It would be a good idea to make a saw guide as well. This would increase the precision of the cut

Hi! This is Andreas from Austria. I would add at least a guide to be able to cut straight for longer workpieces. or to control the cutting angle when needed

When you cut your hole for the jigsaw blade to go through, make sure that when you mount the saw that the blade gently makes contact with the back of the opening so that when the stock to be cut is pressed against the blade that the blade does not flex backwards or twist.

I wonder why with all your skills and talent you can’t drill a straight hole… It might not be important to you, but it is to me.
    Great table, by the way.

I believe it was an optical illusion. When the camera changed angles, the drill appeared to be perpendicular to the wood.

@@thomasdsmith7678 It can be vertical in one direction and lopsided in the other. It is amazing that you cannot understand that. Plant a nail in a plank. Make sure that it is not straight and turn it until it appears straight. You will see that I am undeniably right.
