Gonna wait for a 90% discount.
its just a screen with a frame on it
I still can't afford it with a 90% discount. The only way I can afford it is free + they add 50 bucks on top of it
Best i can do is $20
Imma just use my iPad
This can also use in a scary way, cause it looks like a photo frame if you hide the cable, use a image sequence which has eyes move at interval and scare the hell out of anyone in the daylight.
Ha, I love this idea. Great way to freak out the in-laws this Christmas
Im sold. Add to cart
Great idea! 😂

...a menace.
Anime ones never disappoint 🗿
I'm... surprised how much I want one.
Interesting piece of tech
The idea is nice but i would rather see a e ink screen frame but that would make the price much higher but that would also make it portable.
Yeah, an e-ink would be really fantastic and with that, the price would be through the roof.
How often will you be carrying your photo frame around the house?
That's actually a brilliant idea. Lower the cost, still have good resolution, color, and no worrying about the battery dying as often.
An e-ink screen would be a great way of getting around the having to be constantly plugged in issue, although the colours would suffer as a result. I'd love to see it though
E Ink proves to be an excellent technology for implementation on the digital art canvas. Nonetheless, the current E Ink technology can only display approximately 50,000 colors, which is insufficient for showcasing the full spectrum. LCD displays, in contrast, can exhibit millions of colors, making them more suitable for presenting artworks at present. Hopefully, E Ink will be able to offer a broader range of colors in the near future.
Nice!
Keep it on the desk ✌️😎
I'd love to see a comparison of these devices, as well as other devices which could serve the same purpose with minor wrangling. Thanks!
Man of culture
Colored e-ink with no bezels for half the price and it'd be awesome

It looks like a good way to shift all those old 27" panels they bought before 28" became the norm. etc. I could probably make something similar with an old monitor and a Pi?
Don't know how that would work out, I thought about repurposing an old tablet as a clock, but ultimately decided against it.
It's a good idea to utilise the old monitor, but these old monitors all have some sort of reflections that may not be suitable for displaying the art.
wow!
As someone big on tech/cyber aesthetics I thought this might be interesting. I figured there’s plenty of decent monitors between 100 and 300 dollars so this can’t be TOO much if it doesn’t do anything. Soon as I heard the price and then calculated that for American dollars 💸 I’m 200% good on this 🗣️🙅♂️
How good would this be as a colour e-ink panel that doesn't need power once the picture is loaded.
Bring it down to £150 and I'm on board
If it were an ink screen with color, it'd be better. Just don't wanna be looking at a screen when I'm off work to appreciate a piece of art
That is a wild idea... I imagine we can get it in the United States.. The price is a little high but❤😂🎉 it's nice. Great idea
Yes, Veiunite ships the product to the USA, and there are currently no additional shipping costs.
That’s lovely. 😍 it’s a shame it has to be plugged in rather than battery powered though, but other than that it’s perfect.
For it to be battery powered it kinda has to be e ink screen.
@@TheChameleon2008 aw really? Suppose it would’ve made it more expensive then it was if it was battery powered.
@@saz153well it does not HAVE to be e-ink. But if you make it LED you either need a massive battery (= expensive and heavy) or you need to charge it every day.
Which phone has a better camera Motorola edge 40 or nothing phone 1?
Ah...the ultimate way to showcase your weeb-ness!!
I wish it came in bigger display sizes rather than just 27 inches
We have a larger 4K version in development, watch this space! 👀
@@vieuniteHQ hi, thanks for the feedback. Can you provide an estimate, a rough projection of when other sizes will be available? I just completed a project and was already looking at pieces of art, but I would rather wait for these. Larger size options will be perfect for me. Thanks in anticipation.
@@coolpandas8375 we can't give exact details as it's all under wraps at the moment, but it will likely be at least 50". As this is in the early stages of R&D it will likely not be launched until the back end of next year. I hope this helps!
And its all run from an online QR code scanning app. So when the company goes belly up, as they always do, the whole thing becomes completely useless. Fantastic.
This at 1/5th the price, hacked together with a with a raspberry pi + sd card would be interesting.
This digital art canvas utilises the Android OS. You can also run your own app if you want to.
It would be nice to have an android smart home hub with poE in this form factor (I know Amazon has 1 but it’s shit)
That's a lot of money for what is essentially a LCD screen - think I'll just find one at an affordable price.
I'd of thought the power cable would be longer, otherwise you're restricted on where to put it...Ha !
i had a sony digital canvas years upon years ago .... back then we had no pics of our life.... and could not be arsed plugging it in ... so it died and went to a charity shop 15 years later
No fotos on card?? Can it be controlled from a pc(where my pics are)
👍
How would it look in a dark room?
Great question, the backlight brightness can be adjusted using the Vieunite app. So whether its installed in a dark room or a brightly lit space you can achieve the realistic art effect.
@@vieuniteHQ cool👍🏻
Can it be rotated while mounted on the wall in order to switch between portrait and landscape paintings?
Is it 'View'-(u)Nite
Yay anime. I'm a little sad that with all the (what people call AI but it's actually) machine learning art that's been circulating it has infested our favorite website to get related images from.
Oh, you reading this comment don't know where that is? play the jingle.
For that price Id rather just buy a bunch of used office monitors off of a 2nd hand store and nail em to wall
I love It but the price is to much for me
can it play videos too ?
how bright is it during the night?
The brightness of the Vieunite Digital Art Canvas can be adjusted through the app to ensure optimal performance even when placed in a dark room.
Is it better than the Netgear Meural?
Yes, and half the price! (Not to mention no subscription costs 😉)
Link to the anime girl wallpaper?
How about burn in?
It will be fine if you change the artwork on the screen regularly.
Well, I really liked it, but it's fu king.. £550 on amazon.. 😮What? I will check it out again on Black Friday. 😅
Watched part of the video. These frames need to have auto dimming and to be oled etc. Then they'll be looking realistic as they should, otherwise it's easy to notice that it's a screen and not a paining, poster, photo etc
OLED may burn in, Qled may be more appropriate
New samsung frame 32inch is 300euros in facebook marketplace. Why would I buy this instead of a samsung?
I wouldn't buy from facebook marketplace for a start
@@parshakamarsh
and why not if I pick it up from my neigbour?
So many 55inch frame buyers got 32inch tv frame "for free" and are now selling these away.
The Samsung Frame is a TV product, while the Vieunite Digital Art Canvas is specially designed for showcasing art without reflections. The display quality is much better compared to Samsung.
is there color e-ink one?
E Ink is a a great technology to be used on the digital art canvas. However, the current E Ink technology can only show about 50K colors that is not enough to show the full colors. The LCD displays can show millions colors that is more suitable for showing the artworks for now. Hope E Ink can offer the colours soon.
can you put a picture of a mirror on it?
Lmfao
I legit burst out laughing when I read this comment😂
🤣 Very interesting idea!
but... does it run Crysis?
Can it show video such as a fish tank, or crackling fire?
Yes, it can display videos. It is a brilliant idea for showcasing the crackling fire during the winter. :-)
Sweet technology so, does this mean that we have come up with a solution for art theft?
so it's a monitor
yes that really is a good way to get ride of your money 😂
They should not ask for date of birth. App makes me think they are capturing your photos - entire set-up should work w/o going on line.
uh, so thats just a flatscreen with a fake wood frame? No e-ink and not absurdly large? Just a regular old 27" screen? Kind of a rip-off/scam
It's hard to call it a scam or a rip off if you give them money and they give you a product. Scam and ripoffs are you giving them money and them shipping nothing. The more you know 😊
@@POVwithRC A rip-off is something priced too high and/or a poor imitation of something that already exists. That isn't exclusive to not receiving an item.
This is not an ordinary flat screen like your home TV or computer monitor. This screen is specially designed for showcasing art, featuring no reflections. You can observe the texture of the painting, and the frame is made of real wood as well.
But can I put my NFTs on it?
Nah but you can put a huge L on it
I think I'll pass on this one
Hear me out... add a wooden frame to a monitor
I just kind of figure environmentally this isnt a great idea.
Waifu monitor
4:44 plus every single thumbnail gives off pedo vibes

If I got paid £10,000 to "review" a free bit of tech I'd review any old piece of shiite.
