- The greedy kittens compete for food, so I built a simple fence.
At first, they got hooked on it and ate it quietly! ?
I thought that for a moment...
After all, it didn't work for a naughty kitten😅

Watching kittens learn to use the litter box is hilarious. They go in there looking like they don’t know why they are in there, and they don’t know what’s happening. Then they get to dig!

I loved this!! From an experimental point of view, the kittens ate from each of their plates but soon seemed to want the company of their siblings (and their food!). After all, these kittens nursed side by side in one big fuzzy warm group for weeks. This wonderful video showed the social side of eating!
Cats are social eaters by nature. That's why they like to hang around when their humans are eating, even if it's not something they'd like to eat themselves.
They were just looking for more food.

@@ttintagelYes! Our cat Rufus always had a healthy appetite in his younger years, but as a 17-year-old his appetite isn't as good as it once was. We found that when we bring him to us for his meals, whether it's on the computer desk or at the dinner table with us, he eats much better. He has his own place at the table now, we have trained him to stay in his chair, and he eats dinner with the family. He eats cat food, we eat people food, but we all dine together as a family.

И всегда есть те которые едят быстро и бегом по другим мискам! И те кто наелись съев чуть чуть… и скромняги которые «подожду пока другие поедят», приходят и смотрят в пустую миску…
Тут разделили чтобы наглые не съели у остальных)
Мы отдельно докармливали медленных)))))
Они и физически слабее и чаще последние рождались! А то и вообще думали что не выживет…

Это бывает дома объедаются, а потом проблемы со здоровьем!
А так по природе - 3 часа мышь ловил и съел! И это усё….
Они наелись и начали играть, в том числе с едой.

I love the sounds of the kittens licking up their food!
The adorable kitten siblings may be cute, cuddly and innocent looking but they are quite intelligent and cunning and will find a way to circumvent any measures to gain more food 😁😂 Moco, Nagi, Kotetsu, May and Hana may appear to compete for food but most of all, they enjoy eating together with their big brother Latte and wonderful parents Lulu and Leo. Well, I'd say that worked, in spite of how it ended up. For a quite awhile they were satisfied to eat in their own little box.
HaHa! Cats will always do their own thing. Love it when they look over the top of the barrier to see what’s happening next door and then tread on it! So sweet❤

With three cats and two dogs*, all of whom are convinced that *anybody else's food* just *has* to be better than their own food, the only solution that works is to put each one in a separate room and close the doors until all food is consumed. They all understand the drill now, and even know without prompting which room they are to go to.
*Two Maine Coons, a Siamese, a Sheltie, and a Standard Poodle.
Yes, the ones that try to eat the others food they get fed in the separate room. Simple solution. But this guy probably doesn’t have six separate rooms. I had a sheltie, and I also had a Maine coon and at one point I did want a standard poodle.
I wish my mom had done this with the 5 of us kids lol.
Had to do that with out horses and ponies loose in a field. They learned their places quickly, and stood to be haltered snd ties. Nobody loose until all finished

Awww...The barrier idea to prevent kittens from competing for baby food seems to work, but only temporarily. These adorable little angels are really hungry and go around the fence and even mother Lulu eats with them 🤗😻💖🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈❤🥰🍚💕🐾🌠

Oh man we rescued this little kitten from a pipe. The mother must have abandoned it because it was stuck in there a little bit. This kitten barely had its eyes open. But boy when it got a little finger it was a holy terror. She was always a small cat so she must have been the grunt of the litter the boy shall always thought she was 10 feet tall and bulletproof. She saved me from my condo being burned down when the coffee maker caught fire. I will always miss that cat she died at 10 years old for some reason.

close to their litter box.
Very unsanitary, plus can lead to
cats avoiding the use of the litter box at all.
Cats are naturally very clean animals.
Cross contamination will
also cause illnesses in cats.
@@hummingbird11 that's true. I didn't notice the water there. I've seen people do that. place the food and the water right beside the litter boxes. why people do that I don't know. my litter boxes are in a separate room away from everything.

That one sure has an appetite
I do the same thing with my adult cats, at least in effect. I give them a morning wet food feed. The place I put their bowls is on a rubber pad. The pad has their dry food in a larger bowl, (that is down all the time). I put their wet food on separate sides of that on the pad. The dry food bowl acts as a barrier so there is no conflict. Before I had that separation, the female cat would push my male cat away from the bowl he was eating from. But he would let her, and then go over to the other bowl. But, then she would stop eating from the bowl she had pushed him from and push him from her original bowl. (Little pig!) He would just go back and forth between bowls in response. The separation stopped that pretty much, but just as soon as he finished up what he wanted from his bowl, she would come over and eat what was left, or at least check it out to see if there was something left in his bowl. (Even when she still had food remaining in her bowl.) Cats are funny.
I like the nice little set up seperating the kittens having them in their own space while eatting.🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈😺😺😺💖

Lol my kitten would eat a little bit of his food then go eat my older cat's food and my older one eats his food and my kitten will eat hers. It was tough in the beginning because he would eat so much in one time. I had to separate them so my oldee one could eat and the little one wouldn't over eat...i want more now. They're so cute!
