  • January 15, 2015 -- Every year, devotees of the Sr. Sto. Niño in Bula, General Santos City make every effort to honor their patron. Hundreds of decorated sea vessels from various sizes join the fluvial procession to give thanks for the blessings they receive. This procession is done at early morning and is accompanied by praying, singing, dancing, and a lot of cheering from the devotees echoing the phrase "Pit Senior" while celebrating the annual feast. Each year, a fishing company is given the privilege to be the carrier of the Patron that is why Rodrigo and Lorna Gere of RLGFI, with the rest of their employees, are very happy for this rare chance of having Sr. Sto Niño on board. Thousands of faithful devotees also gathered at the shore of the Queen Tuna Park to welcome Sr. Sto. Niño from the fluvial parade. Along with the images of Sto. Niño, faces of Pope Francis are also displayed everywhere to celebrate his papal visit in the Philippines. #PitSenyor #Sinulog2015 #PopeFrancisPH
