Hey Bewear, correct my math if I'm wrong but: Neo Upper provides 2 of any energy, Coalossal needs 1 (F) energy to use its attack, it had 3 basic (R) energy attached so wouldn't that equate to 4 (R) and 1 (F) totaling 320 + 40 (it's base atk damage) = 360 ?
Good question. Firstly, a minor correction: In PTCG, we use (R) for fire and (F) to represent fighting. If you have a Neo Upper attached with 3 basic fire, you satisfy the fighting cost and essentially have 5 (R) energy attached to make for 440 damage. Reason being Neo Upper basically means 2 rainbow. I don't know why they decided to word all rainbow type energies with "provide only 1/ 2 energies at a time" but this is how rainbows work. In this case, the rainbow effect makes one of Neo Upper's component energy BOTH (R) and (F) energy, while the other component is simply a (R). Hope this clarifies. 😃😊
@@BewearTheAWAKENING Ohhhhh I didn't know that. Thanks alot for that clarification 😅 because I was so lost bro but glad u won those games nonetheless 💪🏽
Great deck! Have you tried adding Pokémon GO's Charizard? Its ability works with Coalossal. Every fire energy lets Coalossal do 160 damage! 2 Fire Energy on Coalossal and you deal 360 damage
Thanks, man. And yes, like I said on the other comment, I did try Coalossal with the other Zard but it wasn't as effective since luminous doesn't work with its ability. So you would still need 2 basic fire + 1 basic fighting, or 2 basic fire + 1 luminous for the OHKO, which is simply 1 less fire energy than usual. Plus, Neo Upper doesn't really work for PGO Zard, whereas have good synergy when coalossal is played with its ex counterpart. 😃😊
I've thought of that with TM Energize, but the ability not working on luminous makes it kinda bad, which means you need either 2 basic fire + 1 basic fighting, or 2 basic fire + 1 luminous, or 1 basic fire + 1 Neo Upper. So, you would need mela, which isn't playable if your pokemon gets KO'ed during pokemon checkup. If you do TM Energize, you would also need to play double candy or 1 candy with 1 Salvatore to get both stage 2 cards into play from basic, which is a lot. Also, if your opponent does a boss to KO your PoGO Zard, you're forced to evolve another. But I guess that would be an entirely different list. I just prefer the ex, cuz you get to play Neo Upper for it as well, which isn't the case for PoGO Zard. 😃😊
When I saw coalossal in the pre-release I knew you will do a deck around it 😂 thx for the video
Haha, that ohko move potential is just way too tempting. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for the comment. 😃😊
Havent heard of this card before. Pretty cool!
Its pretty awesome. I love its OHKO potential. 😃😊

@@BewearTheAWAKENING That's true. Good point!😁
440 of damage. OMG!!!!! 😧
Colossal Damage! 😅😊
What don’t you use Pokémon go chrizard and double the damage
