Thanks a lot. Your comment means a lot to me, because, when I made this video some of the people involved were a little disappointed because it's "boring." My intention was to be educational, and practical, right down to the text. I thought it would be a good idea to write out the instructions rather than speaking, because this way someone whho does not speak English could copy the text and translate it via Google, or another translator. I just want to help people fix their bikes, and I am happy to hear that this video was helpful to you in your journey. Thanks, again, for your comment!
Hi! My friend has honda vf 1000 f2. The clutch and the whole starter package looks the same. The starter clutch has been changed to new but only idler gear spins. Could the starter clutch be assembled the wrong way round. Cause you put the idler gear from top right, i had to put from bottom left
What holds the idler gear in? Is there something on the inside of the outer case cover that holds the idler gear in? I couldn't tell by the video. Thank You.
I must note when installing, do take notice not to over torque the crankcase bolts. everything’s aluminum and it WILL strip very easily- speaking from experience
1 of the best how to videos ive seen great job

My bolts came loose and I think they have again, didn't use locktite . This is a refresher video and I thank you for it, I may need to rebuild it.
Great video, I'm gonna do my clutch with it.
Great video, well done
Fantastic video, thankyou!
I siliconed one side of tha gasket. Prior too this repair, and reused the old gasket bonded to the block and have good results, no leaks.
Torque for cover bolts?

I suggest that you talk to the guys at v4hondabbs.com/
They might be able to answer your question better than I can.
