This is the reason I honestly love sims 2, it feels so complete, alive and with a little of makeover even more playable than recent titles. I really like these videos
I feel like I can’t play it just because I’m so used to the newer features, but it’s the “best” one of the 4. It really does have the most detail and character. I hope they put this much effort into Sims 5, but I doubt it.
@@svdorme I highly doubt there will be Sims5 at all, they will milk it till there is nothing left of 4. Even if there will be something it will be irrelevant. That Project Rene or wtf is it called that some people keep bringing up fail to realize that have nothing to do with Sims at all, its a barebone generic room decorator app, there are much better even free ones out there for decade+, its not a game let alone even 1% of what a Sims game should be. That whole presentation of hyped up Sims nonsense was cringe as hell. Last year and the year before and not sure if there was anything this year or if even will be something. It was all hyped up so naive people keep buying TS4 DLCs, nothing else.
I just found out that in Sims 2, if you have multiple guests over at the same time, and one guest plays the piano for tips, and another guest tips that guest, your sim gets the money. Lol
I found out recently something similar. If you have set your lot as business if someone plays those items that pay you for your time, like the tropical pinball you get money from it even if other sims play it. I use to have bunch of them back in a day and never realized that was making me money, I used it for shop decor and the money I made was from selling items and subscription based stand, so those extra bits and pieces were extra money. I wondered how I do so well now I know XD I was milking every trick in a book, everything without realizing some of them.

"Why can I never record a serious scene" - the Sims 2 in a nutshell 😂😂😂 There's always some crazy stuff going on in the background 🤣 (which is part of the reason I love it)

I love putting a snapdragon bouquet in Sims' bedrooms. They almost always wake up in a perfect mood, with completely maxed out motive bars :) The Statue of Jumbok IV career reward provides similar motive boosts!
So many cool things are happening lately with Sims 2. I do enjoy your videos a lot. hold down 'esc' key in hood deco mod to quickly delete all hood deco you hover your mouse over, no longer needing click and delete each individual tree separately!
I like how the red ghost in the last part of the video was unable to get past the water. you'd think they could just "float" to the other side, but I guess the game won't let them for whatever reason. poor red ghosts.

I played the Sims 2 since 15 years and Yesterday I saw for the first time when Sims Kids have the lowest Aspiration level, they Beat other Kids. The first time my sim crafted a Snapdragon bouquet it was the bad one, but I didn't realize because it was the very first piece I got to see. I placed it and after a while realized my sims were getting miserable. I was so disappointed that the supposed "best" item from florists was that useless, and it took a while until I touched that talent again. Lmao
Nice compilation! I have questions about the apartment eviction thing. Aren't the funds coming from having all the furniture in the apartment sold and converted to simoleons, just like when you move Sims from a house? How does it affect the apartment itself? Will the rooms be empty?
they are always empty unless you cheat the option to rent furnished. then, no matter how many times you move out, it will always be furnished as when you first moved there edit. spellling mistake
a thing i found out about homework recently, maybe only works for teens as they can live without an adult (may work on their younger siblings too? if they have those), but if there isnt an adult living on the lot for whatever reason, a homework doesnt generate and their grades just skyrocket cuz i suppose the game treats it as finished
Hey you can grow up a sim without the birthday cake just choose the sim and press on him and a grow up button will show up I only tried it on toddlers so I don't know if it works for other age as well so can you pls make a video about it
even without exploiting the living daylight out of it the investing aspiration benefit is broken as all hell. I have an household that I play as the type of "old money" family (think Rockefellers). As a result all the male heirs of this family have the fortune aspiration and therefor the investor perk. This household has gathered 10million+ simoleons with this perk throughout the generations. on a good day this familly gets 500K out of thin air! It's Ridiculous!
There's another glitch, this one is OFB and has to do with pricing just before completing the purchase. Check my channel if you want; I covered that one and the physiology one hehe Also, keep up the good work!

Servos have the same skill points as the sim that activate them, so Bigfoot making them is a good way to get an army of perfect servants.
