All Honda lovers know three words, it's a Honda. Awesome little machine!
Such fond memories riding a bike like this as a child. I could pick one up for a few weeks pocket money back then and spend all day in the local woods tearing up the the dirt. I've snapped one in half doing jumps and then I used the engine in a homemade go kart. Great job guys. I'd love to come to the museum when things are more back to normal and check out your extensive collection and maybe bring something home with me to the UK. Excellent work.
We used to strip these and rant them around the woods, had great fun on these as a kid
What all would you do to them to get them ready for trails?

@@brandonwilliams8003 we just used to strip all plastics and excess wires,nobbly tire on the back and shes good to go,we used to use them how they were for a few days until they were smashed a bit

undisputed champ haha, that’s a riot, I want one of these things, they’re cool as hell
Had more fun on these as a teenager than any other motorcycle, we used to put a kx80 front tyre on the back wheel and use them off road , £1 worth of 4 star petrol and my mother didn’t see me all day, absolute classic!!!!

I remember having one of them but a 90 cc putting loads of hose pipe in the back tyre for a inner tube cause we used off road all the time and got punctures lol

These things were epic , used to offroad these when we were younger absolute bomb proof engines
MAN that is Such a clean bike , where I live this bike is known as the Caribbean Queen thanks good to see them again .

Still have mine.. 1981 Powered Blue.. Has only 537 miles on it.. Oh yeah... I also have 5 more.. All have under 800 miles on them... Bought them back in the late 80's too early 90... They went from 6 volts in 1981-82.. 1983 they went to 12 volt.. Which was cheaper for bulbs and plugs.. And parts..

I want it !! Me and the boys had one back in the day when we first started riding as kids. Awsome field bike lol. Its all about the basket on the front people, fit a few boxes of beer and a French baguette with a block if cheese in that bad boy. Would cruise all day on this. Lovely looking machine. Only one I have ridden was stripped down for off road use lol . Excellent video as allways guys 🛵
I really liked your french baguette comment absolute class. These bikes where the field bike of the day like you said. The engine makes a good go kart motor too. I made a homemade go kart with my motor after snapping the frame in two doing jumps in the local woods.

@@paddyoconnor5362 the wobbly front wheel and the bubble sound from the snapped exhaust😂 I paid £15 pound for a one in the 90,s and it lasted forever
This is the most famous motorbike in Greece.these and all the c50 cubs.still many on roads and very famous among youngsters who boost them.thank god you dont see 8 persons on it,but you will hear a lot of noise of open exhausts from these things

What is one like that worth? I have a blue one my dad bought brand new for my sister. I think it's a 81. It's been garaged it's entire life and still looks brand new. Still runs decent too

My buddy said in Germany he saw 5 guys pull up at a bar in scooters like that all leathered up and he busted out laughing . He said they kicked his butt .

They were designed to be ridden one handed , originally concept was for one handed noodle delivery in crowded Japan streets .. No matter what bikes your into you cant not fault these little bikes.

People like to call these things scooters in America, when in reality they are a motorcycle and are more capable than many bikes produce here in the USA
Technically it is a motorcycle like the CT90. It is missing the main part that would make it a scooter.. there is an engine in the place that would be a floorboard. You know the reason actual scooters have the engine placed under the seat closer to the rear wheel.
Pretty much the Honda Navi is a scooter dressed up as a motorcycle and the Super Cub is a motorcycle dressed up as a scooter.
They last forever

ken here in yorkshire the miners used these to get to work on kids rode them off road around the slurry tips or pit stacks as we call em
they used to strip them rite down cut the rear mudguard off put a knobbly tire on back as memory serves me it wos a kx 80 front tyre they put on back and cut exhaust down and take fairing off . havin removed the fairing you could go coal picking and have 2 bags of coal balanced where fairing wos .
we called honda plonks or plops or dogs they stood a lot off hammer lol
We use call them honda dogs lol about thirty years ago bulletproof engines just kept going

@@huskypoop4917 I know mate you could put them in the canal pull them out give it a hour fresh petrol they would start again honda always been a good engine what ever bikes they have made remember I had a transalp had for years went through ever mot in the end laid it to rest rotted to bits but engine kept going
