Armies: Kosmoflot vs Qapu Khalqi
Scenario: Evacuation (ITS Season 15)
Today we're playing Kosmoflot vs Infinity's most vigorously defended faction, Qapu Khalqi. Taking the statement "no, we have Druze at home" very literally, my lovely opponent Chris has donned his fedora and demanded to defend the honour of his faction with an absolute par excellence meme list which I loved to see but hated that it's going to make the comment bingo for this video feature someone insisting that he should have taken Djanbazan instead.
To note, this video was recorded quite late after a long day (a few videos recently have been the same) which probably has some impact on the quality of my vivaciousness and perspicacity but I wanted to get it recorded before I hit the hay. Enjoy, everyone.
I love the fact Infinity doesn't demand you fill out the SWC. In other Wargames not filling out your list resources is usually a punishment.
I'm gonna try out the double Patcher haris soon, even if it means abandoning the pure volk ML core. Also, funny that you brought the Chernobog. I was so excited when I first got the model, then my enthusiasm was immediately curbed when for three games straight it was unable to accomplish anything besides dying in my active turn. Still slightly traumatized. Thanks for the video!
It's sole accomplishment this game was making the Azrail sit down (and sweating bullets while it did), but you can't ask too much for 65pts. :)

Neat. Way back when i started infinity i went with QK, the original druze box just released, and i vividly remember rolling a crit on the spec fired grenade that game, killing the enemy LT. Man, n2 was a long time ago.
Yuan Yuans should be in way more sectorials though, and the poor nomad "TAG" needs something
Bearpode is a beautiful monster. And I don't even like Ariadna, even though I owe a Kosmoflot squad from Crimson Stone.

Look, let's not sugarcoat it. It was about a hundred points of unadulterated meme, and frankly 'meme' is being generous.
I was quite close to a QK list I thought I might enjoy before I realised the damn thing was illegal, but I'll get over the hump and make them work for me eventually.

Why would anyone spec fire meme with a BS11 trooper on a weapon with no positive range bands? There's a reason nobody does specfire shenanigans with the infiltration grenade launchers in Ariadna. Coordinate-drop 3 yuans on top of the LT instead at that point, at least it's not a FtF.
Any chance of getting a Kosmo faction focus? Would love t osee a deep dive on them.

They're not a faction I play a lot as they're one of the ones i don't have good models/proxies for but if you go back through the play list there should be a fair few games against both armies :)
