Not sure if you had thought about this or even would like the idea or look of it but you could get clear acrylic stands (like for desktop monitors) and stagger the heights of some of the plants at the very top shelf.
Have you tried heating the adhesive strips before pulling them out? It usually works wonders for me :) also, speaking of lights, I remember you once mentioned how much you wanted black lights, Barrina released their black grow lights a couple of weeks ago! For now, they only seem to be available for shipping to the US (or not Ontario at least 😂) but might be worth keeping an eye out out if you still want these ❤
I vaguely remember in an older video you mentioned reaching out to the company asking if they would send you extra boards because puppy Pudge chewed on the bottom shelves.🐶 They sent you a whole new shelf then you changed your mind and sold the second shelf. I remember thinking nooo they would’ve looked so nice side by side lol. Your setup looks amazing and I am so envious of your natural light!
The new set up looks amazing. Wish I had the wall space and natural light to devote to such a set up! And I'm impressed how quickly you decided on proper styling, seriously. My OCD would have had me in meltdown, trying every possible plant arrangement to infinity. It looks fantastic!❤
Love your set up with those shelving units. Wish I had room for something like that. Have you tried using a hairdryer to warm up the tape so you can remove or move those lights?
You could always swap out the wood shelves with real wood in order to hang your lights! And I also really think the office window would look amazing with a wingspan plant, like the billie, in the middle and a trailing in each side. That way you can utilize the white wall between the shelves and that window! I am also obsessed with my yucca! It’s got such a unique growth pattern! Yours is very similar to mine! So glad you finally got your dream set up! ❤
Have your husband replace the laminate compressed wood with real wood boards from Lowe’s and then you can attach your barrinas and remove them much easier when ever you need to. You also won’t have to worry about water damage. Also love your videos!
Wow, great job with your plant placement! You may not feel the best right now, but pregnancy suits you; you’re glowing & looking good with your bump. Thanks for sharing your design!
Styrofoam and plastic wrap make me want to crawl out of my skin so I feel you on that. You and Vince moving that Thai was hilarious. 😂 Love the new setup!
Glad you got the same shelf to put beside it. From your previous videos you mentioned was too expensive. But definitely the best setup from the start. Also don’t have to worry about it again. Be great aswell for your future house too. The two shelves on the wall beside it i would remove them. And would have a tall statement tree plant there instead. My own opinion.
Hi! Your Wayfair link in the description shows your email address. I don’t know if that’s public knowledge or not but I wanted to let you know! Also, love your videos! They are my decompression videos after a long day of teaching 🤗
Great job! I can’t wait to repaint my walls. I have gray walls and I 💜 how green plants 🪴 pop out against white/very light colored walls. You arranged your plant babies beautifully.
Ohhhhh those s'mores look so good! Vince is amazing! 😉 I checked for that shelf and its wayyyy outta my budget. But they look sooooo good in your place. Kisses to pudge 💚🐶 thanks for taking us along. Hope you had a great Christmas..
I love the double shelves. Consider putting some trailing variegated and neon philodendron on that top ledge. Your small shelf looks as if it would fit nicely on that small wall next to the stairs. I'm sure whatever you decide would look nice
It looks fantastic! Now you can start planning how you will remove everything on the lower shelves once baby is mobile. Haha. But enjoy it while you can!
lol I am about 19:35 into the video and I was like sister get a 2 step ladder or something instead of reaching way over your head 🤦🏼♀️ and than you said where is my stool 👏🏻🙌🏻
Just found you. Love this video. Those shelves are crazy expensive tho for what you get. The big plants on the top shelf make it look top heavy and seems kinda risky . I’d put those on the floor in front
I be eating those Smores Clusters like it's a one person eating contest. I recently cracked open the Thin Mint balls from Cosco too and now I go to sleep with a headache cause my bodice isn't used to all this sugar
Ok charmaine, love this new set up, but speaking from my own personal experience, every time I have a plant up high, especially with a moss pole, I would get too lazy to properly water the pole/ look for pests, etc... If you are able to take care of them properly up there, then ignore me, but otherwise I feel that is a spidermite infestation waiting to greet you and your new tiny hooman 😅
Even if you don’t replace the boards, you could probably put a clear coat like spar urethane so it’s waterproof and tape won’t damage it. I mean maybe it’s a little late now but that would probably be worth adding to your husbands to do list. lol
Growth definitely slows down in the fall /winter, but otherwise it actually gets plenty of light in the warmer months (direct light as well from a south facing window for a few hours a day) - but I’ve had plants living on the top shelf with this setup for about 6 years now and it really hasn’t been an issue as long as I’m watching my watering!
hellooooo from across the border!! i do use lechuzapon as a potting substrate, yes! i typically only use leca as a reservoir layer in my no drainage vessels (i have a video on this if you search no drainage on my channel) or also as a rooting substrate :)
A part of being a plant parent is CONSTANTLY re adjusting your set up 😂
So true. I feel like that's what keeps it exciting for me! Winter is the perfect time for this too.
I am glad to hear this is normal for a plant parent.
Not me scream whispering "pivot" as they move the Thai
Out of all the plant youtubers i watch, your set ups have and continue to be my absolute favourite, your eye for placement is superb 👌❤
Not sure if you had thought about this or even would like the idea or look of it but you could get clear acrylic stands (like for desktop monitors) and stagger the heights of some of the plants at the very top shelf.
9:18 the way you two sidestep in tandem is couples goals.

I love the way you and Vince communicate. It’s so wholesome ❤️

why did it take so long for me to find such a beautiful channel!!! congratulations on the baby!!!❤️❤️
I like when Vince does a cameo in your videos.

I was thinking the same thing 🤔 the cost of it,and it being fake wood,is ridiculous lol ,but I understand 😊

Ahhhh yay!! Clicked so fast😅🏃♀️💨 I love plant shelf/styling/decor videos 🥰🥰🥰 I hope you had a Merry Christmas!! 🎄❤️💚
Girl yes I always have the Kirkland smores on deck

it looks perfect!!! I’m so glad you were able to get the second shelf 🤩
Thanks for the inspiration! This looks beautiful!

Such coordinated effort for the thai 😅!
Great job Vince!
Thank you Vince !

Damn that looks incredible. Thanks for sharing!
It looks absolutely amazing!
Love the new shelf 💚💚
It looks lovely and definitely worth the hard work 👏 💚
I be eating those Smores Clusters like it's a one person eating contest. I recently cracked open the Thin Mint balls from Cosco too and now I go to sleep with a headache cause my bodice isn't used to all this sugar
Use the Velcro command strips. That way you can change things around without damaging the shelf
It's stunning!

fantastic shelves incl the acrylic floating shelves!! what kind of yucca plant is that?
What an interesting little room window above the shelves. I’ve never noticed that before! Drooling over the set up!
Such a ♎️ ❤
Could you drill small clips into the shelf for the lights? Not much damage that way
Even if you don’t replace the boards, you could probably put a clear coat like spar urethane so it’s waterproof and tape won’t damage it. I mean maybe it’s a little late now but that would probably be worth adding to your husbands to do list. lol
use magnets for lights, super glue magnets on shelf and lights. I bought a pack of 10 strong magnets for like equivalent of 4 dollars from temu
She-ra. You rock !
Try to moisten the tape with water carefully maybe use a syringe with a towel to control the water just go slow but it should work....😊😊😊😊
When are you due to deliver Archie?
💚💚
Do the plants at the top of the shelf do well up there? They cant even see the sky from that angle, weird how they even have enough light to grow.
I keep saying 'LAST and FINAL' aswell, but then you know what happens....😂
New sub here from Spokane Valley Wa 😊 do you plant in pon, pond, leca???
hellooooo from across the border!! i do use lechuzapon as a potting substrate, yes! i typically only use leca as a reservoir layer in my no drainage vessels (i have a video on this if you search no drainage on my channel) or also as a rooting substrate :)
🫶💚🪴💚
You’re gonna want to put up baby photos
1st... 😍
I did not need that Kirkland s’mores push! 🫣 I work at Costco & have been trying to avoid them for forever 😅 & I’m also pregnant 🤪
