@@vancyhobbies there was actually an episode in the Chaotic Century/Guardian Force when an injured Van actually piloted a captured Rev Raptor and even injured he was able to decimate a good amount of the enemy forces, even using armament they were not aware of how to use (the laser daggers on it's back). So it stands to reason he in his prime would've been able to keep up with a blade liger.
I could never find the Rev Raptor back in the day, I'm so happy to have this one coming in the mail any day now. It looks more stable and solid than the Gun Sniper.
One thing I have to say, which you may have mentioned and I missed, as someone who bought this as their very first kit; Beware the blades. At times handling this zoid is like petting a feral cat.
AH HA! A small relatively easy and relatively inexpensive Zoids model kit to start out with. At the time of my post it's been nearly two years since your video. How is the Rev Raptor holding up?
Since you have experience with mg's you will be fine with HMM zoid kits, they just tend to be bigger. Also my hmm fuhrer is the first run of the kit so it developed some weakness in its ankles over the years, I'm not sure if the new marking plus rectified that.
@@vancyhobbies thanks man, yeah I have the repack version, and have been nervous to start, because I don't want to break anything in a 140 dollar kit. Thank you though man, I look forward to your channel in the future, good luck.
@@Claytronpbr427 I appreciate the kind words, as for the build just take it slow and enjoy the process. I built both sturm tyrann and furher and never ran into an issue with the build.
0:55 that depends. If Van Flyheight, Raven or Vega are in the cockpit, they MAY have a major winning chance.
That's true, we only see scrubs with the raptors.

@@elementxxrider oh that's cool, it's been so long since I watched the zoids anime can't remember much 😅
for me my first zoids were the Hasbro Gunsniper, Dark Horn, and Gordos.
Very nice, wish there was a HMM gordos.
@@vancyhobbies I would love to buy it if it came out in HMM though the one, I would like to see in HMM would be the Madthunder.
@@DarkLibris OMG yes! couldnt agree more.

Ya the newer zoids have been holding up much better. And congrats on getting the raptor!
Thanks for your sharing ❤️
Thanks for watching!

It is still solid, such a good kit that I bought 2 more 😆
Nice review! Subscribed! Where or what are those Zoids stands called?!
Thanks for the support! the base I'm using is the msg flying neo base by kotobukiya
I really want this kit and even found it at my local shop but $55 for this small of a kit seems steep...I do appreciate all the detail though.
Ya I agree, unfortunately zoid kits are quite expensive.
big facts it need to come two to the box that's literally the only reason i haven't brought one
I have a berserk fuhrer kit, do you have any 'beginner' thoughts on it? I've only done mg bandai, no hmms yet.

Have you looked onto those zoids wild biographies kit? Did you like any of those designs?
Their great, if they came out as HMM I would definitely get it.
