Its literally the same Clone Wars. Take off your nostalgia googles. Same people that said that the Mandalorian was “ruined” because there were filler episodes.
@@arbynChief617 Wrong. We've only got 5 episodes left and haven't seen any Maul, Mandalore or real separtist action. Anakin and Obi Wan have been on screen for a grand total of 10 minutes each after 7 episodes. Every other jedi has been featured less. Instead we've spent 25% of the season with two idiots doing stuff that has nothing to do with the republic or separtists, only some gangsters that are irrelevant to the big picture
I think Bo is referring to the pykes as the ‘common enemy’ as Ashoka is being chased by them and they part of Maul’s shadow collective so obviously at odds with Bo and her Nite Owls/part of death watch
Trace is the most annoying character in Star Wars history. And yes I realize Rose, Jar Jar, and Season 1 Ahsoka exist. I just want this arc to be over with
I think at some point that needs to happen not EVERY episode has to have progress but if this season wasn’t so short I would’ve liked it. But it’s only 12 episodes, so yea I kinda agree.
@KNIGHTOFTHEWIND THEHEDGEHOG Not a good look for Filoni. I'm starting to question his talent given that he worked on Rebels and Resistance. Maybe Lucas was the reason why TCW was good in the first place...
There’s one scene that really miffed me, and it was the moment where one of the Pike gangsters gets his head crushed in by the elevator. Normally, I’d appreciate a dark moment like that in Clone Wars. However, it didn’t really flow with the whole tone of the episode. In the Citadel arc, we saw a clone trooper get sliced in half by a metal security door. Later in that same episode, an unarmed clone is executed via by being shot in the face point-blank. These deaths worked because the Citadel arc consisted of a series of high-stakes episodes and helped display the ruthlessness of the Citadel’s defenses and of the warden who runs it. Going back to S7:E7, seeing such a ‘grisly’ death in what was a generally tame episode really brought me out of the experience. Edit: I’m wondering if anyone else is feeling the same way.
That death was the most exciting thing to come out of this arc so far. The sisters are the most annoying characters in star wars history. And I really hate Ahsoka's decision to hide her powers in life and death situations to protect their precious little feelings. This arc is so disappointing. So yes I really appreciate a death like that in this arc
This season sucks honestly I don’t get how they could mess up a clone wars season. Edit: I really enjoyed the bad batch arc but the Ashoka arc is just really boring and I feel like their could’ve been other characters that could’ve had a chance to shine like Grievous,Dooku,or even Cad Bane but no we’re going to focus on Rafa and the other one
Even if 1 of the 3 arcs isn’t good how does that make it bad? There isn’t a single clone wars season where every arc is good, season 5 has 5 arcs and only 2 of them are incredible, it’s still a fantastic season.
@@Blue-Apple-fc9eo The season is well over half completed. I think people are more than fare to judge it's poor plot progression and filler at this point.

Instead of this being a four episode arc take the sisters out, and just focus on Ahsoka walk about arc for two episodes. Then Palpatine’s capture arc. Then the Mandalorian arc. Today’s episode was a Wasted episode that could have just been the end of this arc. To wait a whole week for this episode is Disappointing.

Jason Vogt yeah I agree, but I’m very grateful and I understand why there’s only 12 episodes. Dave Filoni said that’s all the cast could contain spoilers and he said it’s a very challenging show to make, again.
This feels like a miniseries setting up a future Asoka spinoff rather than the final season of Clone Wars. The writing in particular for the two sisters is giving me Rebels vibes (in not in a good way) in the sense that they do dumb stuff to set up this arc. We are running out of time here. I hope these last episodes are worth it.
They should release the final 4 episodes of the season all at once to watch in the form of a movie like Filoni intended. The viewing experience is completely different when you take it all in at once vs when your forced to spread it out over a course of 4 weeks
Yeah I was expecting more for the "Final Season" and only 12 episodes, but the season isn't over yet so idk. Maybe the last 5 will make up for the underwhelming episodes we just got.
I hope the next episode is the last we see of the sisters. This arc would have been better if instead we saw more of Anakin's fall to the dark side while still focusing on Ahsoka.
I don’t understand the sisters said they were young kids when that stuff happened and their parents were killed but in the timeline it would of been about a year ago? Anakin has barely aged since that arc with Cad Bane and zero. Are the sisters like 12 years old?
They're probably around Ahsoka's age, the show spans the Clone Wars which is like four years. Ahsoka was like 14 when the show started and now she's about 16.
I mean yeah they're written on purpose to be really naive about the world which makes sense for their age whereas Ahsoka, being a Jedi, is a lot more wise despite being around the same age
Now it will be even harder to escape. The only redeeming thing about this episode is the Mandos noticing them. Then they get caught again; hopefully, we can ditch the sisters they are a waste of space no real proper character development for them Ashoka is being pulled down by these two idiots she should have ditched them tbh I wouldn't shed a tear they have been nothing but problems for Ashoka the only reason she came in the first place is just because she wants to keep them out of trouble? Why would she care she has NO connections to them maybe if it was one girl instead of two who just argue and argue there is no point to helping them she should have left at the beginning of the second episode of the arch she shouldn't have gone with them she would be better off without them. I would have preferred after the first Ashoka episode she should be sidelined for a minute then do the Crystal arch with Obi-Wan Anakin and Grievous, after that 3 episode arch they should have the Jedi return to the Resolute, to have Rex tell them they are needed on the bridge. From there play that ending moment on the trailer and boom! DONE do the Mandalore arch and everyone is happy. No crime syndicate bs, no stupid sister dynamic. Even if you say Ashoka is having character development, she has had that already she knows the Jedi are not what they seem she has experienced it herself. She doesn't need any more development don't get me wrong I LOVE Ashoka but this is just not doing her justice. this has some serious issues and was not made correctly not to mention we know things were changed when they were fine but no we can't have a guy we need two girls who can't have normal looks and need to be idiots the whole damn time. Sorry Dave but this is not what you made and I KNOW IT. this is a mess now I have to pray that the finale of the arch can save us. and maybe just maybe the last arch can return to our roots. P.S bad batch was great besides the decimator which had no reason to be afraid unless you saw the unfinished episode which actually made sense now I understand the violence is a no-no but you could cut away from the alien getting killed and boom no issue like what you did with the Pike with the elevator.
For real. Something I noticed when rewatching the trailer for season 7 is Ashoka never directly kills the mandalorians in the sequence where they’re attacking republic gunships when in season 5 she had no problem straight up decapitating 4 or 5 mandalorians on the snow planet with lux. The end of the clone war is supposed to be dark. I hope they don’t ruin siege of mandalore trying to make it Disney friendly. It’s a Clone *War* for fucks sake. People are supposed to die
@@SonOfExcess Right? Disney is only giving them 12 episodes and they're still trying to squeeze in filler. For what reason? This episode didn't progress at all.
@@TheRealNorth21 They could've done a character based episode that involves a progressing plot. These sisters better play a useful role in the grand scheme of this season or else they're just wasting time and might as well be filler characters.

Looking forward to the Boba and Bane arc. But we got an arc like this instead
And the Utapau story. I remember watching the rough cut of it, and found it to be far more entertaining than what has been presented so far.
I was kind of hoping Ahsoka & the sisters would escape fully in this episode, but I guess we'll just have to wait a little more.

I could be wrong but I believe the only members left in the shadow collective are the mandalorians. It’s been a while since I’ve read it but I think the pyke and black sun left after the events of the Darth maul comic
Assuming this take place after the Son of Dathomir comic, the Pykes bailed on Maul, so what is Bo trying to accomplish?

O R D E R 66
Hanakin Sidewalker agreed👍
yes, that was weird too
Reminds me of how family friendly rebels was.

You forgot to mention the mando on the Bo-Katans right our left is sabine wrens mom (Ursa Wren). Which is cool.
I don't like how this one ends in exactly the same place as it starts after all the effort
One of the Mandos with Bo Katan is Sabine Wrens mom
For anyone who watched the Credits one of the Mandalorians with Bo Katan was named Ursa Wren. I think that might be sabine's mother.
well said, your exactly true, that was the mother of sabine wren from rebels!
They should release the final 4 episodes of the season all at once to watch in the form of a movie like Filoni intended. The viewing experience is completely different when you take it all in at once vs when your forced to spread it out over a course of 4 weeks
Fun fact one of the Mandalorians next to Bo was Ursa, Sabine’s mother
Three disappointing episodes in a row this is starting to feel like rebels with a clone wars skin over it
These episodes arw very much Clone Wars, just not what we needed.
Yeah I was expecting more for the "Final Season" and only 12 episodes, but the season isn't over yet so idk. Maybe the last 5 will make up for the underwhelming episodes we just got.
i could see the exposition already, the fact that rafa hates the jedi
That mando next to Bo-Katan was Ursa Wren, Sabine’s mom.
we know that.
Yeah I’m curious and confused too, maybe they were teenagers when their parents died and now young adults?
Star Wars was never good with time... I mean look how much obi wan aged in the span of 19 years 😂 those twin suns do a lot of skin damage I guess
They're probably around Ahsoka's age, the show spans the Clone Wars which is like four years. Ahsoka was like 14 when the show started and now she's about 16.
it would explain their idiocy
I mean yeah they're written on purpose to be really naive about the world which makes sense for their age whereas Ahsoka, being a Jedi, is a lot more wise despite being around the same age
Ursa Wren is with Bo!
Jake Adnams Amazing. Everything u just said there was true. 10/10 👏
