I am from the future and just wanted to tell all of you that I still have this monitor and it’s still kickin’. Y’all are gonna love the future. 4K resolutions on TVs 3x the size of this puppy, for maybe twice the cost of what this monitor sold for new.
1337AsianProductions, Thanks for sharing your insight with other users! The maximum resolution is 2560 x 1600, and you can find more details by searching HP LP3065 on digitaltrendsDOTcom and reading the full review. Thanks for watching and the feedback!
@DigitalTrends DigitalTrends, I have a question, I want to get a 30 In. Dell Monitor to connect from my laptop, but my laptop doesnt have a DVI or DisplayPort so how can I connect it?
that's what i was trying to say, its just with this stupid character limit, i couldn't put everything up. 1080P is the horizontal resolution being repeated over and over, 1080I is the horizontal rezolution staying static with vertical lines moving over it to change the appearance.
This video dates back to 2008. The commercial itself could date back a year or more. That's at least 4 years old. This technology is much cheaper now..
you can compair, but it does not mean it is real HD. an LCD monitor can be 1920x1080 all it wants, but it doesn't mean that it is HD. it just means that there are that many pixels.
just so people know, a computer monitor's resolution can NOT be compaired to a tv. they are rated differently (reference to what pku had said). the 1080 just means what is being put on the screen, while the monitor's resolution tells how many pixels you have on the screen, that is ALL.
fatcrispie, Thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed the videos. We're not giving away this particular monitor, but we are giving away a 22-inch Lenovo LCD Monitor this month. To enter, just submit some basic info to our contest site at digitaltrendsDOTcom. Check it out and good luck if you enter!

I'm also from the future, and I can't even adjust brightness on this dog.
I'm most from future and next week I can finally say goodbye to this monitor. Thanks for the past 13 years, your 176W power draw will not be missed.

Me, This monitor is better than many actually monitor
I still use this one, it is really good actually
I still use one and have repaired it twice to keep it alive! Best aspect ratio out there and it is super responsive.
grey to grey or black to black, 6ms and 12 ms

It managed 13 years as main monitor. 1100€ Well spend.
i lol'd at the little tiny background. be hard to find a 2560*1600 background though...

I've got that keyboard, and might be getting that monitor next year.
Put that money in Gamestop lol, dammit its tooo late.....
@einstienear
The new GTX 590 and AMD 6990 would run such monitor.
These high-end cards are made for such big resolutions.
actually the 1080 tells you how many lines of resolution there are (1920x1080)

Like most 30in. monitors, it maxxes out most graphics cards at 2560x1600
keep in mind there are other factors you should look out for such as response time.
i love how this guy doesnt even mention the 6ms response time.
samsungs 53 series lcd monitors!!! they are amazing!!!
@rhynix20 apples to oranges buddy, monitors are a lot more different than TV's
19-22 are awesome.
Sounds like you are the one who paid too much. Monitors capable of more than 1080 vertical pixies are available for way under $900.
haha I got myself a LG-Philips Q5 panel and assembled my own for about 450 bucks. I'll have to do my own A/S, but hey it's awesome.
this review is over 18 months old, dont judge.
Lmao k
why don'tyou freakin buy a 46 inch yv for that?
i have 1 of these behimoths, and i love it
OMG A COMMENT FROM 12 YWARS AGOOOO
yeah but i save $900, and even though it cant support the resolution, it can get close enough, and look crystal clear. so...fail
If your buying 12 of these you better have a decent set up
Ie why its pointless to have anything bigger then 30 inch.
a tv and monitor are two different things
i bought this from Pakistan
for $40 forty dollars only
Hello Najat, How is it working.
