Be careful if an active volcano has signs of increased activity, it's better to avoid it. If you see that there is glowing lava in the center of the crater, sometimes it could be a piece of burning rock with the size of a volleyball or basketball shooting out in no particular direction and that is even more dangerous if it hits people. Apart from the rumbling in the mouth of the crater, small explosions were heard as a sign when chunks of burning rock were thrown out. More serious signs in the form of small, unnoticeable earthquakes are usually detected by the local Geological Agency and if they are dangerous, the Bromo area is often closed suddenly.
Anyway enjoy for many landscapes that Indonesia has.. It will definitely be an unforgettable moment in your live. 😊

Due to a land fire incident in the Block Savannah Lembah Watangan or Bukit Teletubbies in the Taman Nasional Bromo Tengger Semeru (TNBTS) area, the tourist route was forced to close again indefinitely.
It is suspected that the cause of the fire came from flares lit by visitors who were taking pre-wedding photos.
Taman Nasional Bromo Tengger Semeru Center (TNBTS) announced with number PG.08/T.8/BIDTEK/9/2023 the closure of the Mount Bromo tourist area.
To ensure smooth extinguishing efforts and to pay attention to visitor safety, Mount Bromo tourism activities are TOTAL CLOSED effective from Wednesday (6/9/2023), at 22.00 WIB.
Until Thursday (7/9/2023), the fire team and the police were trying to put out the fire. Fire extinguishing action by tourism people in Bromo.
"You can see they are carrying simple tools. Please pray that the fire will be extinguished soon and all volunteers can return home safely".

Mt. Bromo landscape is kinda scary for me, when i climbed it at the night time, all dark so i cant see the landscape..but after the sunrise..wow!!! haha i cant believe i walked on this mountain of sands and hike that deathly stairs..beautiful yet scary 😅

The correct route should be first you go to the sunrise point then to see the beautiful scenery like a painting. After sunrise you can go to the top of the crater, whispering sand/Pasir Berbisik (don't forget to take a photo on the jeep with the background of Mount Batok / Bromo) and lastly go to the Teletubies hill savanna.
By the way are you guys going to labuan bajo? there is paradise and more beautiful than bali. You can enjoy the sailing, beautifull sunset, pink beach, beautiful padar island and off course meet Komodo dragon 🔥

I went to Bromo twice, the first time was in 2005. We crossed the sea of sand with our office minivan. The car got stuck in the sand several times, and we had a jeep to pull the car out. The second time, I went to Bromo in 2015. Ten years apart. The stair was so crowded with people.
