Small Boat SLAY!! 9 Different Species on a 23' SeaCraft! Burned Less than 5 Gallons of Gas!

Most fishermen feel the further they go the better the fishing will be when more often than not there is great fishing to be had right under your nose! The fish don't know how big your boat is and they don't care how fast it goes. Present a quality bait in front of them and you are going to catch fish on any boat of any size!! In this video we joined Captain Ron Mitchem and his best friend Ed Weisenberger for a fishing adventure on board Ron's 1984 23' Seacraft called Crazy Water. Ron and Ed are life long friends and members of our Bluewater Movements tournament committee for over 25 years! We are so blessed to have amazing people like them involved in our events.
Captain Ron fished tournament for years on his 23' Seacraft with great success. He even won two boats as top prizes in tournaments that they fished! Some of the most memorable catches on his 23' Seacraft include a 77 pound wahoo, 170 pound yellowfin and several IGFA world records for his wife Lynne!
In this video, Ron & Ed share one of their favorite fishing areas with us. We came out of Hillsboro Inlet and ran only a few miles south to the anchor balls between Pompano Pier and Commercial pier. Anchor balls are common up and down the coast to mark areas for snorkeling and mooring your boat. They typically hold ballyhoo year round as well.
