- Hello all!
Business in today's world is NOT easy. If you are thinking of starting a business PLEASE make sure you have proper terms that are clear to understand. I have a customer who wants a refund after 8 months.
I am glad I keep records!
UPDATE
He emailed me back and ADMITTED to not reading the terms!
READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS!
💯💯💯...
Wow Todd am having the same problem too this guy make me repair a Taramps Amplifier three times saying when he hooked it up it goes up in smoke I told him to check the Subs he says that they're ok only to find out that all of the Sud was burnt up but it was the installer guy who was telling him that it was the Amplifier cost me alot of parts and time I told him to find some else to repair is Amplifier because am not doing it anymore you should see is face 🤦🏽
Man this is exactly why I stop doing it this for people they always bringing some bs story and not the truth when you know exactly it's a user error. You keep up the good work I'm learning so much more from you and would love to get into touch as I may have question concerning a driver issue that's been bothering me.
I am doing the same thing as far as terms of service. Some people think that you are responsible for the repair even if its a year later. Some people actually think that we dont test the amplifier before giving them back to our customers. I have had the same issues with people stating the same thing you had with the Orion. The common one I get is I had the amp in my closet...
😂😂😂 Now this is how it should be done. The customer is NOT always right... I will back Todd's work 100% .. he IS a VERY nice guy. So sounds like someone got on his last nerve. You are right brother . Keep up the good work.
Blows me away.. 8 months LATER! I am so easy to work with when issues are brought up in a timely fashion, say within my warranty period!
You repair amplifiers daily . What in your opinion is a well made amplifier? Doesn't matter if it's old technology. If it's tried and true, what is decent?
Should make a exception & keep a list of people to NOT do business with anymore
Oh trust me there are "flagged" people in my system!
@@ellensburgamplifier I started a list here as well
Unless the company that makes that is one of your manufacturers you deal with..who cares..I want to know who makes what and what issues each have and share problems with
Hit the nail on the head. This is why I did not mention the man. of this board. What I will say is that this design is typical.
@@ellensburgamplifier can't blame you bud .it's professional to not name names..but the car audio world needs to be more transparent..people everyday are being raked over the coals buying amps they paid 5-600$ for, when the exact same amp can be had for 150-200
