Unrelated to this video but i saw tiffany’s stories on ig and would like to cheer her up. Theres always ppl finding faults in other ppl no matter how perfect/kind in them. Im not sure if you are the kindest person in the word but u are the kindest person i have seen on youtube :). I know those words hurt you a lot thats why you had that quote “be kind, keep striving”. Never let those people stop u from doing greater things. Dont ruin ur mood just because of those haters who claim to give u “constructive” criticisms. I know u have been working very hard and reading all ur fans’ DMs about classical music. I was really touched and impressed when you put those amount of efforts. The amount of hours, editing.. you could have chose not to do those. But you were really kind and u want to give back to the community despite all the rude remarks. You are doing well tiffany. The world is a better place with someone like you. Your fans will be here for you alright. -be kind, keep striving 🎵

I think a lot of people fail to recognize and/or are completely unaware of what it is like to be a classical musician, an artist in general, in the 21st century. They have no idea of what it is like to practice so many hours a day every single day from a very young age and touring for months to make a living. I love this, I am a pianist myself. I’ve been play for for 14 years. My piano teacher is blind and I would always wear a hair tie on my wrist, like you are in this video, and she didn’t like that, so when ever she caught me (feeling it on my wrist when she was checking my technique) she would snap it lightly and be like take it off lol. I just had my last lesson with her as I just graduated high school and this reminded me of all the good times we had over the past 20 years she’s been in my family. I love your videos so much. I also love when I’ve played songs that you have, makes me feel a bit better about my talent lol.

This video is 4 years old by now, but thank you for posting this! Sometimes, for me, it helps to see others practice and play, but that’s very unlikely for me to see because piano can be more of a solo/isolating instrument. Their fingers shifting around the keys making delightful music, it’s such a joy to watch. These videos push me to keep going because I love to watch you work through the pieces. I hope to find more videos on UA-cam like these, but so far no luck except for this one live piano practice session I saw maybe 6 months ago…This though is a good reminder that even the best pianists take time to practice and hone their skills :)

There's just people who try to criticize everything they come across and we can't stop that. What we can do tho is to accept the fact that haters exist, and focus on the positive parts instead, your supporters! I know this might seem really sudden, but because just yesterday a Japanese artist committed suicide due to internet hate, so I figured I wanted to show some support in some way. So yeah please remember that we all have your back. Keep striving and stay positive!

Great, the new initiatives you started and that will really mean something for many people. Good thinking, and important to reach out to others. And yet, know that it is YOU, sitting behind the piano, strolling the streets on a new adventure, pondering about the many things that pass a musical mind, the practising and even the meals that are the essence. Great to see you practice and share it with us. You have a real place in the musical scene, because you help us understand and be inspired about (classical) music and the work, talent and emotions that are essential ingredients of a great performance.

I love this. I always loved a piece more when I played it even if I didn't feel an attachment right away. And this is as if I was practicing myself so it fills me with a sort of joy to listen. ❤️

I'm on Premium, so for me the ad WAS skippable, but I still skipped back and watched it. It was great!! Fun practice session. As for Instagram, you know you're doing something right if have one or two detractors trying to tear you down. I think when all is said and done, even the snooty purists will recognize your contributions as a performer and as a liaison between social media and classical music.

    - what a joy! Watching and listening to you practice - along with the annotations - is like attending a master class with you! If I were studying this piece I would find your "working through" the passages highly instructive! In fact, it makes me want to start learning this piece so I can try what you're doing! But - wow! Thanks for sharing! Sounds like you and the Steinway 'D' are becoming good friends - that was a great choice to pick that one - did you give it a name yet? :-)

Wow, so cool! I've been doing a similar thing on my channel lately and it's a ton of fun! I'm trying to do 30 days in a row recording my practice for one piece (Debussy's Girl with the Flaxen Hair), starting from nothing and trying to get it performance ready by the end of July.

Been a while since I have seen ur vids (I don't know why LOL). It is really seeing you make practice videos. Seeing these kinds of practice videos gives me more motivation for playing the cello consistently. I have been playing cello since the outbreak occurred (after a hiatus with college and my first job)
