Clip from the Gadget Show when they raced a few RC cars on the beach at Weston

3 years ago I was lucky enough to help out with a feature on the Gadget Show when they challenged each other to a race on the beach using different RC Vehicles, the Traxxas TRX4, the Carisma M10DB, a 3d printed Motorbike and a Hovercraft, however before they started filming the hovercraft broke down and luckily I had my Tamiya Sand Scorcher with me (which I had been throwing round the beach most of the day while they were filming different bits on the pier) which took the place of the Hovercraft in the line up.
My little beetle did take a bit of damage, purely cosmetic though, the Carisma buggy was easily the fastest and the TRX4 (in low gear with open diffs) was the easiest to control, my scorcher held its own while the bike was a bit of a handful.

Haha I’m lucky enough to have a couple of scorchers, this was just my runner so I didn’t mind 👍🏼
