You could also use they since you didn't know, instead of "he/she", but that works too I guess. It is a she.

it's really cute to see her turn from pretty much just a background character based off of the doodleists own cat to turing into a full on protagonist and legend in the doodle community! aswell as the most well known character from doodles, period

Theory: Next time the ghosts come back, it will be in space. At the end of the second game, the Ghost King was launched into space by the underwater volcano. The boss fights could be things like stars, meteors, or black holes possessed by the ghosts. (If there’s a black hole it will most likely be the Ghost King) But hey, that’s just a theory. A GOOGLE THEORY!

So ... I'd say this is a valid theory for Momo's Champion Island appearance
Having defeated the ghosts @ Google's Halloween 2020 doodle, Momo decided to take a vacation & asked the mer-cat to take her "somewhere nice", having secured approval from her school and all for her heroism
As for the crane, probably he's her school's headmaster or something

I like to think that the ship Momo is in during Champion Island is the same ship from the 2nd Magic Academy game. Also that the place ghost hunt/duel game takes place in an abandoned virion of the Magic Academy sometime in the future and Momo was like a top student and an hero so she got her portrait hung up.
Everyday i dream Magic Cat Academy being released as a standalone mobile game, with actual lore and stuffs. Idc if it has microtransactions, i'd gladly play and grind it.
A game like Magic Cat Academy being a full blown Mobile game should be paid.

Adding information: on Halloween 2016 the ghost fell, right? And in Halloween 2020 the ghost flew into space, right? So we can predict that probably on Halloween 2024 Momo You will face the ghost in space. It's a matter of watching the ending to predict the next game.
