I got into the bloodhound gang when my brother gave me a bag of clothes that did not fit him anymore and one of the shirts said bloodhound gang so then I wore it in middle school and my counselors asked me who is the blood hound gang. The my parents made me threw out that shirt. So I looked em.up and been listening to them since middle school.
In 1999 I got a earful from my dad when I was singing that song... I was 8 so I kinda get that I shouldn't be singing about sex but it was on the radio I think I heard it on the bus the first time...

^ unfortunately they are correct. jimmy pop calls himself “retired” in regards to bhg but he’s still making music and slowly releasing it. but bhg is no more, and he implied to me that he doesn’t want to do more work for this band. they haven’t been dead since 2015, more like 2017, but since there wasn’t an official statement from the band and no one ever cites jimmy pop’s actual tweets lmao, everyone thinks the band is on another extended hiatus. they’re not though, it’s been done for 5 years. i’m sorry. :( but there are plentiful amounts of demos, eps, b-sides, live shows, and other rarities that will forever keep bhg’s music fresh as long as you mix it up consistently. despite this i still experience random people i dont know coming up to me and commenting on my bloodhound gang tattoo which i love because usually they tell me their stories of being in college while bhg was at their pique. that said, it’s up to us fans to keep the band’s spirit alive now. i can say for a fact that their candle hasn’t fizzled out yet, the flame is a bit weaker but those who care have not forgotten about them!
