Matt, this has got to be one of the worse interactions I’ve witnessed by police. You were correct about the driver; when first asked if there was a reason why you were filming the comings and goings of police vehicles, you started to reply and momentarily paused in the moment. You said, “Yeah, just for erm” and then paused, the driver took advantage of this and attempted to put you on the back foot by abruptly saying, “Just for what sir?” Allow me to explain; in my being someone who has a varying degree of a stammer, (depending on the situation) his intention was to rush you into a response, thus putting you out of your stride and comfort bubble, the sole purpose of this is to demean you, too take control and be authoritative over you. I once had a judgemental teacher whom applied the same kind of tactic by saying that he could tell when I was lying, because I stammered. As you can imagine, he must have thought I was permanently lying throughout my entire high school. More concerning is the driver’s assumption when he comments that you are doing something illegal. 5:20 - 5:30 mark. He further implies that it is not just he who thinks this, as why else would his ‘colleagues’ feel the need to get out and speak to you? He even states at one point that you’re carrying out hostile reconnaissance, such actions and comments lead me to believe that he is nothing more than a bully. I would go as far to say that his attitude towards you is nothing but hostile. As for the others, how judgemental of them to pour scorn on your hobby and therefore imply that you’re purely there to cause them concern. Finally, well done Matt for keeping your composure, your conduct was exemplary throughout.
I don’t think these audits could be classed as a hobby. They actually show the public the abundance of tyrant police officers serving in today’s police service. For every one of these videos I watch I can’t help wonder how many citizens have had their rights abused today, because there was nobody filming the interaction. As was clearly demonstrated in this interaction the gorilla driving the van completely overreacted and in doing so inflamed all the other officers around him. The sergeant didn’t have the bottle or experience to diffuse the situation and simply remove all the officers from the scene. The filming of this type of interaction and the abuse of citizen rights is the sole purpose these audits have become so widespread. Most of these Auditors have my admiration for what they are showing us, it’s not something I would be brave enough to undertake.
Welcome to the UK where you HAVE to have a reason to conduct a legal and protected activity. Simply doing something because you want too or enjoy it, is not enough. Embarrassing!!
Out comes the Attitude, next out comes the notebook and pen, then outcomes the Current Climate,,same old,,,same old,,well handled,,,Even Oscar was sniggering 🤣
Note how the Sergeant stays out of the way, he's not stupid & knows the crack that any of his personal involvement will end up on UA-cam so let's his subordinates dig their own hole instead!
A polite converstaion? I don't think the driver did, we must have different ears. I heard accusatory, tyranical and dismissive from someone frightened by a camera, who has no respect for the rights of the individual and believes that uniform gives him the power to intimidate to prevent things he doesn't like rather than what is legal or illegal.
No wonder the Met Police are held in such low regard by the public, it's time to have the stables cleaned out because they stink and get up peoples nose's 👃🏼 at every opportunity.

Almost every day new corruption cases are being identified within the police, esp the MET. Visit Police Abusing Powers (PAP) and you will be amazed (maybe).

Years ago whilst working for City Link we used to deliver mobile phones that required a signature on a contract in order to complete the delivery of the phone, this was the early 1990's One day I had a phone delivery for a Mr Wayne Kerr, - I immediately suspected that something fishy was going on. The delivery address was a tyre centre in Bristol - I arrived, Mr Kerr came out with his birth certificate, passport, and utility bill - all was well, - we shared a light hearted moment over his unusual name, Mr Kerr informed me that he was often questioned on the validity of his name, he explained that his parents "never realised"
12:10 It did get a visit by other auditors. Marti B & friends have been there. Don't know if it was after or before your visit. This is the one where Marti got arrested for calling a copper an idiot. And it is his fifth claim against the police.
If the van driver was really concerned about his colleagues he would be building a good relationship with the public. That is the best route to police safety. So the police are concerned by a man with a camera, maybe they are in the wrong job!
hi matt and the 'boss'. many thanks for the video, it's a sad state of affairs these days when the police treat ordinary members of the public with rudeness and contempt. kind regards and much love to oscar.
1) Get their details 2) Let them know you are participating in a perfectly legal activity as out-lined on the Met Police's own website regarding public photography. 3) Refuse to give them any personal details as is your right under the law. 4) Remind them that the misuse of terrorist legislation by officers has already caused one section (section 44) of the terrorist act to be rescinded by parliament and the remaining section (section 33) is due for review in the near future. 5) Inform them that they are free to carry out their duties in accordance with their training but that any misuse of the powers invested in them by parliament will be recorded and could be used in evidence against the police service as well as against them personally as part of a civil case. THEN SAY NOTHING
Why do all these officers walk up or drive up and just start barking questions, like "Why are you taking pictures?" Wouldn't a proper approach be a salutation ("Good morning, sir" or "How are you?") and then identification ("I'm officer blank of the Catford Police")? A friendly approach would elicit a respectful response, especially when there is no obvious illegal activity going on.
Well done for keeping your cool. It doesn’t matter whether you understand it or not, what matters is whether it’s illegal or not and whether your rights are being infringed. You told them what you were doing and why and because they don’t like the answer they keep asking and asking whether you understand them. It’s a camera not a bazooka.
"Sometimes we catch terrorists", he couldn't catch a cold.
@Pollywog Me too !
i think he used to be a dog catcher and Oscar got him confused
Yep that driver was an absolute jobsworth so embarrassing to watch and listen to 🤦🏻♂️ great rubbish policing exposure good job 👍🏻 👏🏻
Surrounded by coppers, yet stood your ground. Just subscribed..Take care, mate. Ex pat . Japan. Peace.
Nice one mate, glad you approve
To all auditors go to this police station now well done Matt, you were on public land a legal act totally.
Welcome to the UK where you HAVE to have a reason to conduct a legal and protected activity. Simply doing something because you want too or enjoy it, is not enough. Embarrassing!!
It' s concerning for the public that the pigs are so corrupt and they have forgotten their job
That infantile policeman needs to check himself. So triggered. 😆
He's a coward
Matt. Thanks for continually doing a great job pointing out the fragile egos of these public servants
"Sometimes we catch terrorist that are quite obvious" I doubt that very much.
🤣NO, IT'S TRUE IT HAPPENS EVERY TIME THEY DO THEIR MAKE BELIEVE "TRAINING"🤣BUNCH OF USELESS TYRANTS WASTE OF TAXPAYERS MONEY😏
They have caught 0 so far, that was a stupid comment from that cop, obviously difficult for them to think quickly , on their feet.
If he thinks a Terrorist looks like matt we are fucked :)
The coward would run away
@@johnseabrook1703 mainly because they run like cowards
Looks like he joined the police to bully and belittle the public, I feel sorry for his family.
No wonder the Met Police are held in such low regard by the public, it's time to have the stables cleaned out because they stink and get up peoples nose's 👃🏼 at every opportunity.
If it is unusual, there wouldn't be a law saying you can do it..
What a disgusting attitude these tyrants have!!…chewing gum whilst addressing a member of the public!! This police force is desperately declining!!
Breaking news: British citizen pursuing his hobby in a legal way is stopped by four or five police officers who by default mention terrorism, and threaten asking the man to move on - Welcome 2022
You cannot believe the utter bollocks that comes out their gobs, just a complete waist of public funds.
That fella in the front of that van was an absolute donut. Cringe worthy watching that guy.
The worst thing is these people have the power to change your life.......
The cop in the van said "your Lucky you filmed it all" Why would he say that. Wonder what would happen if you hadn't filmed it?🤔👍
Think he just meant because he disagreed with what i had said he said mate.
They have had years to come up with justification and yet all they can still quote are personal vehicles and terrorism ...
1:30
Perfect 'Bombay Welsh Comprehension' on your part, Matt! - However, always lead with "Ah, but, but, but," at the beginning of a response, when conversing in that language! - Same when the Old Bill arrive!
PC: "Why are you photographing?'
MATT: "Ah, but, but, but, I am am not being photographing, isn't it?"
PC: "Are you known to us?"
MATT: "Ah, but, but, but . . . I am having 'Police Record' isn't it!"
PC: (Gets Hardon!) "WOW A Police Record?"
MATT: "Ah but, but, but, 'Walking on the Moon' isn't it!"
Hallow hallow hallow
Well done Mat for standing up to those clowns, especially the van driver.
"I am concerned about you and the safety of my colleagues", Well, that shows just how good his judgement is doesn't it!
I know that we don't know what a terrorist looks like but from history we have a pretty good idea and they are not, middle aged, white, with a dog and a northen accent. All these people need to do is apply a little common sence, the sad thind is we, as a people are forced to pay their wages and pensions
100% spot on, this is what i mean and why it winds me up
Very well done. Corporal jones's war cry has never been more apt. " They don't like it up em Sir".
Paranoia by the bucket load. Get a grip Met Police - concentrate on removing corruption from your own people not harassing the public.
Met looks like he could be leader of a grooming gang
Almost every day new corruption cases are being identified within the police, esp the MET. Visit Police Abusing Powers (PAP) and you will be amazed (maybe).
When they give you the BS about "you can see things from our perspective",tell them that you're not a Psychiatrist.
The driver is a clear example of the plant pots within OUR police service to think we pay their wages ?? I think the U.K. are all due a REBATE due to THEIR incompetence !
Very well done ... you stood your ground and stood up for your rights. TSG - "The Muscle of the Met" .... specialists in beating up OAPs and
young girls.
Mat all the time you take your pup pup to these encounter, he gets stressed he picks up on the negative tension, I like what you do just a thought bro
You should see me trying to leave the house at 5am without him, we do some awesome country park walks on the day too and i know when to call it quits.
you could hear oscar talking seemed bit stressed. love how animals can sence things not good. im always watching dog rescue videos. love american pit bulls such loving goofy dogs,
Leave the dog home. Okay... Don't make come over there

@@danintrocaso... Weirdo!
Guy in the van needs to Foxtrot Oscar.
Your dog Matt gives the look to say LOL here we go again 😂
It was filmed for your protection against the get away driver and the other gang members.Oscar was brilliant again well supported by you Mat.
Years ago whilst working for City Link we used to deliver mobile phones that required a signature on a contract in order to complete the delivery of the phone, this was the early 1990's
One day I had a phone delivery for a Mr Wayne Kerr, - I immediately suspected that something fishy was going on.
The delivery address was a tyre centre in Bristol - I arrived, Mr Kerr came out with his birth certificate, passport, and utility bill - all was well, - we shared a light hearted moment over his unusual name,
Mr Kerr informed me that he was often questioned on the validity of his name, he explained that his parents "never realised"
Wow that's mad that, imagine living with it!
Great name for saying quickly to some meddling official demanding to know who you are . . .
He's so concerned that he's sat in his van smirking.!!!
If aspects of the job makes them nervous, get another job puffters! Ps, yes, that driver wouldn't last long in our pub!
So worried about a camrea.... Look what's happened
at no 10...all the pictures of that party that never happened....
If only they put as much effort into protecting the public as they do protecting themselves!!
hi matt and the 'boss'. many thanks for the video, it's a sad state of affairs these days when the police treat ordinary members of the public with rudeness and contempt.
kind regards and much love to oscar.
They hear what they want to hear as it suits them ✌️
1) Get their details
2) Let them know you are participating in a perfectly legal activity as out-lined on the Met Police's own website regarding public photography.
"Luckily you filmed it all"
That's a slip. Who knows what that tattooed thug would do if it wasn't filmed.
I know. Rape and murder like his good friend did.
They love violence
Why do all these officers walk up or drive up and just start barking questions, like "Why are you taking pictures?" Wouldn't a proper approach be a salutation ("Good morning, sir" or "How are you?") and then identification ("I'm officer blank of the Catford Police")? A friendly approach would elicit a respectful response, especially when there is no obvious illegal activity going on.
It is down to the piss poor training they are given.
And i would of been totally different mate...
Twat in the van has ego issues because you didn’t immediately bow down to him.
You've found your zone matt ..absolutely brilliant and funny ...keep this up your overtaking the others ...
Private VRMs are NOT private. Donkeys why don't these people know the law and there so insistent on flexing the muscles
I wonder why somebody with evil intent would need a photograph in order to follow somebody home!
And to think my father charged Rommels tanks and 88s with a 303 and a bayonet to end up with muppets like this lot.
thinking the very same, my old man was in the 8th, this lot would piss themselves if they had to fight
@@robertovers1863 my dad was in the 8th too. 51st Division.Gordon Highlanders. 11:20 Notice the body language of the copper who is really concerned about the safety of his colleagues. He's not bothered at all, he's just annoyed that his attempt at intimidation using his authority has failed.
That concerned he stayed in the van.I hope the general public speak to him the way he spoke to Matt
Love it. The Catford Clowns sums them up most succinctly. As I have said before Ego, Arrogance and a low, low IQ are shown to the utmost here with MOTOR MOUTH behind the wheel summing it up with a total 100% performance. Keep it up Matt and give Oscar a good tummy rub from me.
Nice one Trev
Mat they are laughing at you mate, they are practicing a well rehearsed routine of firing pointless questions at you from multiple angles, it is to frustrate you and they hope you will trip up or incriminate yourself. The one that a lot of auditors seem to crumble at is after they browbeat you about filming police vehicles they then throw in Personal vehicles.. don't fall for it.. if they don't want their private vehicle on show then they should get the bus to work shouldn't they ! My Tip Do Not let them suck you in, NEVER explain anything. Grin at them and let them dig their own hole.
Nope, i am laughing at them and "I" will be the one trying to incriminate when i speak and try and trip them up, already have 4 cases ongoing. Trust me, i'm a pro ;)
Hey doggie!
I can't help but worry what the pigs will do to your dog.
Your dog was whimpering throughout. They're a great judge of character and I think the dog sensed you were surrounded by tyrants.
Poor doggy was whimpering worried all those pigs would eat him.
The dog was whimpering because he’s subjected to this nonsense all the time his owner is always trying to wind the police up to get a reaction, if you choose to do this at least leave the dog at home
@iskillcorn1 shut up mate. He's out making an effort to make police accountable for their actions for the rest of us. If you don't approve of auditors don't watch their videos. Move along sir!

Well done Matt, lots of attempted intimidation with zero affect on you..
The rage inside all of them police an Sargent was so obvious, still a few think photography is a crime
Only an order or a new law stops him from violence
Best auditor out there IMO. Ashame he’s not doing new material. Hopefully Matt returns
Chewing gum , hands in pockets etc...
How unprofessional...
Using Rona, Terrorism, on and on...all an excuse for standing over the public giving themselves a bad name ...
Tattooed Plod: “I think you’re doing something wrong…it’s very questionable…you ARE filming people for hostile reconnaissance”!
The only criminal offence was the driver - who left his engine on when stopped. Them there was the illegal recording - a GDPR breach. The Police policy breaches were many, from incorrect uniform to chewing gum when talking to their paymasters; us the public. Perhaps even “interrogation without a solicitor present”…
Utter clowns. Totally unprofessional.
Britain… This used to be a free society, a free country, where Police didn’t unilaterally, arrogantly create problems (whilst breaking laws themselves).
10 minutes in and copper is only just starting to establish the facts 😂😂
Well done matt and Oscar that driver was so nasty and rude he would of loved to get you on something well done to you mind Oscar looks very suspicious and shifty keep up the great work thank you
ive come to the conclusion after watching many many auditing vids ..there are no good police tossifers
A few good ones but there as rare as hen's teeth.
They are spreading like a virus.
Coppers talking to a member of the public with hands in their pockets and masticating.
That was Nick Frost.
Great video. Don't forget to order them away at the end, it makes their blood boil.
