Seeprozession Hallstatt / Corpus Christi on the lake of Hallstatt HD Travel Channel

Every year, tourists from all over the world meet in Hallstatt Austria to attend the colorful Corpus Christi procession in Hallstatt, founded as eternal endowment of salt mining.
Since 1628 a great part of the procession takes place on the lake, because there was too little space in the small village. The inhabitants carry the traditional costumes and decorate their boats with flowers and tree leaves.
Visitors can take part by booking a seat on the excursion ship or by renting one of the ceremonially decorated boats. Due to the visitor traffic the reservation should be made early enough.

Jedes Jahr an Fronleichnam besuchen Touristen aus aller Welt die über die Grenzen bekannte Seeprozession in Hallstatt Oberösterreich.
Da in dem kleinen Salinenort zu wenig Platz war, verlegten die Jesuiten 1628 einen Teil der Prozession. die als immerwährende Stiftung des Salzbergbaus gilt, auf den See. Die Bewohner tragen die traditionellen Kostüme und schmücken ihre Boote mit Blumen und Laub.
Besucher können auf den Rundfahrtschiffen an der Prozession teilnehmen, oder sich selbst eines der festlich geschmückten Boote mieten. Jedoch sollte man früh genug reservieren.

(Was sind diese grünen Pflanzen auf den Booten genannt?)

I don't know if they have a special name. Normaly on Corpus Christi birch branches are used to dekorate, similar to frond (palm branches) in the Bible. Greetings!
