The small MV FPD fire engine at 9:13 had the best sounding electronic siren. It sounds like late 1960s Federal PA15A or PA20A siren. This is the type of siren that should have been installed in the 1967-1970 era police cars and ambulances in the parade. Unfortunately, the sirens I heard in those old cop cars and ambos were the high-pitched versions which are too new for vehicles of that vintage.

@nosferatu135 Interestingly enough, back in the 1970's and before, before EMTs and Paramedics, most ambulance companies were run by funeral homes. Hearses would be emptied, and gurneys used to be designed so that it could eather have a matress to hold a patient or running board to hold a coffin.

I'd hightly reccomend going! Go to the CEVS website, im not sure what exactly what it is, google chicagoland emergency vehicle show, and they have some pretty cool info on it. I'll be there next year for sure! (I hope.)
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, its night time and we're wearing sunglasses... Oh and check out how many California cars are in this parade! COOOL!
@nosferatu135 some years ago communities without much money used ombined ambulance/hearse vehicles to save money. in funeral case they hung a some canvass over the light like you may know it from fire trucks at funeral scenes/processions

I did not have one at the time. All my Lights and Sirens parade videos since then have used a tripod.
