It’s been a huge issue for me with the projector. My “mixer” cam still covers a little bit of the project screen. Just can’t get it perfect. Happy with the lighting though.
Great to see! We kindof have the same thing, mixing audio and making video tutorials. Can I ask which light diffuser you have hanging there? We have a lantern, but is way to big.
Do you mean my key light that’s in the cloud? I just bought a sheet of diffusion to put in front of the flat FL-SL6060 and I made the grid in front of it with corflute which is just that plastic poster sheets.
Still working on the studio. I'll be making tutorials about post production deliveries to our studio, how to edit audio, a workflow for re-edits etc. Also I think these will be in Dutch because most of my clients are. A lot of work we got oursselves into with adding the video part. You know about it and it looks great!!! Thanks!
Hi Benni, just a question. How you manage your monitor? With SPL SMC 2489? do you think there is a way to manage with stream deck for windows users? Thanks so much
I'm sure there are ways to do it with a stream deck but only if your audio interface mixer has keyboard or midi control. At the moment I use my audio interfaces software as a monitor control but I have to control it with my mouse.
I’ll hook you up with specs soon. I bought a PC in lock down to play video games with mates. It’s now my main machine but I’m pretty keen on a Max Studio instead. I miss max OS. GPU is nvidia 3080 off the top of my head.
I’ve got a limited budget, space and not a huge amount of experience with that so I’ve done the best I can. I’ve covered first reflections and have large corner bass traps. I think the room sounds great. Definitely have some low end issues but that’s pretty common. It’s hard to fix that stuff without more room or more money. It mostly sounds great without Sonarworks, it’s more about fixing the issues with the monitors than the room itself.
Beautiful studio! What kind of computer set up/specs do you have for post production work?
Finally, What a beautiful space Benni
Thanks mate. Appreciate your support

Sick setup! Considering Kali for my Atmos home studio. This entire video gave me some great inspiration.
Glad I could help! 😊
Nice one Benni, it looks like a great space! I like your solution for lighting aswell.

such a beautiful studio! ♥
Thank you so much. It’s taken a lot of work but I’m very happy.

What’s your UA-cam channel with the tutorials?
@@benniknopThanks! Softbox was what I was looking for :-) Also I like the spotlight! Looks really good!

@@deaudio I've got a video coming out soon about my lighting setup. You'll get more details then.

Looks fantastic. Recently built my first 5.1 studio, but don't have a projector set up yet. Next on the list 👍
Definitely the way to go. Less straining on the eyes. Just don’t try build a UA-cam studio at the same time. It’s done my head in.
Are films not mixed in 5.1 anymore due to Dolby atmos for 7.1 setting? If so should I just go head and upgrade to 7.1?
I still mix films in 5.1 as well as 7.1 and Dolby Atmos. 5.1 is still a good option.
Which audio interface you'll buy for dolby atmos?
Possibly getting my hands on a ProTools MRTX Studio. We’ll see in the coming month or so.
@@benniknop thank you for replying.

Good Monitors Benni, but you should work on your room acoustics before fine tuning with sonarwork. Otherwise, you're just tricking your ears..

what was the name of your audio interface?
MOTU Ultralite mk5
Correct.
Nice looking studio. Not a fan of that Fairlight editor though, pffff 🙂
Fair enough. There’s definitely a bunch of stuff I’d change but overall I think it works great for editing.
@@benniknop ooh if I could give a list to the Davince guys 🙂
