Got back home from my first big trip where my only non tailfin pack was my bar bag, easily the worst, most annoying bag to use on my trip, just to see you guys have released this lol. I'll definitely be picking one up for my next trip
The setup you have seen was a prototype that had, before failing, travelled the length of South America with no issues. Prototypes are designed for testing different setups/materials and this one had a material failure that we were able to identify easily and rectify completely for the production versions. You will be happy to note that the production version passed our fatigue testing by more than four times compared to the prototype!
My bank account is going to take another beating.....🙈 It just so happens that your small drop bar bag will help out my current setup, where I'm carrying all the weight on the back of my bike. With the bar bag, I can stash a few kilos on the front. Geeeze, you lot think of everything 😅🙌
Unfortunately the best stuff always comes at the highest price. There are hundreds of other options that are cheaper, but if you want the best there is you need to accept that it comes at a premium
Oh no. Such a nice product which cant be used on half of modern bikes :( Why you just disregarded bikes without rounded handlebars? Even gravel bikes got them, not talking about road bikes. I got three bikes with tailfin bags - your mounting solution wont fit even one of them.
I'm guessing you have flat aero bar tops. I have them on one of my many bikes, but because they are not one piece bar/stem they are round in centre so a stem can clamp around then and so this bag will also fit on them. For folk with a one piece bar stem with aero non-round bars then there's no simple solution other than making a clamp specific to each and every variation of such a setup. Not worth it because there are multiple shapes, plus such designs are definitely not of half of modern bikes. Let alone the subset of bike types such an item will tend to be fitted to for bikepacking. Not sure anyone I've ever ridden with has bars these won't fit to. I don't tend to ride with pro road racers it has to be said. Ridden with a few World/national champion MTBers though.
I’ve been putting off buying a bar bag for bike packing as I knew this was being developed. So glad I waited, this looks awesome.
Enjoy your next trip, where are you going to go?
Yet another winner Tailfin. Brilliant. Now I gotta save to replace my old bag… love it.
Im sold on this- getting one asap. Sorry Mr Bank Manager, but im buying some more Tailfin Products😂
I didn't expect anything less. Well done Tailfin🎉

That next trip is going be dreamy
As always with Tailfin, a very well thought-out system! The only drawbacks I can see are the rather high weight and the extremely high price-point.
These look amazing... so well thought through!
So glad you take your time, to get it right. Your products are so good!!
We're always pushing to make the best products we can
i need tailfin hip pack soon for bikepacking
I've seen some pictures of these being sheared off and broken during testing. I hope you guys got all the kinks ironed out since it looks really good!

These look really well done, but unfortunately not very aero; hopefully a bag for aero bars might follow in the future...
Watch this space
Too expensive for me to justify.. But it looks like an exceptional system.
Love it
ハンドルバーとの固定は良さそうですがロールトップのバッグしか選択肢がないのが残念です。

You're welcome, sounds like you're next trip is going to be amazing
Love their designs but for each and every item they make, they take the absolute most expensive item on the market and seem to add another 50% on top.
Haha so true but there’s no compromise… it works

Buy once, cry once 😅
@ArmandGirard My bank is still crying lololol 😂

What's the point of the comment?
