These are great. I think I’m becoming a guitar player! Thanks Chris for helping me get better. Time to purchase your full courses. I’ve been learning some great songs from different places but I’ve been lacking direction.
I've been playing for years but my finger fucking sucks so been trying to learn some Travis picking style tunes. This is a great help to get started, many thanks!
These are great! Please, please consider doing a tutorial for James Taylor's "Carolina in my Mind." Your lessons and tabs are top notch, and this song needs a good lesson!
Hi Chris, this is only the second video of yours I've watched, (the first being 'Is there anybody out there' after which I immediately subscribed) but as feed back, In 'Is there anybody....' u included a chord box in the top right corner, which I found really helpful (looking at your fingers it's very difficult to see if a finger, ie the pinky, is pressing down on a string or not!) so was wondering how much more of a hassle it is to include the chord box again? forgive me if you've already addressed this. It won't make any difference (I'll still stay as a sub 😁) just thought I'd mention it in the hope that other's, like me, found it really helpful as a "visual learner" Anyhoo, love your style of teaching and look forward to catching up with your back catalogue👍👍
Ciao complimenti...grande picking!!! Per favore potresti inserire nei tuoi bellissimi video Rhymes and reasons / Country road ? Per 6 corde...Sono italiano e sono iscritto al tuo canale. Se potessi farlo te ne sarei molto grato. Sei veramente bravo. 👍
Easy? Four months in and I'm still struggling and I'm practising every day. It may be easy for some or easy once you have attained it but from scratch easy it is not.
@@JohnMcintosh-dm1gn It does but a title needs to be somewhat catchy. In reality it takes a lot of time and practice but if you stick with it you absolutely will master it, frustration and despondency are all part of the learning process. Thanks a lot and all the best. Chris
Brilliant fingerpicking, so clean, so near, without missing even a quarter beat ... fantastic
Wow…interested in Travis but when you played your first song….now I’m fascinated. You have me!
Thanks Scott!

The new course looks great, Chris 👍

Thanks Chris, that was very informative, I found quite a few places where I just didn’t have it correct. Great lessons. 👍👍
Cheers Gerry, glad you liked it
Inspiring to just watch you play. What's the guitar model, a triple 0?
Great guitar sound, liked it a lot sir. How do I start enrolling with you? Travis picking fascinates me.
Thank you very much! Just head over to the site (link in description) if you would like to dive more into my stuff. Cheers
Nice fun songs -- keep up the lessons!

You’ll get it John I’m sure, just keep going. I don’t think it says ‘easy’ anywhere here. Good luck!
@@SixStringFingerpicking Fair point but it does say 20 minutes!
Thank you for your response.

@@SixStringFingerpicking Yes you are correct, I'm sorry for projecting my frustration upon you. Thank you for your patience and reply.
@@JohnMcintosh-dm1gn No need to apologise, cheers
Jeff to show right hand very slowly. I know you can play, I want to play nt listen to you play. Way to fast for beginners
Use the settings wheel on the video to reduce speed to 0.75, 0.5 or even 0.25. That's what most of us do.
That isn't really Travis picking. Travis just used the thumb and index.
