Alex Theme (Piano Cover)

No I did not make a spelling error, it's really called "Alex Theme." Bother the hell out of me. This is from the game Prey from 2017 which I recently had the pleasure of playing through. Honestly, Arkane never misses. Every one of the their games would be in my top 20 games list. Recently I've been having a very rough time and this song really spoke to me. I don't know what has been going on but I feel completely hopeless and empty. A bit of solace has been the new mic and mic placement. I did a lot of takes to get this piece sounding good as for the first time I felt I could really hear myself. I placed the mic directly in the piano and found I didn't even need any reverb or echo to get a good sound, just some EQ. I can really hear the nuances in my playing in these recordings and... I need work. A lot of work. I know what I have to practice and how to practice. I'll be at 100 subscribers hopefully soon, and once I see that number I will record Chopin's Nocturne in Db. Hopefully by then in that recording, I will hear the changes in my playing I am trying to make. Most notably, a softer and more melodic touch. For now, I hope that you enjoy this piece and the resonance made from only lifting the pedal once or twice. I loved this piece on the guitar as in the original but could find no piano cover.
