listening to this while writing the second chapter of my story about a woman who sells poison for toxic men✨✨ edit: Hello everyone! For those of you who asked about my story, I'm sorry to disappoint y'all. I... stopped writing it. Life has been reallly tough for me right now. I can relate :) Been learning French on and off for 3 and a half years and I get really excited when I read a sentence and automatically understand what it says :D
I wrote this mini story and i know it doesn't rlly relate to this playlist i though you might want to read anyways :) It's Friday night. You've had such a long week working your 9 to 5 interning position, serving extra hours to the point where your brain can't function to its full capability. You can't take any partying, despite your roommates insisting tone, you decide it would be much more full-filling to spend the evening in the cosy walls of the jazz bar, just down the road from your housing block. You're just getting used to city life here in Paris, it still feels so surreal to be here though, the enormous opportunity just handed to you, just like that, and then suddenly your interning at one of the highest end fashion enterprises. You check your watch and it reads 6:12pm, you gaze out into the city and can't help but admire all its beauties. You think of how lucky you are to be here. You don't even regret leaving your home country behind. You're just so content and happy here, you wouldn't dream of booking a return ticket back. All your troubles just sink away into a quiet abyss, and your eyes drift over to the band, the beautiful jazz playing soft and improvised, so that it completely fills you with calm. You take a few moments to just appreciate the gorgeous plucking of the cello, twiddling of the grand piano, soft tapping of the maraca and symbols, and absorb all this peaceful energy floating all around you. The window is slightly ajar, so you feel the soft May breeze sift gently though your hair, smelling amazing smells coming from the Bakery in the building next to you. That reminds you of the delicious pastries over by the bar; croisants, pan au raisin, éclairs, macaroons, crepes, madeleines and cannelés. Your body instantly fills with delight and you call over the kind waiter, stood over by the register. He comes over eagerly, and you say to him how your desperately craving for a warm crepe, with sugar and lemon drizzled over the top, sprinkled with fresh blueberries. Oh, and a nice, hot latte with cinnamon! He nods and grins, walking happily back to the bar to place the order. You turn your head back to the window. Just then, you realise you couldn't be any happier. You feel as free as the wind, anything could happen, you can do anything you please. The world truly is your oyster! For anyone reading this, just know you are loved, even though you might not know it, there is someone out there who would give anything to be around you 24/7. In times like this, we miss our family, our friends, we just want everything to go back to normal. I beg of you, just call them! Or text them, email them, write them a card, skype them, arange a family zoom call why not! It will truly make their day. Right now more than ever we need to make people feel they are loved. Happy 2021 everyone. It's nearly February, meaning 11 more months until 2022, 334 days until christmas :) Look forward to spring and summer where the days are long and sunny, or snowy and rainy, wherever you are in the world! This playlist is absolutely amazing. I've always wanted to go to France and learn their way of baking. I'm currently 17 in my last year of highschool at a tech school for baking and pastry arts. I listen to this while I'm baking in school. Hopefully one day I have my own bakery and I can play this in the bakery.
Me studying: "oh this is nice." also me: "Run away to Paris! Do it now! Fulfill your desires and disappear from your friends and live in Paris by yourself"
The second song is Les Yeux Ouverts performed by Emilie-Claire Barlow. I wanted to add it to my Spotify and realized the listed title and artist are incorrect so I wanted to list the correct info for anyone else looking 👍
Hello, I propose you to listen the version of ENZO ENZO (french woman singer). Take the opportunity, also, to listen "juste quelqu'un de bien" ; it' s her best song. -;)
This is too funny. I went to find the second to last song on Spotify, which is listed here as "Les Yeux Ouverts", but is actually the second song your refering to by Carolie Clemont ! Guess they got them mixed up some how lol

Going back to a time where I'm sitting in an attic room reading, with this music playing somewhere and the rain pouring outside the windows. Add to that the train whistle coming from a far. And all this while in France. Ah dreams!!
P.O.V : sitting on a chair outside on the balcony , thinking of what to write in your story...you take a sip of your drink as you looked down to see the everyday joggers pass by and the couple who often take a bicycle ride down the streets. The fresh smell of roses scented the air, a couple floors downs...there was a floral gift shop. Your eyes went to the building built in front of yours. Facing your balcony was another balcony and there you saw the very tall, dark haired, blue eyed new boy that had just moved in. He was standing on the balcony with a notebook in his hands. He seemed mysterious....you thought at first but then he seemed to have felt your gaze and turned his head up to face you. You quickly fixed your gaze back to your computer but you felt it was too late, you looked up and smiled...he smiled back at you...you now saw how Monsieur mystérieux looked so wholesome and innocent because of his smile. The smell of roses were lovely but how could they possibly beat his sweet smile and curious gaze. {Oui...I got the inspiration from people gazing at me (not quite the lovely way) whenever I go outside at the balcony. I wrote a creepy horror version but never a lovely aesthetic one so here it is

Please do! Come to France, you'll be worshipped. Our obsession with boulangeries is absolutely not a cliché!

I wrote a creepy horror version but never a lovely aesthetic one so here it is
Loved this! This was so wholesome
