Hi Luz! I love your videos & I am wondering if you could make a video on how to make strawberry chamoy rim paste & Pineapple since I find it more difficult to make those 2 flavors 😩 I would really love a video on how to make those 2 flavors for chamoy rim paste ☺️ thank you sm.
Hello Luz!! I am hoping you will see this even though it’s many years after posting lol but I’m wondering how many people or drinks would an 8oz container be good for?
Do you know the shelf life for these and the best way to store them? I’m wanting to make some for my wedding and wanting to know how much in advance is safe to make them. Thanks ❤️
Yes I pour it in right after I make so sometimes it's a little hot. maybe your measurements are a little of ? I usually only fil to the line seen on the 8 oz Container
Everyone in the comments is annoyed af lol who cares if she said 4 1/4 cups she could’ve said 1 and 1/3 cup too but y’all not complaining about that. She’s making 4 batches, so she’s naming the measurements for ONE batch while she makes 4!!! Jesus hahaha just so y’all don’t have to do the math
I notice when my rim paste is fully cooled it almost hardens a bit and I can’t dunk things in it without reheating it a bit. Is that normal, or should I be adding more Chamoy?
For anyone watching, please for the love of god dont use a dollar tree spatula. Use one that’s safe for high temps. I’m glad the spatula made it through this video, but from the looks of it…just barely. At the temps it takes to melt pulparindo and sugar, you need to use ones made for high temps. These are more for frosting or mixing cold ingredients.

Do you do powdered sugar or actual sugar ?
Regular sugar
Hey hun do these need to be refrigerated or room temp and how long do they last?? 🤗 thank you for recipe 🫶🏼
Isn't 4, 1/4 cups of chamoy equal 1 cup?
Just made this and its delicious!! Your measurement are on point!! Thank you!! 😋
I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊
Just made this and it turned out great, taste delicious!
Glad you enjoyed it I love it on fruit and beer

Hi Luz, thank you for sharing your recipe. I have been using it ever since i first seen your video.
Glad your enjoying it
Thank you so much for sharing your recipe love how you have everything measured im very excited to try this recipe 😊
Hello Luz!! I am hoping you will see this even though it’s many years after posting lol but I’m wondering how many people or drinks would an 8oz container be good for?
I will be trying this soon. I have not found a good rim paste from the sellers around my city but yours looks tasty 😋
It's so good . If you feel like it's to thick add more chamoy 👍
I’m afraid if I make some it won’t be as good as yours 😫 I’ll just continue buying from you since I won’t be disappointed 😉🔥
You are mee lol 😆
Is the additional sugar necessary? Or can you skip that ingredient?
I would
Beat recipe ever!!
Tried your recipe but only made 2- 8 oz
this is a must at house party's 😆
I see them go for $8
Thanks for breaking everything down!
Do you know the shelf life for these and the best way to store them? I’m wanting to make some for my wedding and wanting to know how much in advance is safe to make them. Thanks ❤️
Congratulations on your wedding 👏❤ I had 1 for up to 3 months and it was still good I stored it in my pantry. 👍
@@luzvega thanks!! And thank you so much for responding!
Perdón por la pregunta pero paea hacer el sabor fresa usas el pulparindo original?😊
Really want to try this, i have seen tajin in sauce form should i just buy that, or do you need chamoy in sauce and tajin in power? ❤️🇬🇧
So if ur only making one batch then u would use 4 pulparindo, 2 Lucas, only one 1/3 cup sugar ?one 1/4 cup chamoy? One 1/3 cup tajin?
Did you ever try this?
Thankyou so much for sharing detailed video🥰
She said it that way for those making a single batch ya goof balls.1/4 cup x 4 = 1 cup.
Some people's kids,I tell ya.
It’s pretty good
Hi I'm making this for Christmas drinks, what is the cup measurement for the Lucas powder since I have the big bottle not the singles?
Will it get hard once it cools off? What’s the shelf life? Should it Be in the fridge?
No it does not harden, No do not refrigerate and I would say about 5-6 month shelf life
Wow what a good recipe 💜😋
So cool can i put them on cupcakes and can it be cold
Idk how you would add it to a cupcake ? But yes you can refrigerate the paste
Do you know how to make the pickle chamoy rim paste?
if the only ingredient I'm missing is the tambrin candy can I still go ahead and make it?
I wonder if they just sell the rim paste as a product at Food City.
Are you using powder sugar? And it will good outside of the fridge for you to 3 months?
Regular sugar not powder sugar and I honestly I had 1 for over 3 months in my pantry and it never went bad until I finished it
Thank you so much chica! Can’t wait to try it out!
Thank you for sharing and God bless
Thank you for watching 🥰
How long is the shelf life?
Do you wait for it to cool off before pouring in containers, and to close them ?
No I do not wait to pour it or to close the lids it's usually not very hot I work on medium heat
@@luzvega 😊
Thank you ❤
Do you pour it In Warm? I waited for it to cool down and I didn’t have enough for 4 containers. Thank you
Yes I pour it in right after I make so sometimes it's a little hot. maybe your measurements are a little of ? I usually only fil to the line seen on the 8 oz Container
@@luzvega I did the same measurements. Maybe I’m filling to much on ones. Gonna give it a try again. Thank you for responding.
@@luzvega do we store it in the fridge after of leave outside?
How much do u charge for one
Everyone in the comments is annoyed af lol who cares if she said 4 1/4 cups she could’ve said 1 and 1/3 cup too but y’all not complaining about that. She’s making 4 batches, so she’s naming the measurements for ONE batch while she makes 4!!! Jesus hahaha just so y’all don’t have to do the math
I found the mango pulparindos can I use those ??? Can I do this recipe with the watermelon 🍉 and chamoy too
Yes you can use any pulparindo I would use more chamoy the what's listed on this video
@@luzvega like how much more cause I already did it and it taste soooo good 👍 😋
I would f just done 1/4 cup more
@@luzvega ok great thank you I'll do it tomorrow 😊 GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ALWAYS
I just made this and turned into a jelly instead of paste. I reheated it and added chamoy but now its a liquidy jelly
Do you put it the fridge right away or leave it out side?
I leave it out. I keep mine in my pantry
@@luzvega thank you soo much🙏
How can I make this strawberry flavored?
Hi, I’m looking for a Dedos Indy recipe, is this the same?
Honestly it might work depos are a bit thicker but give it a try
What are the measurements for one 8oz container?
Thank you!❤️
This is bomb
Is it regular sugar or powdered sugar
Regular sugar
I notice when my rim paste is fully cooled it almost hardens a bit and I can’t dunk things in it without reheating it a bit. Is that normal, or should I be adding more Chamoy?
Try adding more chamoy and less sugar
@@luzvega thank you!
Is this what they use to make the gusher and watermelon candy as well???
You can I would recommend just using more chamoy for a more liquefied consistency
Can I use tamerin paste and mango purée instead of candies?
I'm sure you can but I don't know how the consistency of it would be.
Hey where is the jar with the red lid from? Its the one holding the sugar... Xx
Honestly I do not know it was a gift but maybe walmart ?
Good video but your measurements are giving me anxiety 4 X 1/4 = 1 cup.
Same! 💆🏻♀️
Lol 🤣 same
i think is helpful for those that want to make a smaller batch, or for single orders :)
I was thinking the same thing. Had to read the comments to make sure I wasn’t the only crazy person 🤣🤣 but I do appreciate this video.
Do you refrigerate them after?
No, I leave them out at room temperature
Hi is the pan on low when you mail those Tamarindo things
Usually medium heat
I just made this and it’s delicious however I only get 3 8oz bowls out of it 😬🤷♀️
I would recommend adding more chamoy .
@@luzvega thank you
Would you add lemon or a lime ?
I have not added lemon or lime I don't believe it needs it 😊
Wow amazing
Where do you get your containers from?
I have them linked in the description 😊
Hi does the chamoy look red or brown?
Red
I tried it but my consistency came out too thick not as runny.....any suggestions
Add more chamoy also u can use less sugar if you feel like it's to thick
How much sugar did you add
What size is your pan?
What kind of sugar do we use?
Regular sugar
Hola! Que es el polvo blanco??? Azúcar?
Si azucar
does it get thicker the next day? or does the consistency stay the same
When it sits it does get a bit thicker. If you want a thin or more liquidity add less sugar and more tajin
@@luzvega I like it thick I’m going to try this tomorrow.
Sorry just notice I said less sugar and more tajin.. I ment add less sugar and more chamoy. The chamoy makes it more runny
What kind of sugar
Is it sweet? Sour? Can you describe me the taste please.
It's sweet not sour at all . Very tasty 😋
@@luzvega ok thank you. I need to give it a try for sure.
I gave it a try not to long ago and I felt like it was too thick :( but I appreciate your how to videos
Adding in more chamoy will make it more runny less thick
I wana make this in south africa😭😭😭
Yummy Mexican candy great review
I put mine in the fridge and now it’s hard… can I just microwave it?
I would definitely leave out in room temperature. Idk if microwave is safe maybe place it in a plate with hot water until the candy's softens
Did the same exact thing and didn’t get 4 8oz 🙁
Maybe your container is more them 8 oz ? Use a measuring cut 1 cup = 8 oz maybe add a bit more chamoy.
Did you know 4 scoops of 1/4 of a cup , is actually one cup ? 🤣🤣🤣
can I used this for pickles?
What do you mean ? Like to wrap the pickle with the fruit by the foot ?
@@luzvega yes
Yes it works I have another video using it for that
@@luzvega I'll look it up right now thanks

Does the paste get hard?
Once it cools down it gets thicker but it does not harden
@@luzvega thank you
Can you use it with anything else other than alcohol beverage
Yes I eat it with fruit
We have it with Aguas frescas 😊 we put it on the rim of cup. Lemonade anything😁
How long do it stay fresh please and thank you again
I would say around 6 months
@@luzvega Thank you
I made some and it literally came out so clumpy and too thick i wanted to see if i could fix it but at this point im too scared 🤣😩🥺🙁
Add more chamoy. And try to get rid of the clumps with a spatula
Anyone know the measurements for only making 1 rim paste ?
just divide all of the measurement by 4 or 5 i beleive
Perdon que son llantas?
Isn’t the sugar overkill? The other ingredients/candy already have sugar.
Honestly I think it does make a difference but you can definitely try it with out it
Why does mine get super stiff after it cools down
Maybe use more chamoy and less sugar ?
@@luzvega I’ll try that…. Thank you 😊
What are these for?
For the cup rims where you serve the drinks
Can you microwave?
I don't think it would work but definitely can try it out I would just do like 30 second interval
How can I add flavor like mango
The lucas you buy adds the flavor
Never seen one with sugar
*additional
What i did wrong lol mi chamoy no se pega en el rimb 😂 esta duro😅
Add more chamoy to your mixture. Also don't refrigerate it. Dip nice and slow
1/3 of this measurement 😂😂😂 Dawg what
Good recipe but way too many commercials 😒
4 1/4 cups is one cup lol
That's to much sugar n tajin damm
I am a Mexican candy just for reviews awesome content btw
I subscribed to you
