i was just thinking the same, shes so good, but just drumming in general, training your extremities to work by themselves each to a diff rhythm yet its the same rhythm like i cant get my left hand to do separate timing from my right for the life of me
It isn't hard if you like to do it. But she is pretty incredible

I've been drumming my whole life and it's really a matter of doing a lot of small easy things so many times that you have muscle memory for them and then combining them in to more complex and intricate patterns. It just takes time to develop the muscle memory. It's not as complicated as it seems to someone who doesn't play. She is very good though. Her fill phrasing is perfect. I also really like how she chose to set up her kit. Her snare sounds great and her cymbal selection is on-point for her style.
This is so clean, I'm sure that if Travis saw this he'd be proud.
Considering how much hes been interacting with musically inclined fans in 2020 (pushing a lot of new artists into the scene) I wouldnt be surprised if he actually saw this.

I think only Travis plays it that good.
This is not to shit on her but to let you know that her drums don’t sound like that. It’s all sample replaced in post production. FYI that DOES NOT mean she’s cheating or isn’t actually playing this. Because you have to hit the drum in order to have something to replace

@@WallStreetVikings there are 2 ways to do it, both of which are really quick. Also full disclosure, just because I’m a drummer who knows how this is done doesn’t mean I know how to do it, so this is a heavy on principle/light on fine detail answer. The easiest is to have triggers or you drums. Which GROSSLY oversimplified is a sensor attached to a drumhead that’s creates an electrical signal when the head is struck. That signal gets sent to your computers digital audio workstation (DAW) and is recorded as whatever sample you’ve picked for that drum. Each trigger or microphone gets its own track. So just like in the way ppl talk about a vocal track or a guitar track each drum gets its own track. The second approach is you can have regular microphones on the drums and when that signal gets sent to the DAW you can have it be replaced with whatever sample you’ve picked. If you’re unfamiliar a DAW is just a music production software program, pro tools is by far the most well known but there’s a half dozen others at least: reaper, cakewalk, logic, etc... the way I’ve always seen cymbals done is they use overhead mics and they’re not sample replaced. So the cymbal sounds are the cymbals.
@@clayfoster8234 what would the point be? That seems like a lot of extra steps versus just playing the drums and uploading after noise reduction editing in post. Because in theory you still have to play correctly in order to get the “triggers” in the correct place, right?
She needs to join a band and become a drumming super star like Travis Barker --the way she drums is absolutely amazing. Her talent is beyond anything I've seen here in UA-cam. The quality is concert/ tour worthy!!

This is incredible. I used to play this song sometimes with my band when we toured as our one cover songs and it is not easy to learn, because it almost feels like the bridge ends on an odd beat and it throws you. Everything before the hat-to-snare roll is easy as fuck, but damn! You pretty much have to learn this from muscle memory. Fan-fucking-tastic. Jesus, you have skills, Kristina. Kourtney would be so proud. I expect to see you on the SJC roster soon and I really mean that.

A lot of good drummers on UA-cam these days, but your sound is so good, it's almsot unreal. Definitely better than the vast majority of other channels out there.
