How is that matte silver paint on the fairings doing? I heard matte paint is hard to maintain, scuffs or dulls easily, need to use special soaps. And should not use wax like you would on glossy paint. Wax will leave swirls and dull the matte effect

A year and a half into owning this bike and no issues yet with dulling or swirling! The cleaning solution I use, which includes some form of light wax, works well on matte wrapped cars and has been working great on this bike.

swirling comes from dirt/sediments in your washing sponge and scratching the clear coat on the paint. if you wash something correctly you will have no swirls
