Yeah when you finish listening to electric Kingdom you pretty much have to listen to this. And when you were shuffle skating if they didn’t play this after electric kingdom you were pissed
Thanks for your comment, coming from someone born in 88 these are the little notes that are more important than any others, they bring that time alive for those that weren't there
+Sun Light 1 Kraftwerk yeah. But Soul Sonic Force and Planet Rock (with the beat and the "'TR-808' sound" provided by Planet Patrol) really POPULARIZED the whole thing, 'putting it on the map'. THEN (one year later) came Planet Patrol, sounding all like The Temptations with "Play At Your Own Risk" (the VERY BEST of them jams)... And then ALL of the copycats (including 'Twilight 22' and SO many others) followed after that.
In music as far as intellectual property goes the drum beat or drum patterns cannot be copyrighted only the lyrics and the music, thus any music producer can use the same drum pattern. So no matter if the song is Planet Rock, Siberian Nights, Electric Kingdom etc, what it really matters is that ALL are great jams!
