- i felt maybe the Naked and Afraid Bad Apples trial from Program X was actually tougher, but that's probably cause i dislike the fun park map and know the police station extremely well. the fact that this is named Final Exam + the way the variators are listed, it's clear the devs wanted the Final Exam to be the toughest.

I feel like this game could have potential for 1-4 player speedruns, to really emphasize teamwork and improvised strategy, despite rng being a thing
a lot of people are already speedrunning, i think! it does sound fun but also a little annoying to deal with the rng

Gosh, this took me 65 minutes to solo and I thankfully finished with an A+
I've been group finding for about an hour now and the program x's final exam is the last thing I have to do to reborn. I'm thinking of doing it solo but I am absolutely petrified xD
usually im dead silent when im playing this game because im 100% concentrated and my heart feels like its gonna beat out of my chest but every so often i scream
this game is extremely tense so i understand what u are saying completely and i also understand what u are saying completely
24:23 enemies can also open trapped doors slowly, but they also close them afterwards.

@@happyheart I wouldn’t even recommend program x solo at all. With friends it’s hilariously fun and easy
I did test it, carrying heavy objects and standing does make a very small amount of more sound than crouching.
do you have the prescription that increases mobility when carrying heavy objects? cause i did this run before i had that prescription, and after i got it, i learned that the extra mobility means extra sound too
I think this guy might be THE outlast trials player of all time
He is a very good Trials player along with a few others. You might also enjoy watching Kotzwurst and JasonK if you want to see flawless gameplay and godlike speedruns.

I'm on this mission currently, closest I got to was pushing the snitch into the execution area at the end. So damn difficult for me, you make it look so easy lol

I managed to do it with 2 other randoms, very hectic at the end but managed to get it😂
Also a good technique I found for getting to the first security room at the start is to get full psychosis and just full sprint to the room. Not sure if its the play for speed running but its pretty effective
At the start you can run through all of the enemies to get to the security office even with the screamer there you can run right through
no way! maybe with noise reduction
but similarly i learned you can run straight out of the security room, pure sprinting you can pass the giant that spawns without him detecting you and get to the snitch for free

i prefer solo so i dont have to feel indebted to anyone and can play as selfishly as i want. but i imagine co-op is a far easier experience if u have 3 highly skilled teammates

The "screamer" has to be nerf. Like u can still move but slower, just don't let you move. Is a bad and frustating mechanic.
yes, the screamer is the most dangerous enemy in the entire game. so what if mother gooseberry runs fast, we can run faster. get screamed on = can't move = gg!

yea, i just uploaded my playthrough on it. it is very difficult
how are you not scared ? it's been two days and I struggle to finish the introduction
idk i was in Hell during the 7 months between closed beta ending and now, and in that time i must have watched 50+ playthroughs of closed beta police station. i learned the fundamental gameplay mechanics that way and got a little desensitized to the fear aspect of it all
watch walkthroughs and familiarize yourself with the layout of the maps, the objectives, how the players hide or use their items/rigs etc. You wont be scared that much anymore since you know what to do.
Introduction is the easiest, you just need to be stealthy or fast depending on the situation. Time your movements right especially during the climax when the prime asset shows up.

@@Atimoz congrats! once you are familiar with all the stuff in the game and how the enemies, traps, and your items work itll be easy. Once you have unlocked stuff later on all of the trials can be trivial at most. i mean most of the time its easier to complete them solo when you can since randoms are problematic to play with.

The x25 soundtrap is a bug, I've gotten it multiple times when only triggering one or two.

@@happyheart it's happened to me multiple times when I've had a big object in hand and accidentally set off a trap and at the end I'd have x25.

at 31:30 i was wandering how you were looking behind you while you were electrocuting the snitch is that a mechanic that you can do or are you just able to turn your mouse enough to see behind you?

Does the sound trap not affect the personal grade? Is it because of the skill?
it does affect the grade, even when you have slippers. but if you do a lot of good stuff (listed as black text in grade report) it can counteract a lot of the bad stuff (red text, like triggering noise traps) so u can maintain high grade
what how do you look behind while running? i dont see that keybinding in settings
it's Q or E to look behind while running!
Hey idk if you are still reading these comments but do you have a quick turn button? I’ve been trying to find it in the settings to no avail
the quick-turn is listed as the same keybinds as 'peek left' and 'peek right.' but it only functions as a quick-turn when running or doing objectives like pouring gas into generator

any advice on completing it solo? No friends to help me out, its the only trial I've got left to release an agent
go as slow as you need. some of the hardest trials, i just crouch-walked everywhere. because even if the sound indicator says you're safe, i think enemies slowly converge to your location if you're walking or running
stun rig is best for solo play imo. make sure to get all your upgrades. 9/9 + 7/7 prescriptions, Slippers, Cacophony, Strongarm are your amps
electrocuting the snitch, you have to drag at least one enemy way away from the electrocution chamber. go for a long run. that way you have a lot less pressure on you during electrocution
get REALLY good at closing doors behind you while on the run. buys you an enormous amount of time
@@happyheart thanks man, a couple of randoms carried me through the trial yesterday. I love this game but I hope in full release they upscale the solo difficulty more accurately, it takes three times more time and effort to go about it solo than to play with people, and mind you, the randoms that helped me where like level 10 who I constantly had to revive, but still when there is other people it makes it so much easier
Despite this being out for only a few days... you took little time to understand the mechanics of the game and mastering it. Despite IMO Red Barrels making this game almost impossible to playthrough solo.

They’re probably the hardcore gamers. There are many games like this for people to practice. The better they get, the easier it is to get used to new games. Which is why they fly through every new game they play. It’s pretty cool to see

yes, with a number of variators that make them much harder, like Naked and Afraid Bad Apples trial that has 0 item spawns, and starts ur inventory with an antidote, battery, and medicine

its a keybind in settings. settings > controls > keybinds (customize) > peek left and peek right, these are the same keybinds as looking behind, but only when running
