Gaza Ceasefire Live Updates | Hostages Return To Their Families In Israel After Being Freed By Hamas

The Israeli army announces the release of two Israeli hostages held in Gaza since October 7 2023. Palestinian militant group Hamas hands over Yarden Bibas and Ofer Kalderon as part of a truce to end the 15-month war in Gaza. The Israeli military confirms that Kalderon a French-Israeli dual national and Bibas are handed over to a Red Cross official in Khan Younis. Bibas is the father of baby Kfir who is 9 months old at the time of the kidnapping and Ariel who is 4. Hamas says in November 2023 that the boys and their mother Shiri were killed in an Israeli airstrike but there is no further confirmation.
