This is really sad actually. Sarah needed some proper support. Dylan was actually going above and beyond for her but she was hurt because he didn’t want her in that way. She was vulnerable. It’s hard for people when they’re recovering to be rational. She needed someone who would support her through it all no matter what and that she trusted, not enablers who would push her to drink.
Season 2 had a 10 episode stretch from the Halloween episode to this episode where it was just great quality television, every episode was a banger. Probably the best stretch of episodes in the shows history.
Really sad storyline and I appreciate 90210 keeping it real. We never saw Betty/Sarah again after this and it ended on a sour note but it is realistic. Some people simply can't be saved and better to just move on.
