Wow, just wow. First we get Ruth as a regular contributor and now Brian … well done Homeworthy! I’m hooked and can’t wait for the next episodes from each one of them. ❤
Is there anyone who can present a home like Brian Branton? It is such a pleasure to share in his enthusiasm as well as ideas for the homes he decorates. I can't wait for the next chapter in this adventure and to see the beautiful results of his endeavors. Thank you Brian and Homeworthy!!
I loved Brian's previous residence and particularly admired his Christmas decorations. The house has a timeless and enchanting quality! I am excited to witness this renovation project as Brian incorporates his personal touches!
What a fascinating tour. Can't wait to see the progress as he restores the property. So glad that someone with his taste, thoughtfulness and means acquired this house. He's a delight to listen to.
This is the first home tour where I watched breathlessly from start to finish! Brian’s excitement is so evident!! Thank you for sharing another amazing home!!
Brian is a gem, he managed to put a big smile on my face with his enthusiasm and love for this property. I understand his sentiment regarding the wallpaper (“ bought the house because of it” made sense y to I me)
Brian, I can't tell you how happy I am that you bought this house! I first saw this house in Architecture of The Old South published by Beehive Press when I was a pre-teen. I fell in love with it. My husband and I looked at it in the early 2000s. It was too much for us to handle at the time. I have worried about it ever since.
Brian your taste is impeccable.Do what you did in your last house .It was Fabulous.Your brick floors in your kitchen.I loved those. So unexpected. But warm and inviting. Can’t wait for Christmas. And see what you do next.
When your video came up, Brian, I was immediately reminded of your Christmas Tour of your Virginia Home and of how much I admired your style and zest for life. You still maintain those qualities. I truly wish you were my neighbour. Pleased to see how you have not only moved on but how you have evolved. Don't ever change. Cheers! Darryl
I’m so impressed with Brian and his love for the beautiful wallpaper and house. He is very articulate and I enjoy his story telling. Definitely need more of Brian.
Wow wow and then wow - Brian is a hero! Taking on this type of house is being a true custodian of history. For us Europeans this house represents the epitome of a southern US home. Will be fun to follow the renovation here if possible.
I own an historic home and lhave a deep passion for it, but I don't brag about it. These people are all rich so they can spend whatever they want. It is people like me that have a limited budget-- wherer the real creativity comes in--I am a fine artist and that is what makes it special. Kim
Well done Homeworthy! Thank you for continuing to follow and feature Brian and his adventure! This is going to be an amazing home and I cannot wait to see what Brian does with it.
OBSESSED OBSESSED OBSESSED with old house! All the dark wood, vintage furniture, vintage painting. Everything is just magnificent ❤ Please keep video of the old house coming more. I can’t get enough of this 🫶🏻♥️✨
I’m so excited for Brian and cannot wait to see him work his magic on this glorious home. The wallpaper is absolutely stunning. Love his enthusiasm and sense of humor!
Before I moved into my Paris apartment I had a student stay in it for three days and paint all the ceilings, best investement ever ! HATE painting ceilings. I then had all the floor carpet lifted (royal blue with bleach stains) and had the floor levelled and had sisal carpeting put down throughout as the original wood floors were in very bad condition. This made my life so much easier. Turns out I moved out a year later just as I had finished decorating as my upstair neighbour flooded me, kitchen cabinets full of china fell of the wall during the night etc. Insurance was a mess between the realter, the neighbour and my bank no-one wanted to foot the bill so I moved everything into storage and took a small apartment nearby that I decorated for a year before moving again, this time to Brazil ! I have just moved again and THIS TIME I am staying put, at least until they bury me !
Back in the early 1960’s, my father and his wife bought, restored and lived in an historic home in Edgefield also from the 1700’s. When they left to live out their last years in an ALF in Florida, the home was sold to a real estate company for their offices. Thank you for this tour of Cedar Grove! It took me back to many visits to Edgefield.
How heavenly it must be when people just can buy a house, because they fell in love with it! And how lucky we are, that they show us their beautiful homes 😊So thanks a lot for showing👍 But just a little correction: The dog isn't eating the pheasant, he is just retrieving it😃
Happy to see another Brian video with a different home! I've watched his Christmas videos more than once. Can't wait til Christmas to see how far along he'll be.
Brian has such exquisite taste as I have seen in his other home. I cannot wait to see what he does with this historic home. The estate office on the back porch of this home had the door off the back so in many years past the workers would come to receive their pay without entering the quarters of the family. I visited an estate of a historic southern plantation in Louisiana that had an office similar. Love this home!
Awesome house...I'm so glad we get to see it just as you've taken possession. Enjoy the journey ... and I hope you take us along. Thanks for sharing!!!
I'm Italian and don't know this gentleman, but I have a feeling that he will refurbish this utterly AMAZING property BEAUTIFULLY!!! I'm as excited about this almost as much as he is and am extremely happy for him !!! I've been passionate about houses since I was about 8 years old and doing floor plans with plasticine at that tender age. At 16 I did a floor plan of the house of my dreams. At 63 I found that very house in Costa del Sol ,Andalucia, Spain and we obviously bought it. So dreams can come true. It belonged to the eighth earl of Warwick. The proof of this is on the deeds and on a ticket that we found stuck behind kitchen units. I love this house so much that I talk to " her"( she is definitely female 😂)and regularly tell her how beautiful she is. She has AMAZING sea views as we can see the north Africa coastline and she also has mountain views, a patio Andaluz and 2 swimming pools. Unfortunately I'm 71 now ( with some health issue's ) somewhat short of cash and time to complete the restorations of other small exterior outbuildings on the property, but will be forever grateful to God for having found my dream home. Moral of this story? NEVER GIVE UP ON DREAMS !!! ps if you sit on your butt it ain't gonna happen though,so work at it and it will ❤
OMG, Brian what a home and what a project. So much better than a new build anyday. Please keep us informed. I hope all goes well with all the renovations. Please enjoy that pool. I have the best memories of pool time in hot southern summers. Sending you tons of love and hugs
So happy for you! 🎉 Can't believe you sold your other beautiful home 😮, but this S.C. home is going to be unbelievable when you've put your touch on it all!❤ Thank you for sharing 😊
This is going to be fun to watch. It’s already a gorgeous property and I appreciate how he respects its history. Thank you for sharing this tour with us!
Hi Brian, Lisa A-W here! So good to watch this tour on my large screen monitor. I love it. How are things coming along, Dear? I can't wait to get a personal tour someday when you are further along. The Wicker is a perfect match to compliment your porch. The Library room will be wonderful when it's complete. Brian, instead of tearing down the pergola that overhangs the pool house, on the right side of it, just put a beautiful lattice style trellis and let beautiful flowering plant of your choice climb it. Think about that, at least it's a temporary alternative and you make like it.
As a fellow southerner, I’m thrilled to see the restoration of such a beautiful home. That wallpaper alone is worth all the headaches that you will have during the process Brian! Thank you for doing your part to preserve something so beautiful.
Such a beautiful home! Can’t wait to see what Brian does with the renovation/restoration. I just watched one of his Alexandria Christmas episodes this morning, and am so excited to find another one. Love his style, his vision, and his personality - I could watch him give a tour through a cardboard box!
Holy cow. I'd never even heard of Brian Branton before this video (just subscribed not long ago) but he is so personable on camera, and I love that he loves old houses! I will very happily follow the series as he "fixes up" this awesome house. 😄
What a grand restoration! Amazing how much you’ve done already in such a short amount of time. This is so exciting. So happy you’re sharing your dreams with us. Good luck 🍀.
Absolutely brilliant. Really enjoyed this episode can’t wait for the next. So impressed that Brian is going to sensitively restore the property. It was built at the same time as our home in the UK - late Georgian farmhouse with a Victorian edition but no where near the scale of yours!!
Just amazing!! I love watching Brian’s home adventures, loved his previous a Christmas videos and this is going to be marvelous to watch! Looking forward to see everything he does to the home!
Loved. Every. Minute. Will be a devoted consumer of the updates! Grateful for Brian's willingness to share. He's a delight. Have so enjoyed all postings from Brockett's Row. This new chapter is going to be amazing!
Beautiful house! Beautiful home! Brian is such a lovely lovely man. Will be following him from now on. Can’t wait to see his last home. Blessings from the UK 🇬🇧
This house makes my heart race!! I can't wait to see it done, however I hope it takes a long time, too! Because the process is always fun! Brian is the perfect owner, that's for sure!
I love hearing Brian discuss his house and plans! I’m especially glad that this wallpaper has him as a friend! Thanks for showing the early stages of this house’s new presentation, Homeworthy! (Btw, I’m hoping Brian creates something for us to buy in support. Maybe some blank cards with the railing as a decorative border, or a portion of the wallpaper as the front panel of a thank you card, for example? 😍)
Congratulations and welcome to the area! “The Ridge” is the peach growing capital of the world. Make sure you’re here in March and April to see the blossoms; it’s magical! Any chance you’ll video document your work on this marvelous property? Very best wishes!!!😊
How exciting it will be to follow this renovation! Just adore his energy and optimistic outlook! Looking forward to the journey to the future of this house. His exquisite taste and attention to details. Absolutely love ❤
I can’t wait to see what you do with this magnificent property. It’s my dream to own an historic home in Nova Scotia, Canada, hopefully I’ll achieve it in a couple of years from now. I’ll be taking inspiration from your project.
@homeworthy THANK YOU! This is the greatest thing I’ve seen on the internet. 😂 Brian, it’s clear why you are a successful person, you are one of the most likeable humans alive and one of the few people who can be trusted with this house! I am DYING I’m so happy about this. Can’t wait to see more. The house is beyond beyond. I see why you fell in love. I will be sad not to get to see your other home but this one is even more magnificent. Wow.
How exciting for Brian! I cannot wait to see what he does to this beautiful home! I think Brian is so interesting and fun. Thank you Homeworthy for taking us along! :)
Congratulation on you historical Southern Home. It looks so comfortable to come home to. I am so tickled that you are devoting your ‘fine Southern Belle’. And getting her ready for the Holidays. She is perfect, peaceful Home. Thank you I enjoyed your Architectual Historical reveal.
If you have 2 or 3 ceiling fans on a porch and they are placed appropriately, you can set them to low and get a steady but mild all around breeze. Best reason to do that: mosquitoes can’t fly or land in a windstorm. 😍
Just beautiful....Brian I love your idea of using colors from the wall pape as you consider paint choices for the other rooms.! That wall paper would have sold me on the house as well. And all of us who told you to start a you tube channel are waiting to see you show us the restoration step by step!! I get so many good ideas from your decor!
This is a charming old home and I know that you will indeed make it spectacular. Looking forward to another video as you progress with the renovation! I appreciate your warm, welcoming manner.
Wow, just wow. First we get Ruth as a regular contributor and now Brian … well done Homeworthy! I’m hooked and can’t wait for the next episodes from each one of them. ❤
Completely agree and am here for it!!
Same thing I thought! Love them both. So my style. Bring on the series❤
Yes!. Isn't it wonderful.
I believe Brian is going to share his journey restoring Cedar Grove on his channel. www.youtube.com/@brianbranton4126
“I bought the house to save the wallpaper” was it for me👏🏻👏🏻😍
Is there anyone who can present a home like Brian Branton? It is such a pleasure to share in his enthusiasm as well as ideas for the homes he decorates. I can't wait for the next chapter in this adventure and to see the beautiful results of his endeavors. Thank you Brian and Homeworthy!!

Oh Homeworthy, please bug Brian to keep us updated on the progress of his renovation. As the owner of a +100 y/o house, I need this! 😉👍🏼🏡

Yes. He is.
Brian’s narration is the best! Can’t wait to see the completed project.

I can’t wait to see the final look.
Only Brian could make such an intimidating front hallway cozy living space! It really is looking great! I can hardly wait to see more!
OBSESSED OBSESSED OBSESSED with old house! All the dark wood, vintage furniture, vintage painting. Everything is just magnificent ❤ Please keep video of the old house coming more. I can’t get enough of this 🫶🏻♥️✨

What a lucky house to intice Brian to invest! How much joy he will give to Homeworthy
I can't wait to see all the Christmas decorations up in this home.
Wow.

Love this home! He is adorable
Congratulation on you historical Southern Home. It looks so comfortable to come home to. I am so tickled that you are devoting your ‘fine Southern Belle’. And getting her ready for the Holidays. She will thank you for it and I am certain the Gardens will be amazing. I have watched your Vlog three times already all because I want to imagine that you will accomplish your Renovation in just one year and your Belle ready for Christmas. Please make more Videos. She is perfect, peaceful Home. Thank you I enjoyed your Architectual Historical reveal.
Can't wait to see the place decorated for Christmas. And I can totally imagine Halloween parties in the attic!

Absolutely amazing beautiful property in very good condition. I see how you feel in love with it!! Thank you for sharing.
Stunning home. I can't wait to see the restoration. The room size is incredible and I love the fireplaces. Thank you so much for sharing.
