I have a few knitting goals: I have a large bag of sock yarn stash, yarns I have bought over the years but I never really think of it so this year I took out 6 yarns and put them into individual bags, each with a sock pattern and I hope to accomplish 6 pairs of socks by this time next year..... and I have a few sweaters I hope to knit: the felix cardigan, a vest for my husband, the Tröjan Barbros stjärnor..... I have the yarn for all these so hope to get them done this year... I am a very slow knitter so it takes me a long time to finish a sweater...
Great plans!! I definitely do not have much knitting time now, but I try to make the most out of it which for me means having fun and relaxing after a long day of work. It doesn't matter how fast you are, it only matters that it makes you feel good! Keep going with your goals✨❤️
I am also based in Milan but also haven't been to any knit nights because my Italian is a little flakey and I worry about the language. I'm fortunate that my mum and sister are both knitters (although they live in another country) so I can share it with them but I wish I had some knitty friends here :( when I visit my sister we often go to cafes or pubs and just sit and chat and it's just the best!
I totally understand! It must be so nice to share this hobby with your mum and sister ✨ Actually, there will be a knit night this month in Milan and I'm planning to go! And we Italians love when foreigners try to speak our language: we usually are very encouraging and are not bothered by mistakes 🥰
Hey there, I love your video! I'm currently knitting the Jeju sweater by Aegyoknit! This was my first colorwork design and it was pretty easy, but I would strongly suggest adding a lifeline before starting the colorwork. the motif starts right after connecting the body in the round, so its a hassle to repair if you need to rip it out. I also had to transfer the motif to my own paper because the graph is inverted from the colors of the design, which was a bit weird. I'm knitting it with the suggested yarn and while I love it, it isn't a DK weight like the listing says. Other than those small details, it's been great to knit and I'm almost finished! I can't wait to see your version.

I’m knitting on a very spring stripy tolsta tee while watching. Was so pleased when i saw you had a video up. I have the porcelain sweater on my list for this year and have all the yarn ready. I went to a local knitting group last year and ive made a wonderful friend who has the same love for yarn as me. We then went to a yarn festival together and we are going to another in Edinburgh in April. It really is wondering to have a friend who understands knitting.
