app. Then restart the game. Then in your dynasty go to sliders.. Click reset. Then import. Then apply the penalty sliders

Just 1 question. I play CPU versus CPU and these work like a champ if I wanted to improve the run game just a tad without messing with the offensive or defensive lineman auto subs. Can I lower the half back auto sub to make him more aggressive by chance? I know you said don’t touch these, but I don’t know how to do it without messing with the lineman’s auto subs

Using these sliders for CPU v CPU and they work great. Will be using them for coach mode next.
First game using these sliders in coach mode was good. Stats and gameplay were realistic.

Have you found a proper way to fix press coverage? Both user and cpu for me get burned horribly on press with elite corners even vs mediocre receivers.

Holy Cow!! What a difference in gameplay with these “recommended settings” for this major patch drop.
Computer QB isn’t “Dan Marino” with crazy accuracy and is actually playing to his strengths and the time of possession is very accurate on both sides.
The game play numbers make sense, like its a real game.

Played through a whole regular season with zero injuries that carried over to the next game. Curious if this is the norm.
You could slowly increase them. But I do know when you go too high the injuries do get crazy

Ok im pretty sure the update did something I've erased profile at least 3 times I even started my dynasty over but every since the uodate there are way to many defensive offside calls and no offensive, running Game for PC is ridiculous (actually for human too) and both because blocking is too high and too many broken tackles I even had a low rated QB break 4 tackles for a TD does anyone else notice this?

Its sad that a game like this has to have so many sliders, to make it a fun/playable experience. If the developers and testers were doing their jobs correctly, we wouldnt need to fuss with so many slider adjustments! Its nice these are here but these shouldnt be here so we can FIX the game. The game should already be tuned, just like a new car is when you buy it. But with all this said I have a question; are all these slider settings SPECIFIC to the selected difficulty? In other words, do the sliders reset and need to be re-adjusted when you change the difficulty, or do all the slider adjustments apply across all difficulty settings? This is really stupid we have to do this. Oh know… we are not forced to do this but sounds like this is the only way to FIX the game (which apparantly doesnt fix everything but just makes the game more playable). Ugh… still not convinced to buy this. Yeah, I’m still on the fence. I mean why bother… if I buy and start a season, I’ll probably have to restart (any mode) after another patch is released. I really want to buy and try but sounds like this game is still not finished. And there’s no way I am going to subscribe to anything EA, just to get a broken trial. Back to NCAA 10 on my Vita.
How is this managed in a multi user dynasty? Does everyone have to change auto subs or is it just the owner? I had no idea it influenced cpu play

These have been good solid sliders especially the sub in and out I never thought about those..
But nothing is more frustrating then when u are up 34 17 with 8 minutes left and lose 45 34. Yepp after my pick 6 to make it 34 17... Washington drives down field scores.. Which is fine but then our next drive qb fumbles Washington scores 3 plays later... Next possession we fumble from the qb again.. Washington scores few plays later.. Then our 3rd drive we throw a pick 6... I about lost my shit.. 28 pts allowed in the last 8 minutes.. I understand it can happen in real life but it almost felt like the ai flipped some switch

I felt like kickoffs were a waste of time (I very rarely got past the 25, and the CPU would often get tackled at like the 15-20), so I bumped up kickoff power to 80 and the CPU kicks haven’t changed at all lol. At least I can always just let it bounce for a touchback, but I am just skeptical that any of the kicking stats mean much

I did have one question re: CPU run game. I’ve played almost two seasons and the CPU really struggles to run the ball against me. I’m all for Oregon having a top-tier run D, but even Michigan and Ohio State were ending with sub-50 yards rushing, and worse rushing teams were ending up in the single digits or negative. On the other hand, rushing for ME feels fine (150-200 ypg, which is a lot, but we’re a great rushing team and I tend to be run-heavy in my calls). Full context: I’m slow-simming D because I don’t really enjoy it-I’m a Ducks fan through and through. 😂 Any idea for how I could improve CPU run game moving forward? Thanks!
I basically get no injuries with these settings. Even going up to 50 I see maybe a handful in a season. How do you determine that? I would like to need to rely on roster depth occasionally instead of just running starters all year

I got to try these sliders again..something has happened to my game. I started a dynasty with Georgia just to verify…Vanderbilt score 31 points on me..something is not right. I cannot stop anybody on defense anymore. Everything I call their offense just seems to be a step ahead.

I wanna ask what you think happens when you increase the WR auto subs? I am not getting the rotation I would like, and since I throw to the slot so much my slot WR has like 6x more yards than the outside receivers lol
@@platypus536 utilize formation subs to address that. They will be less aggressive. Gameplay over rotations. And if you spam slot wrs routes because they are op... Def try throwing more to the outside wrs
Trying these out on ncaa now, I am curious to see if the heisman slider set works with all madden on the new Madden game. No one has sliders out for it at the moment and I am seeing similar issues like I did on ncaa, such as the cpu having laser accuracy
Update, I fixed the mistakes on settings and I played a game last night and dominated a crappy team as I should have
Could someone explain to me why AutoSubs affect gameplay? I’ve been using auto subs to get players in and I don’t really just want to ruin that if it’s not necessary.
it has an impact on aggression...so using them for rotation will somewhat help that, but you are impacting aggression as well....easiest way to do this...go into practice mode....run a few pass plays and don't throw...see how long it takes the defense to get to you....then go change the OL auto sub to 0/1 and then do it again..
On varsity the defense play like gods lol just don’t make sense a 99 receiver being lock down by a 80 overall corner.

Why do auto subs effect gameplay
So I JUST realized that I had set the Player and CPU Skill Sliders before I got your sliders and NEVER RESET THEM TO DEFAULT!
That's probably why I have had so many issues! I'll update you when I have a chance to play again!

I’ve played 5 games with the new sliders and they’re pretty so far, the only problems I’m noticing are the pursuit angles seem worse than V1 and the defensive awareness when the ball is in the air is bad at times but it’s inconsistent. Sometimes the safety will do their job and come across to break up a play other times they just watch the player making a catch, same thing with general catching were sometimes the corner will watch them make the catch before attempting to tackle.

Just wrapped up the first year of our new dynasty with my brother-he’s Florida, and I’m Arkansas. The sliders were perfect, with stats right in the middle of the pack. We're adding an extra minute to the quarters to get a few more plays in. He finished the season at 6-6, and I ended up 7-5 with a bowl berth. Now, if only they could fix the recruiting system, everything would be great. Thank you be updating these changes tonight

The slipscreen to the half back is incredibly over powered . The defense always runs straight to the qb instead on following the pulling guards. And the blocking upfield is always there. Do these sliders address that?

My stating halfback just dropped from an 84 to 54, and I have no idea why.
Don’t change playbook from “scheme & playbook” ….change from “edit coach”. It’s some bug that a lot of ppl are experiencing
