It sounds good especially using 90% less chemicals, however does it cost 900% dollar more? The frame device is great, maybe a device a a hive mat also. I assume you can't use with honey supers on.
There is also terraverra I'm looking forward to seeing what they do BC they have a similar type of device so I'm super excited about that technology and what it's possibilities are.
Do you know if the Apivar poor performance was due to resistance issues? How do you think the device treatment improved the amitraz efficacy to show no resistance?
I hope they keep boy devices, 101 and 202, simply cause I bet there will be a lot of us who don't wont to give up a frame of space inside the hive. Thnks.
I and Many Beekeepers do not use Synthetics, it appears that they didn't listen about making OA usable in the Unit. Keep using Synthetics and you will keep developing resistance, History has proven this over the years time and time again. Interesting Unit but at this stage cost prohibitive and they do not use Organic Acids as Treatment Methods. To each their own, plus they do not sell to small beekeepers. So there Is That....
We need to understand the strategy they are using. If they cannot convince investors that there is sufficient demand, the project won't progress in the long run. This is why their initial focus is on larger beekeepers and amitraz. However, it's clear they plan to expand into other areas as the project advances. I'll personally be testing the other compounds as well. Like many, I prefer natural solutions and am excited to see the results. They also have data on formic acid and other treatments, which will be interesting to review. Stay tuned-more videos on this topic are coming in the future. Thank you for stopping by!
Here in the UK, commercial and small-scale keepers use OA for vapour treatment. Getting keepers to change treatment methods is going to come down to price.
From the information I have found. You can't they only sell to Commercial Sized Contracts, another reason I do not care for the Company and I'm not overly interested in buying their product personally.
@@dcsblessedbees ok I did not know that thanks for that info well I guess that sucks and it’s pretty piss poor set I have no issue controlling mites now but would have been cool to try it

@@jaibusby673 Price must be fair and deliver return of investiment. Only proper testing will allow the market to define the fair price.

Looking forward to its possible use with organic acids.
Me too. I can even see a small hive beetle trap inside the frame now. :)
Yes I agree, im only interested in using Organic Acids
How much does it cost?
Great informational video. We need them at NAHBE to demonstrate this new technology.
I believe one of the representatives will be there with the device.

The alternative frame design is a brilliant idea. Maybe in the near distant future they'll have an assortment of frame sizes, such as the national.
I don't see a problem for them to do that. Talk to them. If there enogh pressure I believe they can do it very easily.

Bottom line for the ave. beekeeper is price point
Price must be good for both parties. I am curious to see what the market will say about price.
Kudos Doctor, you have a powerful voice and impeccable integrity.
I try my best to keep the science honest. Thanks for the kind word. I appreciate it.

I'm going to look for it. I hope it's not much for it .
How would I be able to get one if I’m in Canada ?
I am not sure they are targeting canada write now. Talk to them. if they see strong market in canada I am sure they will push to that direction.
@ ok I will but I’m just a small bee keeper what are the chances I could send you cash and you ship me one I’ll pay you for your time lol🐝🐝
