Properly opening and closing a Learjet door is a skill by itself.
this guy learjets
Landed a C182 at KTEX (Tell-U-Ride) a few years ago and it was a blast! A dream come true for me, ever since getting my PPL twenty five years ago. Living and flying on the east coast USA, it was amazingly breathtaking to see the Rockies! I went in February, so the mountains were covered in snow. Beautiful sight. This Lear 35A looks very impressive and I'm already a fan of their C414. It's incredible in VR. I think I'll pick this up and start enjoying it in VR as well. Nice video, thanks 👍🏾
Emmanuel you nailed that landing and flair like a boss lol! I thought it was gonna be a slammer when I saw how fast you were moving across the runway about 50ft off the ground. I guess that’s why they pay you those pilot euros my friend! 😂
😂😅👍
Flight Sim look so good. Had the privilege to fly the cirrus into here a couple of weeks ago for real. It is every bit as beautiful and they even have the wind effects right on short final. So cool to watch you hit some of my local fields.
Absolutely breathtaking is all I kept saying to the CFI when I landed his Skylane there a few years ago! I took a mountain flying coarse with a local CFI. Landed on 27
Always deploy the spoilers after touch down, that will plant you firmly on the ground.
That looks like an amazingly immersive aircraft I know it’s probably 50$ but still the shades can open and you can click the door open that’s amazing and the passengers have names and change seats like this is the best one done yet maybe
It’s 40$ and I fully agree, it is an amazing plane. But if work in progress, but surely on the right track!
You need to get the telluride by UK 2000 because it just makes that scenery so much better. Love flying into there.
Love watching a pro at work, great video 👍👍🫡
Sweet landing, you nailed it!
Thank you!
To uncase the artificial horizon turn on the emergency battery on standby. Thanks for the video.
Been flying this a lot it’s really great and getting updates everyday been great fun and most interesting. It’s is a will become a wonderful addition to the sim
Couldn't agree more!
Nice fiight, thanks!
Another plane to look forward to!
You can buy it already! It’s available as early access on flysimwares website.
Thanks for the great videos. I’ve been watching 2-3 a day and learning a lot!
Btw: it’s tell-YOU-rIde 😊
I thought he was saying "tenerife" 😂
I would love for you to do some commercial VFR flights without RNAV or RNP systems from time to time.
While i was doing my CBIR there were plenty of videos showcasing different techniques and practical information to use in flight, however there are few, if any videos on this topic and essentially for the CPL (ulm trough ppl even) you're stuck with what the FI has to teach you in flight.
Not to mention techniques for taking fixes while flying above a layer of few or scattered clouds, flying close to the absolute minima to avoid or escape bad weather...etc
I'd really like to see a flight with the Lear in Europe with the GTN, for example to Samedan.
Hi Emmanuel, I love this plane, it's really fun to go so fast. Your videos are essential to learn how to fly it realistically. Thanks.
Is there a reason why you didn't deploy the spoilers?
I fly that route at 16000 feet with the TBM 850.
No, this is a simulator and it’s spot on the Lear 35 always had problems even with the avionics that shit was always in the hanger. We were pulling engines out stripping it down there was always a ride up from the captain. Something is always wrong with that jet, I mean it was built back in the 70s
Woa, when i saw that cockpit i was very pleasantly surprised so see many dials instead of computer screens. I like that!
But then again, this plane is not the newest egg in the proverbial basket.
This sparked my interest in these smaller jets.
Nice flight. I really really enjoy this plane. You left the (backup?) hydraulic pump off? Is that correct?
The pax was told to get comfortable so he did...punch a hole in the fuselage x)
😂😂😂
Learjet 35's don't do VNAV with the autopilot. They don't have a VNAV function on the autopilot
He's talking about the VNAV calculator on the GNS530 which he uses to calculate the TOD for a given rate of descent. He still has to manually set that ROD.
Nice clip! How the heck are you able to walk so fluently around the aircraft? Trying to do this with the drone camera is so not intuitive since the key get reversed when facing the plane.
It's indeed just the drone camera. I never saw its keys reverse though. Perhabs try and ask for help from the MSFS support.
Spacebar reset the horizon straight ;-)
Thanks!
after that takeoff the engines are for overhaul.
Your version with the foot is pretty old. it’s been updated a great deal to remove passenger foot and many other things latest is 1.05. Lower footstep is click spot on is bit up and right to where you were it’s a plane thing. Thx for the flight
I just bought it yesterday evening, did they really release a new version since? Darn it :D
@@A330Driver it gets updated every other day all I know is the foot was fixed few versions ago.? 1.5?the latest today has sound improvements etc
I can't decide between the new Learjet 35A and the Inibuilds A300. I need a business jet but also need a study level "heavy". I hate having to pick. May be time to flip a coin.
How about the LearJet and then the free ini builds A310. I know it's not the A300 but it's a good plane!
@@martynbrinton The A300 is bugged for me. Can't get it to even power on. It's common for many of us. The developers have acknowledged the issue and said they're working to fix it.
@@Solo6R I'd definetly not "replace" the a300 with the a310. You can't compare those. For now, I'd say the A300 is more finished and the better product. But keep in mind, it's a heavy and not a Longhauler
@Jannik_Stein interesting. Watch a couple of videos and wasn't sure what I was getting extra going to the payware A300 from the free A310. So you'd recommend? I do like the A310 so a better 'study level' is really tempting.
@@martynbrinton the plane is similar, although the a300 is obviously bigger and has different operators. A big bonus is the freighter. The sounds are better and the systems are very realistic, although I have no idea how it compares to the a310. Especially when the PW engines are released there are many more possibilities with the a300. Keep in mind, the a310 was purchased from Microsoft. The a300 isn’t, so it’ll get updates and new features for a long time
What KTEX was that? default or UK2000?
only buying if the nike shoe comes with
How can I walk into the passsengers booth as you did in the beginning of the footage please?
Use Drone cam.
@@TrueBlade-1889 Thanks bro
is it coming to xbox
Is there a reason you don't use the spoilers when landing?
The normal procedures didn't tell me to extend them.
I hope they will develop an FMS. Without one, it's a no-go for me, that's for sure.
They won't. The UNS-1 didn't sell very good in P3d. What's your problem withe the GNS/GTN? The UNS-1 can't be compared to e.g. an a320, there's no VNAV or anything. The GNS is much more advanced and even has a color map built in
It's simply unrealistic, a LJ35 is normally fitted with an FMS. It's like a 737-800 with a GNS530. @@Jannik_Stein
@@sol3cito33that’s just wrong. While many were retrofitted with UNS-1 most of them fly with other GPS systems
It is true though that flying without an FMS nowadays would simply be illegal.
Also most of the world abolished conventional routings and switched to RNAV routes almost exclusively. So if you want to do any kind of realistic flying with it…
@@A330Driver wait, what? What about all those planes using GTNs like PC-12, TBM etc, or planes like the Phenom with a G1000?
Where is the approach mode button on this plane. ? 🧐
You have seperate LOC and GS mode buttons. Use both and you mimic APP on an airliner.
@@A330Driver thank you
Got it , this plane flies a little bit different, but has become my favourite business jet to fly , I love it , and I wouldn’t be able to fly it without looking at this video , thank you very much captain ! ❤
Why did you set local pressure at fl240 when descending? Transition altitude for US is FL180
Local pressure is set once you’re cleared to an altitude, not when passing TL.
Oh? I had no idea. Has it always been that way?@@A330Driver
You set your altitude to whatever the controller tells you to in the U.K. you’ll get clearance such as descend ‘3000 QHN1013’. You also get the local pressure and transition level from the airfield atis or the metar for the pressure only.
@@PilotLHwhat about in the USA? I know transition level when ascending is FL180
@@metroflyboy86 as far as my real life experience goes, I’ve only flown in U.K. so I couldn’t tell you but when I fly in sim I do use 18000 in USA unless told otherwise
F Telluride couple :(
30:52 that's what she said
😂😂😂
...lol I'm not paying 6000 if you can't open the door....
They f****t up chancellor with the latest updates , I hope hey won’t do it with this airplane ! 😂
What happened, I didn't notice it got an update
too much thrust, you're burning up the engines. Older jets you dont push the throttles to the stops.
I've never flown a jet, but I have landed and taken off at this high density airport a few years ago, in a Cessna Skylane. Airframe and engine performance is significantly lower than at lower altitude airports. I'm firewalling those throttles 😂 Also notice that he reduced power after takeoff as he monitored engine temps. This man is a professional ATP, not just a gamer. He knows what he's doing.
@@redtailpilot well he needs some more training....18:17 the left engine is in the red....
@@tomdick693 don't we all 😂
